Sam Shamoun is refuting is his own article by linking each verse of Isaiah 42 to many unrelated verses. Especially verses from Greek books that were written decades after Paul claim to met Jesus in the desert and spread stories about resurrections and  spreading  Hellenistic culture onto Israelite covenant worshpping a human-God.

Imagine Jews reading Isaiah 42. They question among themselves how do we interpret this passage of Isaiah 42?
Quote
Eventually they the Jews of 1st century and past will have to say :
those phrases are linked to many other passage and also some foreign Greek books that worship Hellenistic Human-god that are yet to be written.

Passage of Isaiah 42 is about a servant of God,  a prophet that will remove act of worshipping molten images from Arabia and they the inhabitants of Arabia will spread the praise and glorify a singular God to mankind.

Quote
I am the Lord, that is My Name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to the graven images. Isa 42:8

Yhwh emphasize that He is Singular and not to believe the Hellenistic nonsense or other foreign falsehood of making partners, equals onto Him.

As'salamu Alaikum Everyone,

Welcome to the board AnsweringIslam Watch.  May Allah Almighty continue to lead you to Islam.  Ameen.

To add to brother Submit's points, the Jews also knowing that a Prophet was going to come from the lands where Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, came from, they decided to migrate there and form tribes.  They thought or hoped that he would be a Prophet from them, an Israelite.

So the lands are definitely understood correctly.  It's the Jews' and Christians' stubbornness that blinds them from seeing it.  The reader can visit the following link for all quotations and references:

I also have refuted Sam Shamoun on Deuteronomy 18:18, and gave the qualifiers that the Bible gave about "their brothers" that clearly showed that it meant their brothers the Ishmaelites.  The Ishmaelites are the brothers of the Israelites, since throughout the Bible, the word was both used for "brother" and "cousin".  But the qualifiers that I gave even from Deuteronomy showed that it meant their cousins:

As-Salam aleikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraketuh,

I am really amazed when I read that Christians are still trying to prove that Isaiah 42 foretells Jesus advent (pbuh) - and not Mohammed (pbuh) - by using these miserable arguments based only on translations, and by alluding mostly to the New Testament's content which is not regarded as a historical source according to the Christian scholars themselves. On the other hand, there are a lot of info which clearly indicates that this servant of God must have been originally named as "Ahmed". Also, for instance, the person which was mentioned in Haggai 2:7 as the "desire of all nations" (heb. hemdat) is described as a "Chosen one" similarly to the servant of God from Isaiah 42:1 ! I have a proof from one of the greatest rabbi that the Hebrew term hemed which appears among others in Haggai 2:7 is a proper name! Even Isaiah 53 - a Chapter which perhaps none of muslim would imagine as a prophecy about Muhammed (pbuh) - paradoxically describes Prophet Mohammed (pbuh). How ? Uff...long research brothers, but I will share with you insha'Allah my project, just be patient.

Take care, and salam
Ahmed (Poland, Warsaw)
