At the top of the North Pole, it never sets, and I showed the video for that, and also quoted the scientific sources for that.  Also in the lands near by, it almost never sets either, and I quoted sources for that as well, and also showed pictures of the "polar night" skies on these lands.

To perform prayers and fasting in places with prolonged period of daylight will require Muslims to perform estimate of time in those places.

Quote
We asked: "O Messenger of Allah! How long will he stay on the earth?'' He said, "For forty days. One day will be like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week and the rest of the days will be like your days.'' We said: "O Messenger of Allah! Will one day's Salat (prayer) suffice for the Salat of that day which will be equal to one year?'' Thereupon he said, "No, but you must make an estimate of time and then offer Salat.'' We said: "O Messenger of Allah! How quickly will he walk upon the earth?'' Thereupon he said, "Like cloud driven by the wind (i.e., very quickly)-Hadith Muslim

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

Alhamdulillah Rabbi Al-Alameen for everything.  New strong proofs from Western sources added to the following article:

www.answering-christianity.com/sunrise_sunset.htm

Read the strong historical accounts from Wikipedia that give amazing geographical and historical proofs for the Glorious Quran's Miracle.  They referenced the following non-Muslim references:

1. Apocalypse of Pseudo-Methodius 8; Alexander Romance, epsilon recension 39.

a. Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews 1.123 and 18.97; The Jewish War 7.244-51.

2. Bietenholz, Peter G. (1994). Historia and fabula: myths and legends in historical thought from antiquity to the modern age. Brill. ISBN 9004100636.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters in Islam,

One interesting point to mention here is this:

"We made no cover for them from it...." لم نجعل لهم من دونها ستر was never mentioned for sunset.  Only to "where the sun is up...." in Noble Verse 18:90, which further supports that  "We made no cover...." is indeed talking about the Northern territories near the North Pole.  See  ample pictures of the sun never sets at the North Pole at:
