GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Re: Why too many muslims left Islam?
« on: November 20, 2016, 06:17:32 AM »
I have to add. Throughout my years, in terms of theology nothing can compare to Islam. To degrade a God to the likes of his own creation, saying whether he got killed or was an elephant or was created serves no justice except exposing his lack of being a supernatural deity. Those are definitely not God's worthy of worship. (imo)

As to the brainwashed Muslims who convert to Christianity (for money or other propaganda reasons) they should be aware of aaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllll the alterations, trinity insertions after the 16th century and (Sorry to Osama and the other readers) fantasizing about men having very large genitals and their emission of sperm as strong as horses. (Ezekiel, Chapter 23 : 19-21)

Seems to me that the majority of current day Christianity has nothing to do with the teachings of Christianity itself but rather motivational speakers and therapists just making people "feel good" while tossing a few Christ slogans around. (What Would Jesus Do? Jesus is my buddy, etc.)

1. An abundance of Anti-Islamic Propaganda (turn on any news station and try to not find a reference to Muslims)
2. An abundance of Atheist Propaganda (all over social media platforms, doesn't matter if you are watching a video of cat's playing)
3. An unfortunate amount of Sheikh's who would rather spend time talking about past events or stupid issues labeling EVERYTHING haram. (this hair cut is haram and will land you in hell, pokemon is haram etc.)
4. Lack of Muslim Philosophers and finance to scientific fields in the Gulf.
5. Muslims lacking knowledge in their own religion. (Not that they do not memorize the Qur'an, but they lack the knowledge in a lot of areas.
6. They often get persuaded by worldy gains (Parties, clubs and drinking) so abandoning religion will obviously make them feel less guilty and they do not like the notion of being judged when all they want to do is take a moment to "relax". This reason however, i have seen almost all of them eventually return to Islam even stronger. Then again this is subjective.

The most powerful problem has to be the internet and sites such as wikiislam, answering islam and answeringmuslims and whatever.

We have these Christian fools trying to refute our religion while promoting their own which is hilarious at first, but not as funny when naive muslims fall prey to their traps. In addition to Osama's site which absolutely rips through Christian creationism, check out this other site found called ( science-of-the-bible.blogspot.com ) to get another view-point of such a morally, historically and logically bankrupt religion. You obviously must have heard of other brothers such as Sami Z. and many others who have sealed the coffin on Christianity.

I almost forgot, the majority of Muslim leaders at our time aren't that smart. They'd rather spend money on unnecessary infrastructure and useless empty buildings than defend Islam online with all their money. For example, here in Kuwait. Sites like Answeringislam or Harun Yahya are blocked on several ISP's. But the real question is... why don't they bring Muslim scholars together to respond and refute such allegations INSTEAD OF just blocking them and declaring it to be HARAM? That's their only defense these days, sadly.

In addition, a creationist according to Western Context are like those of the N.E.C who believe the Earth is 10,000 years old... hence obviously why no one would stand by them and only ridicule them. They reject all the records in regards to the age of the earth and such.

We obviously differ from that greatly.

Cheer up ;)

I was in your place. People often get mixed up between Darwinism and Evolution.

To say that humans evolve over time is no problem at all.

However, the notion of a fish turning into an amphibian to a monkey-ape then human is not what evolution is about. That's Darwinism. It is VERY easy to get lost in translation.

In terms of Islam, there's no problem saying that humans evolved over time unless it is with the exception of Adam.

(as for the science books, at one point they all stated that the sun doesn't orbit).

So to make the claim that Islam rejects Evolution is not really accurate, it rejects Darwinism. Certain sheikh's who say otherwise clearly cannot distinguish between the two. According to Gould, evolution is not a straight chain but like a branch of common ancestors.

Hope this helps. :)

Brother Osama, i read the article. But what i meant to ask was is a day equal to 1,000 days to allah or 50,000 as stated in the verses ?

How could both be finished in the same time but one is a thousand and the other fifty thousand?

Thank you guys in advance.

الله كريم.

Also, there were a few topics written that i didn't find rebuttals to here. These doomed to hell infidels will literally do anything to attack islam yet not apply it to their bible...

Deluded indeed.

Brother Osama, i searched through the link you provided but i couldn't find rebuttals to these  ?

Further numerical discrepancies:  Does Allah's day equal to 1,000 human years (Sura 22:47, 32:5) or 50,000 human years (Sura 70:4)? --- How many gardens are there in paradise? ONE [as stated in 39:73, 41:30, 57:21, 79:41] or MANY [18:31, 22:23, 35:33, 78:32]? --- According to Sura 56:7 there will be THREE distinct groups of people at the Last Judgement, but 90:18-19, 99:6-8, etc. mention only TWO groups. --- There are conflicting views on who takes the souls at death: THE Angel of Death [32:11], THE angels (plural) [47:27] but also "It is Allah that takes the souls (of men) at death." [39:42]
Angels have 2, 3, or 4 pairs of wings [35:1]. But Gabriel had 600 wings. [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 455]

Especially the human years and Jibril's wings.

There actually is an example from Classical Arabic. There's a quote from Ibn Al Rumi (born a hundred years after the prophet died) where he uses the example of a baker molds the dough like an egg or something round. If you click on one of my earlier posts regarding the earth on my profile you will find one of the brothers posted it.  Then again i think the egg thing was considered weak. Like even brother Osama relied more on the implication of a roundness and provided a hadith from the Prophet himself.

Cause any infidel can claim (like answering-islam did on wikipedia) that an ostrich egg is prolate and not oblate like the earth.

Dr. Yasir Qadhi said: To claim that the Quran preaches that the world is flat is an outrageous claim. In fact there is unanimous consensus amongst medieval Muslim scholars to the contrary. Ibn Hazm (d. 1064 CE), wrote over a thousand years ago in his book al-Fisal, "I do not know of a single scholar worth the title of scholar who claims other than that the earth is round. Indeed the evidences in the Quran and Sunnah are numerous to this effect" [al-Fisal, v. 2 p. 78].

Ibn Taymiyya (d. 1328 CE), someone who is typically accused of literalism, wrote that there is unanimous consensus of all the scholars of Islam that the world is round, and that reality and perception also proves this, for, as he writes, it is well known that the Sun sets on different peoples at different times, and does not set on the whole world at the same time. In fact, writes Ibn Taymiyya, it is truly an ignorant person who claims that the earth is not round. [Majmu al-Fatawa, v. 6, p. 586]. And there are many others scholars, such as al-Razi, who wrote on this subject, and I do not know of any medieval scholar who held another view.

All of this shows the necessity of gaining Islamic knowledge from reputable sources, and from verifying anything you read from the people of knowledge. (from his facebook)

In addition, the Qur'an never said the Earth has four corners, nor ends or even sides. Therefore, there is no implication of it being flat like a paper.

I think the surah which goes (Yukawwiro al-layli 'ala al nahar) implies a spherical shape of the earth.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I hope this may have helped you.

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Nihilist ?
« on: November 08, 2016, 12:19:03 AM »
Nihility is the belief that nothing happens after we die. An atheist point of view as well. They assert that we don't remember the time before we die, therefore we will not remember or see anything after we die.

I remember reading in the Qur'an (I'm not sure which surah) about how we are born twice? How does the above claim correlate with Islam? Cause according to Islam weren't we all created then our souls were sent down to Earth?

Also, how legit is the above Nihilist view?

Salam.

Sometimes, i ponder on thoughts and think "What is the point of even refuting these people? They believe that "Almighty God" was once a little baby that relied on his mother's breast milk and had to have his tushy also wiped by mummy." I think that alone can paint us a very vivid (out of the box) view of Christianity.

I also feel like they do not even know what they are teaching. One day Jesus is the son of god... or equal... or is all powerful.. or is a prophet... & then God himself for crying out loud. If anything their priests and missionaries hide several verses from their people. Such as a rapist marrying his culprit forever without a divorce. Cutting their eye out if they stare at a hot lady as it is better to lose their eye than their whole body in hell (Matthew 5:27-29)

Cut their hand off if they commit a sin. (Matthew 5:30) Nothing metaphorical as the greek word used for cut was  ἔκκοψον. Imagine how the world would be if people actually followed the teachings of Christianity (blind and hand-less) i wonder how woods and shamwow refute these verses. "It's a metaphor!" looooooooooool

But obviously, we need to refute fools like these as they create way too much noise and feed on the minds of young naive Muslims.

Bump. Osama, this is an update in regards to wife beating should be light and it is not the translators sugar-coating it. Evidence from one of the earliest accounts of our Prophet p.b.u.h is evidence.

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Significance of the Number 7 ?
« on: November 05, 2016, 09:53:00 PM »
Salam guys,

I've been wondering, what is the deal with the number 7 in Islam (maybe even other religions?) We have to circulate around the Ka'aba 7 times, the Qur'an describes the 7 heavens and seven earths like it.

So far all i know is seven heavens was a metaphor for several layers (Like how in arabic we say Ana kont be saba3 noum) It doesn't literally mean i was sleeping in 7. It implies a long time.

But what's the logic behind the 7 times around the ka'aba and the pattern occurrence of 7? Doesn't 7 have a sort of pagan history or am i wrong?

Thank you brothers in advance,

Thanks. I've been extremely paranoid ever since.. i need to make salah.. inshAllah I'll be writing more articles soon.
