I have read that most of the hadiths concerning Imam Mahdi are either weak or fabricated. How many hadiths about him are there?

Cults & Deviant Beliefs / No new faiths.

In the Prophe's PBUH Farewell sermon he says that no new faiths will arise. Sikhism and rastafarianism both came after Islam. So...can someone explain this because the Prophet PBUH cant have been wrong.

While i was looking at Saheeh Muslim i came across 16:4131. Here's the link.

I was a bit shocked so (as i always do) i did a bit of detective work. Only anti muslims jumped on this and i couldnt find any explanation. I recall a AC or someother website touching on this hadith but i couldnt seem to find it. Could someone give me the link or just explain it here. Thanks.

People argue that 'theistic evolution' that is evolution which is powered by Allah is compatible with Islam. Is this wishful thinking? If it was true wouldnt that contradict the Adam and Eve story. You have probably guessed that im in that phase where you begin to question everything you believe (I even had a comedy moment when i quetioned my sexuality) so if i repeat questions which have already been answered, forgive me.

Yeah. I just find this extremely annoying. They also made it un-islamic for women to travel furhter than 48 miles without a male mahram. I can understand this one but deobandis in other countries will also probably follow it even though the countries they live in are safe. What are your opinions.

Question 1. Why do we seek medicine if Allah caused sickness? Shouldnt we let him cure us?
Question 2. Are beliefs such as fits being possessed by jinn and the evil eye backed up in Quran and/or hadiths?
Question 3. Why doesnt Surah Taubah begin with Bismillah?
Quesion 4. Whats the difference between Sunnis and Sufis?

So yeah. How do you know if someone has committed rape or not. Do you need witnesses? Just a testimony of the raped? Testimony of the raper?

By this i dont mean abolishing the crimes but what i mean is changing the punishments for a modern equivalent. So if there was a crime which original punishment was beheading could we change it for something else such as lethal injection? Thanks.

So yeah. Say you're walking down the street and BAM a thug comes out and starts swinging. It is obviously instinct to protect yourself BUT i read a hadith somewhere which says do not hit the head. But it wouldnt be a very effective fight if you couldnt hit them in the head. Actually if you hit them in the head and knock them unconscious or disorientate them the fight could finish very quickly. So...whats the opinion?
