Yusuf Ali: [007:033] Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to God, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about God of which ye have no knowledge. Arabic (from right to left): 7:33 قل انما حرم ربي الفواحش ماظهر منها ومابطن والاثم والبغي بغير الحق وان تشركوا بالله مالم ينزل به سلطانا وان تقولوا على الله مالاتعلمون |

Yusuf Ali: [007:080] We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? [007:081] "For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women : ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." [007:082] And his people gave no answer but this: they said, "Drive them out of your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!" Arabic (from right to left): 7:80 ولوطا اذ قال لقومه اتاتون الفاحشة ماسبقكم بها من احد من العالمين 7:81 انكم لتاتون الرجال شهوة من دون النساء بل انتم قوم مسرفون 7:82 وماكان جواب قومه الا ان قالوا اخرجوهم من قريتكم انهم اناس يتطهرون |

Yusuf Ali: [027:054] (We also sent) Lut (as an apostle): behold, He said to his people, "Do ye do what is shameful though ye see (its iniquity)? [027:055] Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant! [027:056] But his people gave no other answer but this: they said, "Drive out the followers of Lut from your city: these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure!" Arabic (from right to left): 27:54 ولوطا اذ قال لقومه اتاتون الفاحشة وانتم تبصرون 27:55 ائنكم لتاتون الرجال شهوة من دون النساء بل انتم قوم تجهلون 27:56 فما كان جواب قومه الا ان قالوا اخرجوا ال لوط من قريتكم انهم اناس يتطهرون |
