Rebuttal to Gerhard Nehls article The Message

By Sami Zaatari

He Wrote

Jews, Christians, and Muslims, agree to a considerable extent on who these messengers were. They are, among others, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Job and David. The Jews would deny the title ‘prophet’ to Jesus, while Muslims call Jesus ‘Nabi Isa’. Interesting is the fact that while he is called ‘messenger’, the actual message he brought is not recorded in the Qur’an. It is found in the Gospel.

My Response

My first suggestion to Mr.Gerhard is to read the Quran a bit better next time because the message of Jesus is indeed found in the Quran. Here you go:

003.049

YUSUFALI: "And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

So note, we see that Jesus was a messenger to the Children of Israel, meaning he was spreading God's word. And what do all messengers of God do? They preach that there is no God but God.

Secondly, Jesus shows the people miracles from God, and he does this to show them that there is a God so they eventually believe.

So just from this one verse alone we see what the message of Jesus was, that he wanted people to believe in the one and true God!

There is more:

03.050

YUSUFALI: "'(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me.

How could Mr.Gerhard miss this verse? The verse clearly states that Jesus came to confirm the Torah, and to abrogate some its rules and laws!!!! If this is not clear enough on Jesus' mission and his message, then I don’t know what it is.

So from two verses we have, we can see what Jesus' message was. He came to bring people to one and true God, he performed miracles by the permission and help of God. He confirmed the Torah, and abrogated some of its rules.

There is more:

03.051

YUSUFALI: "'It is Allah Who is my Lord and your Lord; then worship Him. This is a Way that is straight.'"

Again, we see the message of Jesus. Which is that Allah is his and their God, and that they should worship him, and that this is the straight way, the true way, the way that will get you to heaven.

There is more:

003.052

YUSUFALI: When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.

We see that Jesus saw the unbelief in his people, and that he began to ask who will help him, who will assist him in carrying out God's mission. And as we see, the disciples said they help him, and to bear witness that they were believers in Jesus' God.

There is more:

019.030

YUSUFALI: He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;

So again we see the message of Jesus, he is a prophet of and servant of Allah and has been given revelation.

There is more:

19.031

YUSUFALI: "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

We see that Jesus has been blessed, and that he has been commanded to pray and give the Zakat as long as he lives. And since he is a prophet, and an example to the people, it will be obvious that he will also teach his people to pray, and give Zakat.

There is more:

19.032

YUSUFALI: "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;

Again we see the message of Jesus, that he has been made kind to his mother, meaning he is a good respectable man, and that he is not miserable, arrogant etc. And since we know that prophets are an example to mankind, it is obvious that Jesus would have teached his followers to be kind to their mothers, and not to be arrogant and so on.

There is more:

4.172

YUSUFALI: Christ disdaineth nor to serve and worship Allah, nor do the angels, those nearest (to Allah): those who disdain His worship and are arrogant,-He will gather them all together unto Himself to (answer).

Here we see God telling us that Jesus did not feel arrogant or ashamed or selfish to pray to God, and that he was a humble servant. This also logically tells us that Jesus would also tell his followers the same thing. To pray to God, and to not be proud or arrogant.

There is more:

05.078

YUSUFALI: Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses.

Here we see that the prophets David AND Jesus cursed those among the children of Israel who had rejected the message. Yet again this tells us what Jesus did and his message, this shows us that Jesus did not take to kindly those who rejected his message from God.

There is more:

05.112

YUSUFALI: Behold! the disciples, said: "O Jesus the son of Mary! can thy Lord send down to us a table set (with viands) from heaven?" Said Jesus: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith."

05.113

YUSUFALI: They said: "We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that thou hast indeed told us the truth; and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle."

5.114

YUSUFALI: Said Jesus the son of Mary: "O Allah our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a solemn festival and a sign from thee; and provide for our sustenance, for thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)."

5.115

YUSUFALI: Allah said: "I will send it down unto you: But if any of you after that resisteth faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples."

5.116

YUSUFALI: And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah'?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden.

5.117

YUSUFALI: "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up Thou wast the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things.

So from these verses we see a lot of things. We see that Jesus never told his people to worship him, we see that Jesus told his people to worship Allah the true God.

We also see a nice story, when his disciples had asked him to send down a table-set from heaven, Jesus told them to fear God and have faith, but they persisted. So Allah sent it down for them, but warned them if any of them still had doubts, he would then inflict a severe punishment on them.

So as we see and saw, there is a lot on Jesus' message found in the Quran!

He Wrote

Strangely, Muslim teachers today allege that Jesus’ message was given to the Jews only, yet the Qur'an mentions Jesus as being "a sign for all peoples [beings]" (Surat 21:91).

My Response

21.091

YUSUFALI: And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: We breathed into her of Our spirit, and We made her and her son a sign for all peoples.

To begin with, a sign of all peoples could mean a sign for future generations.

Secondly, Jesus being a sign for all peoples, in his present era does not mean he had to preach to them all now does it? No.

Jesus could be a sign for all mankind yet at the same time be sent to teach and guide a specific group of people, and not all of mankind.

So Gerhards point really doesn’t mean anything.

He Wrote

The Qur'an teaches: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob ... to Moses and Jesus and that given to all prophets from their Lord. We make no differences between one and another of them" (Surat 2:136).

To justify such contradiction to the Qur’an, Muslim teachers declare that the Bible, which originally recorded the messages of “Abraham ... Moses and Jesus”, is no more the Word of God, but has been changed and corrupted.

My Response

Correction, not Muslim teachers, but God himself in the Quran states your Bible is corrupt:

04.157

YUSUFALI: That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

Here is another explicit verse speaking of Bible corruption, the Quran states that if anyone believes that Jesus died and was crucified they then follow nuthing but CONJECTURE which is corruption. Which book today tells us that Jesus died and was crucified? The Bible, so hence the Quran here does call the Bible corrupt. So it cant get anymore clear than that.

005.013

YUSUFALI: But because of their breach of their covenant, We cursed them, and made their hearts grow hard; they change the words from their (right) places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them, nor wilt thou cease to find them- barring a few - ever bent on (new) deceits: but forgive them, and overlook (their misdeeds): for Allah loveth those who are kind.

Another verse showing Bible corruption, this is reffering to the Jews. They changed the words from their right places, this could be mis-interpret mis-quote or change the words and put them in different places than they originally were. Each one is a corruption of the book. Here is what the Tafsir says about this verse:

The Jews Alter and Change the Law, Such As Stoning the Adulterer

[ ]

(They change the words from their places:) by altering their meanings and knowingly distorting them after they comprehended them,

[ ]

(they say, "If you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, then beware!") It was reported that this part of the Ayah was revealed about some Jews who committed murder and who said to each other, "Let us ask Muhammad to judge between us, and if he decides that we pay the Diyah, accept his judgement. If he decides on capital punishment, do not accept his judgement.'' The correct opinion is that this Ayah was revealed about the two Jews who committed adultery. The Jews changed the law they had in their Book from Allah on the matter of punishment for adultery, from stoning to death, to a hundred flogs and making the offenders ride a donkey facing the back of the donkey. When this incident of adultery occurred after the Hijrah, they said to each other, "Let us go to Muhammad and seek his judgement. If he gives a ruling of flogging, then implement his decision and make it a proof for you with Allah. This way, one of Allah's Prophets will have upheld this ruling amongst you. But if he decides that the punishment should be stoning to death, then do not accept his decision.'' There are several Hadiths mentioning this story. Malik reported that Nafi` said that `Abdullah bin `Umar said, "The Jews came to Allah's Messenger and mentioned that a man and a woman from them committed adultery. Allah's Messenger said to them,

(What do find of the ruling about stoning in the Tawrah) They said, `We only find that they should be exposed and flogged.' `Abdullah bin Salam said, `You lie. The Tawrah mentions stoning, so bring the Tawrah.' They brought the Tawrah and opened it but one of them hid the verse about stoning with his hand and recited what is before and after that verse. `Abdullah bin Salam said to him, `Remove your hand,' and he removed it, thus uncovering the verse about stoning. So they said, He (`Abdullah bin Salam) has said the truth, O Muhammad! It is the verse about stoning.' The Messenger of Allah decided that the adulterers be stoned to death and his command was carried out. I saw that man shading the woman from the stones with his body.'' Al-Bukhari and Muslim also collected this Hadith and this is the wording collected by Al-Bukhari. In another narration by Al-Bukhari, the Prophet said to the Jews,

(What would you do in this case) They said, "We would humiliate and expose them.'' The Prophet recited,

[ ]

(Bring here the Tawrah and recite it, if you are truthful.) So they brought a man who was blind in one eye and who was respected among them and said to him, "Read (from the Tawrah).'' So he read until he reached a certain verse and then covered it with his hand. He was told, "Remove your hand,'' and it was the verse about stoning. So that man said, "O Muhammad! This is the verse about stoning, and we had hid its knowledge among us.'' So the Messenger ordered that the two adulterers be stoned, and they were stoned. Muslim recorded that a Jewish man and a Jewish woman were brought before Allah's Messenger because they committed adultery. The Messenger of Allah went to the Jews and asked them,

(What is the ruling that you find in the Tawrah for adultery) hThey said, "We expose them, carry them (on donkeys) backwards and parade them in public.'' The Prophet recited;

[ ]

(Bring here the Tawrah and recite it, if you are truthful.) So they brought the Tawrah and read from it until the reader reached the verse about stoning. Then he placed his hand on that verse and read what was before and after it. `Abdullah bin Salam, who was with the Messenger of Allah , said, "Order him to remove his hand,'' and he removed his hand and under it was the verse about stoning. So the Messenger of Allah commanded that the adulterers be stoned, and they were stoned. `Abdullah bin `Umar said, "I was among those who stoned them and I saw the man shading the woman from the stones with his body.'' Abu Dawud recorded that Ibn `Umar said, "Some Jews came to the Messenger of Allah and invited him to go to the Quff area. So he went to the house of Al-Midras and they said, `O Abu Al-Qasim! A man from us committed adultery with a woman, so decide on their matter.' They arranged a pillow for the Messenger of Allah and he sat on it and said,

(Bring the Tawrah to me.) He was brought the Tawrah and he removed the pillow from under him and placed the Tawrah on it, saying,

(I trust you and He Who revealed it to you.) He then said,

(Bring me your most knowledgeable person.) So he was brought a young man... '' and then he mentioned the rest of the story that Malik narrated from Nafi`. These Hadiths state that the Messenger of Allah issued a decision that conforms with the ruling in the Tawrah, not to honor the Jews in what they believe in, for the Jews were commanded to follow the Law of Muhammad only. Rather, the Prophet did this because Allah commanded him to do so. He asked them about the ruling of stoning in the Tawrah to make them admit to what the Tawrah contains and what they collaborated to hide, deny and exclude from implementing for all that time. They had to admit to what they did, although they did it while having knowledge of the correct ruling. What made them go to the Prophet for judgement in this matter was their lusts and desires, hoping that the Prophet would agree with their opinion, not that they believed in the correctness of his judgment. This is why they said,

[ ]

(If you are given this,) referring to flogging, then take it,

[ ]

(but if you are not given this, then beware!) and do not accept or implement it. Allah said next,

[ ]

(And whomsoever Allah wants to put in Fitnah, you can do nothing for him against Allah. Those are the ones whose hearts Allah does not want to purify; for them there is a disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great torment. They (like to) listen to falsehood, to devour Suht) `Suht' refers to bribes, as Ibn Mas`ud and others stated. The Ayah states that if one is like this, how can Allah cleanse his heart and accept his supplication Allah said to His Prophet ,

[ ]

(So if they come to you...) so that you judge between them,

[ ]

(either judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they cannot hurt you in the least.) meaning, there is no harm if you do not judge between them. This is because when they came to you to judge between them, they did not seek to follow the truth, but only what conformed to their lusts. We should mention here that Ibn `Abbas, Mujahid, `Ikrimah, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, As-Suddi, Zayd bin Aslam, `Ata' Al-Khurasani, and several others said that this part of the Ayah was abrogated by Allah's statement,

[ ]

(And so judge among them by what Allah has revealed.)

[ ]

(And if you judge, judge with justice between them.) and with fairness, even if the Jews were unjust and outcasts from the path of fairness,

[ ]

(Verily, Allah loves those who act justly.)

So note, the Jews hid the truth, they made up lies about the rule of stoning to the point where many other Jews had believed it to. So this just shows how they had been corrupting their book by hiding information and making things up. So who knows what else they hid, who knows what else they added, who knows what else they mis-interpreted with the Torah. This is just one case in which they were exposed and the truth was brought forth, but however so it is safe to say that there are many other lies and mis-interpretations in their book.

004.046

YUSUFALI: Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places, and say: "We hear and we disobey"; and "Hear what is not Heard"; and "Ra'ina"; with a twist of their tongues and a slander to Faith. If only they had said: "What hear and we obey"; and "Do hear"; and "Do look at us"; it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah hath cursed them for their Unbelief; and but few of them will believe.

How more clear can get it? They displace words from their right places. Here is the tafsir of this verse:

Allah states that the Jews, may Allah's continued curse fall on them until the Day of Resurrection, have purchased the wrong path instead of guidance, and ignored what Allah sent down to His Messenger Muhammad . They also ignored the knowledge that they inherited from previous Prophets, about the description of Muhammad , so that they may have a small amount of the delights of this life.

[ ]

(and wishing that you should go astray from the right path.) for they would like that you disbelieve in what was sent down to you, O believers, and that you abandon the guidance and beneficial knowledge that you have.

[ ]

(Allah has full knowledge of your enemies) meaning, Allah has better knowledge of your enemies, and He warns you against them.

[ ]

(and Allah is sufficient as a Wali (Protector), and Allah is Sufficient as a Helper) He is a Sufficient Protector for those who seek refuge with Him and a Sufficient Supporter for those who seek His help. Allah then said,

[ ]

(there are some who displace words from (their) right places) meaning, they intentionally and falsely alter the meanings of the Words of Allah and explain them in a different manner than what Allah meant,

[ ]

(And say: "We hear your word and disobey) saying, "We hear what you say, O Muhammad, but we do not obey you in it,'' as Mujahid and Ibn Zayd explained. This is the implied meaning of the Ayah, and it demonstrates the Jews' disbelief, stubbornness and disregard for Allah's Book after they understood it, all the while aware of the sin and punishment that this behavior will earn for them. Allah's statement,

[ ]

(And "Hear and let you hear nothing.'') means, hear our words, may you never hear anything, as Ad-Dahhak reported from Ibn `Abbas. This is the Jews' way of mocking and jesting, may Allah's curse descend on them.

[ ]

(And Ra`ina, with a twist of their tongues and as a mockery of the religion.) meaning, they pretend to say, `Hear us,' when they say, Ra`ina (an insult in Hebrew, but in Arabic it means `Listen to us.').' Yet, their true aim is to curse the Prophet . We mentioned this subject when we explained Allah's statement,

[ ]

(O you who believe! Say not Ra`ina but say Unzurna (make us understand)). Therefore, Allah said about them, while they pretend to say other than what they truly mean,

[ ]

(With a twist of their tongues and as a mockery of the religion) because of their cursing the Prophet . Allah then said,

[ ]

(And if only they had said: "We hear and obey'', and "Do make us understand,'' it would have been better for them, and more proper; but Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not except a few.) meaning, their hearts are cast away from the path of righteousness and therefore, no beneficial part of faith enters it. Earlier, when we explained,

[ ]

(so little is that which they believe) which means they do not have beneficial faith.

03.078

YUSUFALI: There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (As they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, "That is from Allah," but it is not from Allah: It is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it!

Alllah states that some Jews, may Allah's curses descend on them, distort Allah's Words with their tongues, change them from their appropriate places, and alter their intended meanings. They do this to deceive the ignorant people by making it appear that their words are in the Book of Allah. They attribute their own lies to Allah, even though they know that they have lied and invented falsehood. Therefore, Allah said,

[ ]

(and they speak a lie against Allah while they know it.)

Mujahid, Ash-Sha`bi, Al-Hasan, Qatadah and Ar-Rabi` bin Anas said that,

[ ]

(who distort the Book with their tongues,) means, "They alter them (Allah's Words).''

Al-Bukhari reported that Ibn `Abbas said that the Ayah means they alter and add although none among Allah's creation can remove the Words of Allah from His Books, they alter and distort their apparent meanings. Wahb bin Munabbih said, "The Tawrah and the Injil remain as Allah revealed them, and no letter in them was removed. However, the people misguide others by addition and false interpretation, relying on books that they wrote themselves. Then,

[ ]

(they say: "This is from Allah,'' but it is not from Allah;)

As for Allah's Books, they are still preserved and cannot be changed.'' Ibn Abi Hatim recorded this statement. However, if Wahb meant the books that are currently in the hands of the People of the Book, then we should state that there is no doubt that they altered, distorted, added to and deleted from them. For instance, the Arabic versions of these books contain tremendous error, many additions and deletions and enormous misinterpretation. Those who rendered these translations have incorrect comprehension in most, rather, all of these translations. If Wahb meant the Books of Allah that He has with Him, then indeed, these Books are preserved and were never changed.

So no, the Quran calls your book corrupt. So get it right.

He Wrote

That again is not what the Qur’an teaches, when it says: "People of the Book! ... stand fast by the Law, the Gospel and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord" (Surat 5:68). These words were written in the seventh century. Many old Bible manuscripts that are still in existence today are considerably older than that, yet they do not differ from today’s Bibles. One would expect Muslim teachers to state when the Bible was supposedly changed, by whom, and why; but they do not.

My Response

Actually yes it is what the Quran teaches, and your missionary tactics will not fool anyone.

Yes Christians and Jews are commanded to hold fast to the Gospel and Torah, the ORIGINAL ones, not the fake corrupted ones you have.

Secondly, to expose this lying missionary, if you truly hold fast to the Torah and Gospel then you come to Islam and believe in the Quran. So do not quote verses out of context and meanings. The fact you do not believe in Islam, or the Quran, shows that you do not even hold fast to those books!

It is like they choose to follow one teaching of the Quran, but ignore the rest, HOW CONVENIANT.

The Qur’an actually challenges Muslims: "If you were in doubt as to what we have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee" (Surat 10:94). Which Book? The Book given before the Qur'an. No man can honestly claim on the basis of the Qur'an that the Bible has been corrupted. It actually orders: "Ask those who possess the message" (Surat 21:7). Those were the Jews and Christians.

My Response

The verses tells you to ask those from before you, but no where does the verse say BELIEVE the answers they give you! Since it is recorded in the hadiths and tafsirs, that the Jews who did possess the Torah were liars who hid the truth.

Also, those very same Jews in medina knew that the prophet Muhammad was the one mentioned in their book, something they themselves knew and admitted! Yet they still continued to oppose the prophet Muhammad.

Here is the tafsir:

Previous books Attest to the Truth of the Qur'an

Allah said:

[????????? ???????????? ?????????? ?????????? ?????????? ??????? ??????????? ?????????? ????????? ??? ???????????? ????????????]

(Those who follow the Messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write whom they find written of with them in the Tawrah and the Injil.)(7:157) They are as certain of this as they are about who their children are, yet they hide it and distort it. They did not believe in it despite its clear evidence. Therefore Allah said:

[????? ????????? ??????? ?????????? ???????? ??????? ??? ??????????? - ?????? ??????????? ????? ?????? ?????? ???????? ?????????? ?????????? ]

(Truly, those, against whom the Word (wrath) of your Lord has been justified, will not believe. Even if every sign should come to them, until they see the painful torment.) meaning they would not believe in a way that they might benefit from that belief. This is when they believe at a time one may not be able to benefit from his belief. An example is when Musa prayed against Fir`awn and his chiefs, saying:

[???????? ??????? ????? ???????????? ????????? ????? ??????????? ????? ??????????? ?????? ???????? ?????????? ??????????]

(Our Lord! Destroy their wealth, and harden their hearts, so that they will not believe until they see the painful torment.)(10:88) And Allah said:

[?????? ???????? ?????????? ?????????? ?????????????? ????????????? ?????????? ??????????? ?????????? ????? ?????? ??????? ???? ???????? ????????????? ?????? ??? ??????? ??????? ?????????? ???????????? ??????????? ]

(And even if We had sent down unto them angels, and the dead had spoken unto them, and We had gathered together all things before their very eyes, they would not have believed, unless Allah willed, but most of them behave ignorantly.) (6:111) Allah then said:

[????????? ??????? ???????? ????????? ??????????? ??????????? ?????? ?????? ??????? ?????? ?????????? ????????? ???????? ??????? ???????? ??? ?????????? ?????????? ???????????????? ????? ????? ]

So note, the previous books such as the Torah and Gospel do attest to the truth found in the Quran, such as information on the prophet Muhammad, and the Jews themselves knew this:

Saffiyah says, "I was my father's and my uncle's favorite child. When the Messenger of Allah came to Madinah and stayed at Quba, my parents went to him at night and when they looked disconcerted and worn out. I received them cheerfully but to my surprise no one of them turned to me. They were so grieved that they did not feel my presence. I heard my uncle, Abu Yasir, saying to my father, 'Is it really him?' He said, 'Yes, by Allah'. My uncle said: 'Can you recognize him and confirm this?' He said, 'Yes'. My uncle said, 'How do you feel towards him?' He said, 'By Allah I shall be his enemy as long as I live.'" (Ibn Hisham, As-Sirah an-Nabawiyyah, vol. 2, pp. 257-258, Cited in Muhammad Fathi Mus'ad, The Wives of the Prophet Muhammad: Their Strives and Their Lives, p.162)

So Jews did recognize the fact that the prophet Muhammad was in their book, so if there was truthful Jew and you went and asked him, then yes, he would confirm that we Muslims and the prophet Muhammad are on the straight path which is confirmed by their own very books. But they are liars, and hide the truth, distort it and will not admit.

No one ever said the WHOLE Torah and Gospel have been corrupted, what we do say is some of it has.

Secondly, when you go and ask somebody something, it is not to really get an answer from them every time, sometimes you ask someone a question to simply expose them, this could also be the case here in being commanded to ask the people of the Book.

He Wrote

As we already noticed, the Qur’an explicitly states that the Gospel is the Word of God. And it also states categorically that "no man can change the Words of Allah" (Surat 10:64 and 6:34).

My Response

Indeed the Gospel is the word of God, so is the Torah, no one denies this so basically your building up a straw man.

Secondly, true, no one can ALTER and distort the TRUE original books revealed by God. What they can do is writer their own books, copy a lot of the truthful information, and with that add their own corrupted words and interpretations which is what Jews and Christians did. Which is also what we saw from the verses and tafsirs I had posted earlier. (scroll up)

But the Originals get passed into wrong hands, who simply hide it until it is eventually gone.
