Responding to Jochen Katz attempted response To Jesus mentioning the prophet Muhammad's coming in the Quran

By
Sami Zaatari

The boss of Answering Islam has attempted to respond to one of my short articles, his response can be found here:

http://answering-islam.org/Responses/Osama/zaatari_61_6.htm

He was responding to this short article of mine:

http://answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/surah_61_6.htm

I would like to thank Jochen for responding, since his attempts at trying to make me look bad, and make him look smart severely backfired against him, and this will now give me a great opportunity to show that even Jochen, who is the boss knows nothing about Islam nor knows anything about writing a real rebuttal just like his right hand man Sam Shamoun.

On 14 April 2006 Osama Abdallah, editor of the Muslim polemics website Answering Christianity, published a short article by Sami Zaatari making this amazing claim:

The purpose of this article is to simply quote a great verse from the Noble Quran, a verse that you will NEVER hear Christian missionaries bringing up, here is the great verse:

061.006
YUSUFALI: And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"

Basically this verse records Jesus telling his people about the prophet Muhammad, that the prophet Muhammad would come after him. You will never see any Christian missionary quote this verse, why? Because they are cowards, and liars, and are possessed by the devil which they believe to be the holy spirit. (Source <http://answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/surah_61_6.htm>)

As the reader will shortly see, this verse is more a problem for Muslims than it is for Christians. But I am getting ahead of myself. Before addressing this verse, I want to deal with Zaatari's claim that Christians are so frightened of its powerful message that they don't dare to even mention it. Is that really so?

My response to the above statements will consist of three short parts, with some supplemental material placed into an excursus and an appendix.

My Response

Indeed, do not get ahead of yourself yet, because I want to expose you really badly now, and I stand by what I said, Christian missionaries NEVER bring this verse up for some strange reason, why? Well we have to ask the missionaries about that now dont we?

The first claim of Zaatari's article is this:

The purpose of this article is to simply quote a great verse from the Noble Quran, a verse that you will NEVER hear Christian missionaries bringing up, ...

You will never see any Christian missionary quote this verse, why? Because they are cowards, ...

Nothing is easier to refute than this assertion. Let me begin by simply pointing to the article The Unintelligibility and Incompleteness of the Quran <../../Quran/Incoherence/unintelligible.html> which was published on Answering Islam on 8 August 2005. It bears the subtitle "The Journey By Night, Muhammad, Ahmad and Zaid". The second <../../Quran/Incoherence/unintelligible.html> section of this three part article begins with the statement, "Another

problem we face when dealing with the Quran has to do with the names Muhammad and Ahmad", and then continues with nearly two pages of discussion of a number of problems associated with this very verse that Christians allegedly never dare to mention.

Never say NEVER, Zaatari, particularly when you didn't make the slightest effort to "research" the truth of your bold claim.

My Response

Some friendly advice to you Jochen is that you stop trying to be smart, since it doesn't work, no offense meant. See, if someone read my article, they would understand my argument, my argument was that when Christian missionaries present Jesus in Islam, they always try to make him seem divine according to the Quran. They like to say Jesus did great miracles, that Jesus was the word of God, and a spirit from God, they always love bringing this up when discussing the Jesus in Islam. However so they hardly and NEVER bring up the verse that Jesus said that the prophet Muhammad would be coming after him.

Note, the link Jochen brings up is simply an article to attack the credibility of Islam, there is a difference when you bring this verse up to attack Islam, than when you bring this verse up to teach about the Jesus of Islam, now do you get it?

For example, in these articles on the Answering-Islam site, they bring up the Jesus of Islam, yet they DO NOT mention the verse of Jesus talking about the prophet Muhammad!

http://answering-islam.org/Shamoun/messiah.htm

If you read that long article by Shamoun, you will see he tries to show that Jesus is divine according to Islam, and he brings up Quranic verses discussing Jesus' miracles, and honorific titles, yet he doesn't bring up anything about Jesus talking about the comming of the prophet Muhammad!!! WHY?

You see Mr.Katz, you prove my point, when you bring up Jesus in Islam, in a comparative analysis etc, you NEVER mention Surah 61:6, the only time you ever bring up Surah 61:6 is when you want to ATTACK Islam, so there is a difference incase you don't get that. When it suits missionaries to quote about Jesus in Islam, to missionize Muslims, Christian missionaries will NEVER quote Surah 61:6 even Jochen knows this! And Jochen even knows that this is what I meant! Incase Jochen did not get my point, I will write it in big bold letter for him to understand:

When Christian missionaries missionazie on Muslims, the missionaries never quote Surah 6:16!

Yet, they quote the Verses on his miracles, his birth, his honorific titles, but never Surah 61:6.  When the missionaries discuss the topic "is Jesus God?", they love to use the Quran to show that Jesus is also divine in the Quran, yet, never quoting Surah 61:6.

Now do you get my point Jochen? You tried to be smart, yet you built an army of straw man against me! HOW NICE!

He Wrote

I put "research" into quotation marks because that is really too big a word for the simple task of putting "61:6" into the box on our search page <../../search.html> and pressing the button, "Start ‘Google Search’". Doing this search on our three mirror sites would have given you more than 50 different pages containing that reference.

Moreover, on 22 January 2006, i.e. less than three months before releasing Zaatari's claim on 14 April 2006, Osama Abdallah published his so-called Rebuttal to Sam Shamoun's "Was Muhammad the Last Messenger?" article in which he quotes Sam Shamoun as quoting and discussing S. 61:6! Here is Sam Shamoun's passage as quoted by Osama Abdallah:

The author of the Quran could have avoided all this confusion, thereby preventing individuals from using these references to support their claim, by simply inserting the name of Muhammad or by saying that Muhammad was the last messenger. In other words, the author could have written Sura 3:81 to say that a messenger is coming whose name is such and such, explicitly mentioning that messenger by name, much like the words he put into the mouth of Jesus:

And call to mind when Jesus, son of Mary, said, ‘O children of Israel, surely, I am ALLAH's Messenger unto you, fulfilling that which is before me of the prophecies of the Torah, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger who will come after me, his name being Ahmad. And when he came to them with clear proofs, they said, this is manifest sorcery.’ Sura 61:6

(Note: Even this passage’s meaning is debated since it is not certain whether this is giving the proper name of someone to come, or is simply giving a specific description of that person. For more on these points please read this article <../../Quran/Incoherence/unintelligible.html>. (Source <http://www.answering-christianity.com/last_messenger_rebuttal.htm>)

Your own website is proof that Sam Shamoun is quoting and discussing this verse in at least two articles. Talk about total embarrassment for both, the author Sami Zaatari and the editor Osama Abdallah.

My Response

Actually embarrassment is having a thug such as Sam Shamoun working for you, as we shall shortly see from his army of insults against the Answering-Christianity team, that my friend is embarrassing.

Now once again note, the article he quotes from, is an attack on the credibility of Islam, my point was that missionaries never bring up Surah 61:6 up when they missionize on Muslims when it deals with the topic of Jesus.

So I suggest that Jochen starts paying attention, and quit being smart, because it does not suit you. :)

With this, Zaatari's claim is fully refuted. But let's not get Zaatari off the hook so quickly. Now that we got started, let's examine the last two statements of Zaatari's article a bit closer, one by one.

You will never see any Christian missionary quote this verse, why?
Because they are cowards, and liars, and are possessed by the devil which they believe to be the holy spirit.

Two articles by Sam Shamoun were already mentioned, but are those the only articles by him, or is he the only Christian courageous enough to mention or discuss this verse? Far from it! On our website alone, Surah 61:6 is mentioned in a host of articles written by many different authors:

These are only some of the articles found on one Christian website. I neither searched other Christian websites, nor have I opened yet any of the Christian books on Islam that are in my library. As substantial as our website already is, it comprises only a small part of what Christians have been writing about Islam.

Let's review Zaatari's statement again:

You will never see any Christian missionary quote this verse, why?
Because they are cowards, and liars, and are possessed by the devil which they believe to be the holy spirit.

Despite this devastating verdict by one of Islam's greatest experts on the history and psychology of Christian missionaries, it seems that there are, after all, quite a few courageous and honest Christian missionaries around.

And, not to forget, these above listed pages are taken only from the English section of our website, but Surah 61:6 is also quoted in our other language sections, e.g.

Just in case all of this does not count for Zaatari until there are not at least a hundred such articles, let's continue counting up even more pages that refer to this verse: books and articles by Rev. Tisdall (72

Let's repeat it:

You will never see any Christian missionary quote this verse, why?
Because they are cowards, and liars, and are possessed by the devil which they believe to be the holy spirit.

Taking it as a given that Zaatari is always correct, what have we just proven? None of all these people are Christian missionaries!

Enough of that Zaatarian silliness. At the very least, I hope that Zaatari will now study diligently what all those courageous Christians have written about this fearsome verse. In any case, whether Zaatari will care to do so or not, I will give my personal view on it.

My Response

Are those links missionizing links? I THINK NOT, so you have still yet to refute my point, missionaries will never bring up Surah 61:6 when they missionize on Muslims, even this missionary Jochen Katz knows this! So no Jochen, enough with YOUR silliness in attacking straw man, and trying to be smart, quit acting like a kid and grow up.

2. The Real Problem with S. 61:6

Frankly, I don't know of any Christian who sees a reason to hide that verse or to cover it up. I was certainly never warned of that verse by anyone. In fact, why would Christians be afraid to discuss a verse that should be a major embarrassment to thinking Muslims?

My Response

The reason why missionaries are afraid to quote this verse, including yourself, is because it completely crushes your missionizing attempts at trying to make the Jesus of Islam look like something he is not, such as being divine, and some Christian missionaries go as far as claiming that Jesus is God according to the Quran!

As for the verse being an embarrassment, I see no reason to why it is, but if you want embarrising verses, then we should go no further than your un-holy Bible:

Malachi 2 1 And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. 3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it

Ezekiel 4:9-12:

9 Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof. 10 And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it. 11 Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink. 12 And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight

Job 20:7

7 Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?

The embarrsment does not stop there, Jochens very own God's familly lineage is a result of incest:

Here is the story

Genesis 38:

1 And it came to pass at that time, that Judah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamite, whose name was Hirah. 2 And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite, whose name was Shuah; and he took her, and went in unto her. 3 And she conceived, and bare a son; and he called his name Er. 4 And she conceived again, and bare a son; and she called his name Onan. 5 And she yet again conceived, and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bare him. 6 And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar. 7 And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him. 8 And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother. 9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. 10 And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also. 11 Then said Judah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at thy father's house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father's house.

12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah's wife died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite. 13 And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep. 14 And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife. 15 When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face. 16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me? 17 And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it? 18 And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him. 19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood. 20 And Judah sent the kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman's hand: but he found her not. 21 Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the way side? And they said, There was no harlot in this place. 22 And he returned to Judah, and said, I cannot find her; and also the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place. 23 And Judah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and thou hast not found her.

24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt. 25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff. 26 And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I; because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more. 27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. 28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first. 29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez. 30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.

The two kids can be found in the lineage of Jesus:

Matthew 1:

1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; 3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; 7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; 8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; 9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; 10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; 11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: 12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; 13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor; 14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud; 15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

Talk about embarrassing! If the Quranic verses of Jesus talking about the prophet Muhammad is embarrassing, then Jochen will have to admit these verses are 10 times more embarrassing. If he does not, then we all are witnesses to see that Jochen is not objective, and that he is a hypocrite. So who is embarrassed now friend?

He Wrote

After presenting undeniable proof that there are more than a hundred articles on our website that reference or quote Surah 61:6, some of them even discussing it in detail, everyone must admit that Zaatari's claim was utterly wrong. It was a statement void of any relationship to reality.

My Response

Are any of those articles missionizing articles? Or are they simple attacks against the credibility of Islam? Again, no Christian missionary brings this verse up when missionizing on Muslims, this missionary Jochen knows this as well.

He Wrote

I cannot imagine that Zaatari is not duly embarrassed and ashamed for making such an obviously false claim, i.e. for making this claim without first verifying its correctness, or rather, in this case, falsifying the claim that he wanted to make, and then abandoning the project after seeing that his idea was wrong.

My Response

Your rants are getting quite old now, so why don't you try refuting me now and deal with the subject, rather than trying to play games and make me look bad because its not working, you just made yourself look bad for building up straw man. SO GET TO THE TOPIC. Or do you need to spend hours writing useless nonsense to simply make your article look longer? As I say, the longer the article, the more credibility it gets, that's Answering-Islam's motto.

He Wrote

And for the very same reason that Zaatari should be embarrassed for making such an obviously wrong claim, thinking Muslims should be embarrassed about Surah 61:6.

Let's look at the verse:

And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!" S. 61:6 Yusuf Ali

The problem with the verse is that Jesus never made this prediction. Muhammad made it up.

My Response

Straw man attack, whether Jesus made this comment or not is IRRELEVANT, this shows that you never paid attention, if you carefully read my article, my sole purpose of the article was to simply show that Christian missionaries never bring this verse up when missionizing on Muslims!!!!!

You believe Jesus never said this, I believe he did. This is a different debate now, and has NOTHING to do with my initial article, so thank you for showing the public how silly you are, and how just like your right hand man Shamoun, you cannot address anything but simply build straw man, maybe you friend Quennal gale learned his army of straw man attacks from you!

Jochen then goes on a barrage of straw man which has nothing to do with my article, so I will not be posting his rubbish nonsense, maybe with your own readers you can fool them into your straw mans and mis-quotations, but not here. :)

Let us now proceed to Jochens analysis of personal problems between me and Shamoun and some other people.

He Wrote

With the above, all is said that needs to be said in regard to clarifying the facts. However, since Zaatari is hardly ever satisfied by talking about facts alone, but loves to get "personal", I am going to take the occasion and pick on some of those issues as well. A quick review of recent history may be helpful here.

Although he has been quite industrious over the last eight months, Sami Zaatari burst on the scene of "interreligious dialogue" only in September 2005 (with a first set of "rebuttals" published on 09/22/2005 <http://answering-christianity.com/whatsnew.htm>). In our opinion, he has a strong emphasis on quantity over quality — to put it mildly! His article on Surah 61:6 provided certainly no reason to change that opinion.

My Response

Your straw man on my article on Surah 61:6 clearly proves that it is in fact you and your missionary friends on your site who provide no quality, just large amounts of nonsense!

As for me always going personal, we shall see to this, since it was Jochens right hand man Shamoun who first personally insulted me, no worries, I shall be posting ALL of Shamoun's insults against me, Bassam, and Osama, then we will see who really gets personal and who should be embarrassed.

He Wrote

Since he has released at least 140 articles in seven months, nobody is going to question his ability to produce quantity.

Given our limited manpower, and the great number of Muslim polemicists on the internet, we have to choose carefully what we can reply to. What arguments seem to be the strongest, or most important, or most influential? We have ignored most of Zaatari's writings because, in our opinion, they amount to very little. Responding to his writings one by one — merely to match his quantity — would result in wasting an unacceptable amount of precious time. It would be an irresponsible use of our small resources.

My Response

This is a nice way of saving face, the fact you guys do not reply is not because you feel my work is weak, it is because you CANNOT reply, that is the simple fact. Shamoun tried to reply to two papers of mine to which I easily responded:

http://answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/counter_rebuttal_to_sam_shamoun_1.htm

http://answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/counter_rebuttal_to_shamoun_2.htm

In fact, forget all my papers, forget all my rebuttals, me and Shamoun had a great debate recently on the topic 'Is Jesus God', a clear and easy victory for me. The debate can be found at the top of this page:

http://answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/index.html

I urge all readers to listen to the debate, and see how bad Shamoun did, that he had to start personally insulting me, and Osama who was not even a part of the debate!

He Wrote

Not surprisingly, he has taken that silence as evidence for our inability, making statements like:

As most of you already know, I have been currently refuting missionary Sam Shamoun of the Answering Islam team. I currently have 41 rebuttals out to him, him on the other hand has zero responses to me. ... It has been over 2 months now since my rebuttals to him have appeared, .... Well it seems Sam Shamoun cannot respond, the missionary has been finally shut down by my rebuttals and he very well knows it, this is exactly why he is not responding, because he very well knows that I will crush his responses to me just like I did his articles. It is safe to say the missionary has been defeated, ... I will keep waiting to see if Shamoun ever has the guts to respond to me, ... I think all the readers can safely say Shamoun is a coward, ... (Sami Zaatari, The missionary has gone silent <http://www.answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/examining_sam_shamoun_3.htm>, 26 November 2005; underline emphasis mine)

We trust that occasional responses to some of his articles (here <index.htm>) will give careful readers sufficient insight into the value of his arguments, thus approaching all of them with a healthy dose of scepticism.

My Response

You see, this lie is easy to respond to, Jochen claimed that I have wrote a lot of articles, and to simply respond to each one would be to many, yes that may seem fair. However so, brother Bassam Zawadi has written many many more articles than me! Yet Shamoun never has a problem with replying to them time and time again! So this refutes the sad lie of Jochen of why they don't respond to me, because my work is to much!

He then goes on another nonsense rant before writing:

On what basis does Zaatari consider it justified to extrapolate from his personal ignorance to all Christians or Christian missionaries? How many of them has he really met in these few months, or even in his life, to make such sweeping accusations? In any case, a wise man said: "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." (Proverbs 16:18)

I want you to go get me a missionary video, or paper or anything you can, of missionaries missionizing to Muslims and bring this verse up. I shall be waiting.

He Wrote

3. The Punch Line

What really was the main purpose of Zaatari's article? I think that purpose is found in his bottom line. Let's therefore look once again at the conclusion of Zaatari's article, with an added bold emphasis:

You will never see any Christian missionary quote this verse, why?
Because they are cowards, and liars, and are possessed by the devil which they believe to be the holy spirit.

This is an insult to all Christians, particularly all Christian missionaries, against whom this Muslim missionary has declared war. It is extremely offensive, and clearly intended to offend. However, it backfires — badly. Such insults only disqualify the person who makes them.

My Response

If you got offended, then go become abit more emotionally stronger to take heat from your Muslim counter parts, you never care about what is written on your site, and I can tell you a lot of offensive things about Islam have been written on your site, so you my friend are the last to complain about feeling offended etc.

Secondly, you prove you are possessed by a demon spirit! Note this missionary never has a problem when his writes insult and mock Islam, yet when someone says something that seems offensive to him he gets all mad and sad and starts complaining!

Thirdly, it is you missionaries who declared war on Muslims with your site, and with your fellow missionaries who constantly mock and attack Islam, I simply came in and put all of you in your places, if you feel offended, that's to bad.

Fourthly, note what I said, I said they are possessed by a demon spirit which they BELIEVE to be the holy spirit, hence this isn't an attack on the holy spirit, so read carefully before you want to enter a straw man as you will shortly be doing. It is you who believes the demon in you is the holy spirit, you are wrong, you have nothing holy inside you, so hence I am not attacking any holy spirit but the lying satanic spirit which you make a false claim to by calling it holy!

Fifthly, how does this dis-qualify me? I have no idea. In fact go listen to my debate with Shamoun, where Shamoun hurls out some of the most insulting insults on the prophet etc. So therefore using your logic, Shamoun is also disqualified! NICE ONE JOCHEN.

Now stop crying me a river, stop playing a victim, if you get offended take it, you dont mind offending others so why complain? This very characteristic in you proves you have a satanic spirit in you!

He Wrote

Though Zaatari claimed that the "purpose of this article is to simply quote a great verse from the Noble Quran", the message of his article is clearly not a verse, neither this verse or any verse. He did not "simply quote it", but added derogatory comments against Christians before it and after it, statements which have no direct relationship to that verse, statements that have no bearing on the value or meaning of this verse, but have the sole aim to insult Christians. He did not simply want to share a verse with a supposedly amazing message, he mainly used that verse as a welcome pretext for insulting those people whom he hates so much

My Response

Note how this missionary is starting to cry, and starts crying I hate Christians!

To correct this lie, I have many Christian friends, so that refutes your lie. Secondly, again, you dont mind offending Muslims or insulting Islam, so using your logic this makes you a hater as well, but see folks, Jochen Katz is exposing the sick missionary mentality. This mentality is that Christian missionaries have a free right to say whatever they feel on Islam etc, yet Muslims cannot do the same, and if Muslims do do the same thing it makes us haters!

As for me hating people, let us quote your right hand man Shamoun, then let us talk about hate, folks I will be quoting from an article which I added months back, in which I saved emails of Shamoun slurs and personal insults on me, and my mother! Here they are:

Hey queer boy. I just got svyat to save your exchanges with her, the one about her going to hell. So thank you for that loser since now I am going to nail you. You whine about people exposing you but have no problem doing the same. Wow, how much like Muhammad you really are.

So sissy does this mean you will be a man and come on tonight where I will also get Gomer in there so you stop trying to use Christians like me to defend you? I am saving this email because I want you to post this in its entirety since the readers will see that you follow Muhammad's example. If you don't post ALL OF IT then I will further humiliate you. Wow, what an idiot you are.

Make sure this appears on the site that you use Christians to save you, then slander them, and then complain when they expose you and your false prophet.

Again, THANK YOU FOR THOSE EXCHANGES AND FOR THIS EMAIL. You are a loser as we have all come to know on Palltalk. Ok mythomaniac sissy, make sure to get out of mommy's skirt and come in the room tonight. Looking forward to cremating you. Love ya!

Talk about hate! Jochen this thug is Sam Shamoun! One of your premier writers!!!! Now who is embarrassed? Please tell me, I would love to know.

So Jochen, really, who is the one who hates? Us or you missionary thugs on Answering-Islam who give out such insulting slurs as I just showed. In fact this isn't the only insult Shamoun gave to me or other writers on this site! I will show the other insults as the article goes by.

Or oh wait, that's the missionary love now isn't it Jochen? Who is embarresed now?

He Wrote

The Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is God, and God's personal presence in all true believers. Therefore, calling the Holy Spirit the devil is not a personal insult limited to some specific Christians with whom Zaatari is annoyed, but an utterly blasphemous statement insulting all and every Christian. It is a deliberate provocation that has the purpose of shocking Christians and making them angry.

My Response

Note the straw man and double standard. The straw man is that I said you BELIEVE this satanic spirit is the holy spirit, you are wrong! So I never insulted any holy spirit, I do not believe you have any holy spirit but a satanic spirit which call a holy spirit, you are the one insulting your holy spirit not me.

Now secondly, note the double standard, when Jochen and his buddies at Answering-Islam insult Allah and the prophet Muhammad it is perfectly okay, yet when I seem to insult their God, they go all mad and shout foul play! HILARIOUS! Jochen you just proved you and most Christians are mentally unstable so thank you.

Get shocked, Get annoyed, who cares? If the truth hurts, then do not read it, You choose to read it, so quit crying.

Now let us turn the table on Jochen, his site has carried many many slurs on Allah:

The Biblical and historical evidence shows that the Moabites worshiped Baal. The pre-Islamic and Muslim sources show (a) that the Meccans took over the idol Hubal from the Moabites and (b) that Allah and Hubal are actually identical(http://answering-islam.org/Shamoun/ishmael-baal.htm)

In conclusion, the evidence from the Quran demonstrates that Allah is unaware of many things, and is unable to recall events accurately. His knowledge of both past and future events is incomplete, and often needs to take guesses(http://answering-islam.org/Shamoun/allahs_ignorance.htm)

These are jus a few blasphemous claims found on the Answering-Islam site among many others. So mr Katz, why do you have no problems when your site makes blasphemous claims against my God etc? What will you say? Will you say oh well your God is fake etc and I am wrong, I could say the same about you. Or will you say you prove your statements, I could also say the same thing that I proved my statements! So hence Jochen has just exposed himself as a hypocrite, and a typical missionary, and your latest actions prove that you are indeed possessed by a satanic spirit which you call the holy spirit, I STAND BY MY COMMENTS. If you get angry, that's to bad now isn't it?

He Wrote

Note that Zaatari does not argue that these Christians are cowards, liars and demon-possessed because they are not quoting that verse. That would have been "giving a reason for his conclusion", even though a rather ridiculous one. [One only needs to slightly rephrase it to see how silly such an argument would be: Is Zaatari a coward, a liar and demon-possessed because there are still thousands of Bible verses he has so far not quoted in his articles? Actually, there are plenty of Qur'an verses that Zaatari has not quoted yet either. Which conclusion should we draw based on that fact?] No, his implication is phrased the other way around.

The insult that Christians are cowards and liars and being possessed by the devil is used as if it is a fact that needs no evidence. Logically speaking, it is not his conclusion, it is his starting point.

My Response

Actually the fact you missionaries never quote the verse while missionizing proves my point, so you are wrong. Secondly, your latest actions prove my point as well. Your living proof of my claim! You like to criticize other faiths, yet when your faith gets criticized you start crying foul play. Thirdly, you once again prove you have a satanic spirit in you, note what Katz said:

The insult that Christians are cowards and liars

It would have been more correct of you if you had stated CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES, my article was addressed to missionaries! Everyone could see this, now Jochen is making it out that I was calling normal Christians cowards etc. What a deceiver indeed, wouldn't you say? Thank you for proving you do have a satanic spirit in you.

He Wrote

This is not an isolated personal insult against one particular Christian, it is a deliberate insult and offense to all Christians, trying to stab the center of our faith and religious feelings.

My Response

And? What do you want me to do? apologize? No thank you, you dont mind when you and your friends offend all Muslims, so quit crying, you are really making yourself look bad. This clearly shows that missionaries are mentally unstable.

He Wrote

his review of a recent debate between Sam Shamoun and Sami Zaatari, the latter writes:

VICTORY FOR ISLAM! another defeat for the satanic cult of Christianity as proven by Shamoun with his insulting and satanic behavior at the end of the debate due to his inspiration by the satanic spirit which he wrongly calls the holy spirit. AMEEN! (Source <http://answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/shamoun_debate_review_2.htm>, bold emphasis mine)

As this debate was rather emotionally charged, the personal insult against his opponent is not much of a surprise, but the boldened part is an unsubstantiated attack and deliberate insult against all Christians and Christianity in general. In any case, his page on S. 61:6 is not part of a debate or a reply to another article. It is initiating a new topic.

My Response

How funny, Jochen forgets that Shamoun FIRST ATTACKED ISLAM, so get it right! In fact the ending of the debate completely exposed Shamoun and proved he has a satanic spirit in him. Shamoun called me and Osama:

FILTHY

PERVERTS

COWARDS

these were some of the personal insults he hurled on us. Not only that, he called the prophet Muhammad's parents demons! And claimed the prophet Muhammad used to be drunk when reciting the Quran, strange how Jochen ignores this, tell Jochen, what do you think of these major insults on my faith? Is it okay? You have a problem when I seem to insult your faith, yet you don't mind when my faith is insulted, a clear proof that you have a satanic spirit in you.

Also as for me calling Christianity a satanic cult, I stand by what I said, you and Shamoun's actions clearly prove it, whether you find this offensive or not does not matter.

He Wrote

As Christians we can wear Zaatari's false accusation with great honor. The enemies of Jesus also said he had demons.

22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebub! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons."

23 So Jesus called them and spoke to them in parables: "How can Satan drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. 27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man. Then he can rob his house.

28 I tell you the truth, all the sins and blasphemies of men will be forgiven them. 29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin." 30 He said this because they were saying, "He has an evil spirit." (Mark 3:22-30)

Did Zaatari already go too far? He certainly is walking a dangerous line. I hope he will take this as a warning before it is too late. God will not be mocked.

My Response

Am I supposed to be scared now? Should I be shivering in my pants now mr.Katz? I agree with Katz though, God shall not be mocked, so Katz and his missionary friends should stop making blasphemy and calling Jesus God, they should stop calling God a trinity, such blasphemy and mocking of God shall not be accepted. So it is Katz who should be careful, not me, he is the one who mocks God everyday with his filthy site.

Therefore I also hope Katz takes his own warning, and stop making lies against Allah, before it is to late and he is thrown into the hell fire, and what a terrible place to go.

He Wrote

Yet, in the end, this is not about Zaatari. He merely follows his role model. Muhammad used to ridicule and insult those who disagreed with him and opposed his message (cf. this article), and many of those who dared to mock him eventually paid with their lives (cf. this section). Moreover, Muhammad forever enshrined the justification for further insults in his revelation:

Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. Sura 98:6

The worst of anything God ever created, worse than the unclean swine or dogs, worse than poisonous snakes, or, in modern terminology, worse than the AIDS virus or all kinds of parasites, e.g. the trichina worm, that eats you up from the inside, so to speak, with all kinds of nasty side effects. Worse than anything despicable that you can imagine. Even worse than Satan himself and his demonic forces. Unbelievers — and note that the People of the Book (i.e. Jews and Christians) are mentioned first here — are worse than that. (For more on this issue, cf. Unbelievers).

Given this Quranic background, who would really be surprised to see Zaatari summarily insult all Christians?

My Response

Katz is now guilty of appealing to emotion, which is a fallacy in argumentation. Indeed the disbelievers from the people of the book are the worst, you disbelieve in God! He has more right to you than your parents, he created you and your so ungrateful you cannot even obey him and follow his commands! Who are you to argue against what God calls your mr.Katz? Your a nobody compared to God mr.Katz, just a lying kaffir, and hell-fire awaits you and your kind, if this sounds offensive to bad, this is the truth and I am not ashamed of it nor will I ever be.

Also an intresting point, Katz says:

worse than the unclean swine

If swine is so unclean as you said, why do most Christian eat such filthy unclean food? So in the words of mr.Katz, Christians eat unclean food which is the pig. :)

Before writing some more red-herrings he writes:

In summary:

Regarding the 61:6 claims — i.e. the claims made by Zaatari about S. 61:6, and the claim found in 61:6 itself:
Just as Muhammad, Zaatari is completely convinced of himself.
But just as Zaatari, Muhammad was completely wrong.

Regarding the insults:
Just as Muhammad, Zaatari thinks it is perfectly alright to denigrate and insult those who dare to disagree with him.
But just as Zaatari, Muhammad only disqualified and exposed himself by doing so.

Let me no further embarrass Katz, and show why him and his friends don't respond to me.

Katz says:

Just as Muhammad, Zaatari thinks it is perfectly alright to denigrate and insult those who dare to disagree with him.But just as Zaatari, Muhammad only disqualified and exposed himself by doing so.

So note, according to Katz, to insult and denigrate a person who disagrees with you is disqualifies themselves, mr Katz just disqualified his own writer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, Katz just disqualified Sam Shamoun! Here are Sam's other slurs on me and other writers on this site:

So note how many insults this thug Shamoun has let out! So as Katz said, if you insult and so on you disqualify yourself, so mr.katz:

MR KATZ WILL YOU NOW RELEASE SAM SHAMOUN FROM YOUR WEBSITE? SINCE YOU YOURSELR STATED IF SOMEONE INSULTS THEY DIS-QUALIFY THEMSELVES, I JUST SHOWED YOU SEVERAL SICK INSULTS BY SAM SHAMOUN, THEREFORE USING YOUR LOGIC SHAMOUN DISQUALIFIED HIMSELF, SO THEREFORE YOU MUST RELEASE HIM FROM YOUR SITE. IF YOU DO NOT RELEASE HIM FROM YOUR SITE, THEN WE SHALL ALL BEAR WITNESS THAT YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE, AND A TWO-FACED LYING MISSIONARY, HERE ARE YOUR OWN WORDS AGAIN:

Just as Muhammad, Zaatari thinks it is perfectly alright to denigrate and insult those who dare to disagree with him.But just as Zaatari, Muhammad only disqualified and exposed himself by doing so.

SO MR KATZ WILL YOU NOW DISQUALIFY SHAMOUN FROM YOUR SITE? THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT.

However so, the problems for Katz does not end there! Katz has now disqualified Jesus and Paul! Both Jesus and Paul used to insult the disbelievers:

"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are. Woe to you, blind guides! You say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? You also say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on it, he is bound by his oath.’ You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. And he who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven swears by God's throne and by the one who sits on it. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness." Matthew 23:13-28

Apostle Peter:

"But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish ... They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity - for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him ... Of them the proverbs are true: ‘A dog returns to its vomit,’ and, ‘A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud.’" 2 Peter 2:12, 19, 22

So Jochen Katz has just disqualified his own God, and Peter the disciple, thank you very much Katz, I couldn't ask for more.

Jochen Katz then ends his article with an appendix, he basically shows me calling some of his fellow authors as being fools, stupid, liars etc etc. Anyone who reads my papers know that everytime I call someone a liar, or a fool, or any other name, I always prove my claim! So there is a difference between insulting someone for fun or when you call them for what they are, like you mr.Katz are pathetic for your double-standards, this is not an insult, this is the truth.

CONCLUSION

It is obvious that Mr.Katz so called response was nothing more than a paper he wrote out of frustration and anger at me, all he did in this article of his was whine and cry foul play, but I am not his mother, or his wife, so he should go cry on their shoulders, not come online and waste all of our time by writing a long paper filled with nonsense of him crying and playing like a victim. Jochen Katz caused severe problems for himself, he dis-qualified his premier writer Sam Shamoun and we shall see if Katz fires Shamoun or not, Katz also disqualified his own God and the disciple Peter, so Katz has dug a big hole for himself.
