Title: Staying healthy during ramadan
Post by: Abdullah Tahmeed on June 19, 2015, 06:52:19 AM
I am physically not that strong. And I usually suffer from diseases.  We have to fast for 13 hours here. How can i stay 100% fit and healthy?? I don't want to become weak as that will hamper my studies. What should i eat?? And is there any medicine that can give me some fat and glucose sufficient for 13 hours??

Brother you said you are physically weak. Do you mean you are sick? If you are sick and you have trouble fasting or you think fasting will make you more sick and ill then don't fast.

The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. ( Quran 2:185 )

You can read the articles/Fatwas below, They are about fasting for sick/ill people.
