Title: Is Greek inscription of 666 has something to do with "in the name of Allah" ?
Post by: Idris on November 29, 2015, 10:04:35 PM
Salam Aleykoum,

does anyone have seen those initials before ? How to explain it ? It sounds stupid but I need some detail rebuttal for such kind of argument.

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear brother,

This writing literally came 1000 years after the original one.  The original ones says XIC, and not Χ ξ ς:

X I C
These letters in Greek are: chi, iota, stigma.

also, they just refute their own greek fairy tale. where they say Allh = 60.
Nothing to do with 666.

also Christians use serpent to prove their faith is of truth. lets use emphasis like in picture above also Christians use serpent (satan) to prove their faith is of truth

Quote
And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18)

Salam Aleykoum,

may Allah bless you for such response dear brother Osama, and brother Submit :)
I've heard also that the experts of the ancient manuscripts proves that eg. The Codex Alexandrinus has 616 instead of 666 ! There is even also another variant of that symbolic number, but I don't remeber exactly.

Jazakum'Allah khayran my brothers :)

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother Idris,

I have updated your post above, and linked your image to: www.answering-christianity.com/l7OiQTs.jpg.  Notice in my image above, I included all of our 3 (you, brother Submit, and myself) responses to it.  This way, if the infidels try to google the name of the image, then insha'Allah, they'll run into this one right in their face!

I also updated the following article with this thread's link:  www.answering-christianity.com/666.htm

Jazaka Allah Khayr for all of your research, akhi.  And may Allah Almighty bless brother Submit too for his hard work.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
