Yusuf Ali has a very good traslation, trust me you would want to continue with him, IF there are errors I would recommend pickthall or dr. shakir.

Well you won't find one perfect translation, as mistakes are part of humanity. I do recommend reading multiple interpretations of one verse.

Yeah. What TIOOG said is 100% true.

As-Salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh akhi,
First of all, I would like to say that there is no such thing as a translation of the Glorious Qur'an. The Glorious Qur'an is a miracle and cannot be translated. It can be interpreted or explained. That's why some interpreters of the Glorious Qur'an use the term 'Translation of the Meanings of the Glorious Qur'an' instead of translation. As for the rest, what There is only One God said was perfect.

Peace Be Upon You,
Personally I do my own translations by comparing all translations and choosing the nearer one to the Quran meanings but recently I came across a new translation that is really good for Ahmad Zaki Hammad , unfortunately I could n't find any online version but I buy it online through the original website and they are effecient in delivering it.
