salam alikum brothers and sister
Quran 21:30:
Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

as you can see the verse says the earth and heavens was created together and not that the earth was created 9 billion years later as science says can some one response to this?

thank you

Hadiths & Sunna, and Prophet Muhammad's Person / women are captives??????
« on: December 28, 2013, 02:36:13 AM »
what is the meaning of the hadith are women captives to mean according to word Awan in the hadith

'Amr bin Al-Ahwas Al-Jushami (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that he had heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying on his Farewell Pilgrimage, after praising and glorifying Allah and admonishing people, "Treat women kindly, they are like captives in your hands; you do not owe anything else from them. In case they are guilty of open indecency, then do not share their beds and beat them lightly but if they return to obedience, do not have recourse to anything else against them. You have rights over your wives and they have their rights over you. Your right is that they shall not permit anyone you dislike to enter your home, and their right is that you should treat them well in the matter of food and clothing".

« on: December 25, 2013, 02:53:44 AM »
Salam alikum brother i'm on debate with a christian guy and he came up with these so called bible prophecies:

this is what he said:
("HEre are some from old testament and fulfilled in new testament
1. Mt. 1:22-23 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"
UPDATE these are the rest of his argument

and they will call him Immanue which means, "God with us." (Lk. 1:26-35)
Lk. 2:11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
HE will b called Immanuel(god with us)
Isaiah. 7:14 The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
2 Matthew 1:23 "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"

Do the words of Allah, “And full-breasted maidens of equal age (wa kawaa‘ib atraaban)” describe the breasts of al-hoor al-‘iyn?
ar
I have a question which has been bothering me a little bit on my view of Islam, regarding Surat 78 verse 32-33. In English translation it says: (32) Gardens enclosed and vineyards, (33) And full-breasted'' maidens of equal age.
What does this verse mean exactly?
Does it literally mean that people in paradise will be given women with good looking breast?
Doesn't feel good reading it in a religious script.
I don't see why it has to be said anyway,it already says in the quran that men will get married with good looking wives . Whats the point of pointing out the look of the women's breast in paradise?

please answer me the word kawaa'ib has been bothering me for a while how can the Quran mention full breasted women how can the word of god contains such words i also heard i actually mean companions is that current please answer me
