There's nothing wrong in loving the Prophet of Allah (may Almighty Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace). On the contrary, he (SAW) said that your faith will be complete when you love him (SAW) more than all other people. The innovation is to make these occasions, even if thry were religious gatherings. Prophet Muhammad's (may Almighty Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace) family and friends loved him more than any of us and all of us do, but they did such absurd things to prove their love to him. Of course, nobody's saying it's wrong to send your prayers on him in abundance that day, but the thing is many people make occasions like gatherings to read the Glorious Qur'an and what not. Yes, it might be a good thing to do, but it is a Bid`a (innovation) and we must keep away from them as much as possible.
You see brother, when people switch the perfect teachings of Islam that were ordained by Almighty Allah and His Noble Messengers (may Almighty Allah bless them and grant them peace) by their own ideas, you cannot legitimately call them Muslims. Islam (nowadays regarded as Sunni Islam) is the perfect, unchanged form of Islam.

As-Salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
It is an innovation in religion and every innovation, as the Holy Prophet of Allah (may Almigthy Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace) said, is rejected by Muslims and is in Hell. That's why Sunni's detest sects like Shiism, Sufiism, etc.

Actually none of us are originally Arabs. The original Arabs are `Ad and Thamud only. The rest became Arabs later on. You can look it up. Anyway, you have a point.

As-Salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,
By the way, there is a miracle in that Hadith brother Zulfiqar. They discovered that exactly on the second it becomes the 40th day, the baby gets a soul and becomes alive, just as the Messenger of Almighty Allah (may Almighty Allah bless him and grant him peace) said. Before that, the baby was a mere lifeless embreyo. Subhan Allah Wa Bihamdihi, Subhan Allah Al-`Azeem.

No, there is a Da`if Hadith which says being an Arab is in the tongue, meaning an Arab is one who knows Arabic.

It neither says backbone nor spine. They mistranslated the verse. Look at what I answered somebody when he told me this.
This is from Suratut-Tariq, verse 7.
"Regarding the first one, the 'sulb' is for the male, and the 'tra'ib' are for the women as stated in Ibn Khathir's explanation of the meanings of the Noble Qur'an. The same way 'penis' can only be for a male, 'tra'ib' can only be used for the female sex. Although the word 'sulb' could be translated to mean backbone, it can also be translated to mean loins, and in this case it means loins. This is made obvious as it is also used elsewhere in the Noble Qur'an, for example in Surat An Nisa', verse number 23: "...And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins..." The Arabic word used was 'aslab', the plural of 'sulb', and as we can see it has been translated into the word loins, not backbone. Even in the Bible the word 'sulb' is used: "5وَكَانَتْ جَمِيعُ نُفُوسِ الْخَارِجِينَ مِنْ صُلْبِ يَعْقُوبَ سَبْعِينَ نَفْسًا. وَلكِنْ يُوسُفُ كَانَ فِي مِصْرَ". (Exodus 1:5)
If you read the American standard version of the Bible, it states: "And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: and Joseph was in Egypt already." (Exodus 1:5)
Even here, the word 'sulb' is translated to mean loins.
Now, as we all know, the male emits sperm. However, the sperm alone cannot reach the female itself as it needs to transport help from the semen. Similarly, the female has the egg, but the egg too needs the help of the fluid to pass through the uterus and the fallopian tube. As we can see, there is no scientific mistake here, but on the contrary a scientific miracle, as this was only discovered very recently with modern science."
