GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Re: correcting a Misconception
« on: January 22, 2013, 07:24:03 AM »
Peace
I am very proud to be arabic, but i do not look down at other races. egyptian are morrocans are my fellow arabs, (with egyptians mixed with some nubian-coptic blood and morrocans with berber blood, but theyre still arabs because they also have arabic blood and trace part of there origin to an arab tribe, the other half to the pharoahs and berbers respectively) One of my best friend is Pakistani, another is indian, i personally dont know any bengalis currently but i have nothing against them.
Some people say that arabic is the best language because of hadith that says "the prophet (PBUH) said: love the arabs for 3 reasons, because i am an arab, the quran is in arabic, and the language of paradise is arabic". This hadith has been rejected by almost every hadith scholar.
Just for reference, the full final sermon in which the prophet completed human rights is this:
After praising, and thanking Allah he said:

“O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury, therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has Judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn ‘Abd’al Muttalib (Prophet’s uncle) shall henceforth be waived…

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before God and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people”.

(Reference: See Al-Bukhari, Hadith 1623, 1626, 6361) Sahih of Imam Muslim also refers to this sermon in Hadith number 98. Imam al-Tirmidhi has mentioned this sermon in Hadith nos. 1628, 2046, 2085. Imam Ahmed bin Hanbal has given us the longest and perhaps the most complete version of this sermon in his Masnud, Hadith no. 19774.) I believe this was the one that is posted.
Many Anti-Islamic websites (i.e. wikiislam) have have claimed that this version has no reference, yet, here it is. thay aslo give a fake version from the unreliable al tabari.

These show that al tabari cannot be 100% trusted, he himself said so in his history.
Mr. Osama Abdullah, this could be one of your refutations to wikiislam.
Peace bros
Im a bengali. :P

it depends on which scholar you ask, some are in the single digits, some say double

reminds me of Christians.
"Depends what gospel you're reading. You can choose the more logical one"
Lol i think its because the radical scholars HAVE to claim verses have been abrogated to back up their outlandish claim. For eg. I remember some scholar said that the verse on no compulsion in religon has been abrogated and you are allowed to compel people into islam. Shame he didnt give any evidence though.

Ah. Ok, thanks bro.

I agree with zulfiqar.

170
Yes i know that. My question was what are the verses not what abrogation is.

171
Dont you think people might have  started thinking too highly of the person the Prophet PBUH chose as his successor? And the civil war is politics, nothing to do with religion. Shias began as a political party then they decided to break off and create a totally different sect.

Zulfiqar patriotism isnt a sin, nationalism is. Nationalism is the extreme form of patriotism ie. when you help your country in wrong doing no matter what because you think your country is superior. Thats what nationalism is.

Lol ijdeed

Christianity is mainly Egyptian sun worship and Shamanism. The shamans drank their own pee when they got high on mushrooms, or at least, that's what the book I read told me O.o
Lmao. What is this book called?

I don't think I'm being dishonest when I say that you would believe anything they tell you even if they say the sun is green .
The sun...is secretly full of turqiose nike shoes and sings gangnam style at 13:00 hours everyday.  8)

178
And what about the far away nations - The Americas - which never knew about it ? Respect our minds please ! This isn't a comedy show !

I know it is hard to believe at first. However, LOOK BEHIND THE DOLLAR BILL. You will see the eye of Horus, the Sun God. Look at the great seal, you will see the Sun and an eagle spreading out its wings. It's all there!

and i love how you changed your Koran:
"we don't believe he was the son of God, crucified, etc"
Changing Allah's words based on my claims is a sin you know

My troll bell started humming after I read your moon god post. Now it's full on tolling

Adnaan you didnt fully understand Ramzi's comment. Cherry-picking is where you choose the good out of the bad. They cherry picked by picking the good (authentic) out of the bad (fabricated).
