i have a quetion on this hadith

The woman who buries alive her new-born girl and the girl who is buried alive both will go to Hell. This tradition has also been transmitted by Ibn Mas’ud from the Prophet (May peace be upon him) to the same effect through a different chain of narrators.

Grade   : Sahih (Al-Albani)
Reference    : Sunan Abi Dawud 4717
In-book reference    : Book 42, Hadith 122
English translation    : Book 41, Hadith 4699

why would a new born baby girl who is unjustkly killed by her parents go to hell?

assalamu alaikum

i have a question on a contradiction that is claimed to be in the quran

the 2 verses in question are:

quran 38;71-2, [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."

and quran 15:28-29: And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud. And when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration."

so it is obviously speaking about the very same event

however the claimed contradiction lies in what did allah say to the angels. because quran 38:71-72 allah didnt mention the altered black mud part
however quran 15 does include the part of the altered black mud.

so whcih of the two did allah swt say to the angels. because now it seems contradictory. did allah say to the angels i will create from clay, or did he say i will create from clay from altered black mud

because these 2 verses are direct quotes of what allah said. and it is speaking of the same event. so what did allah say to the angels and is it not a contradiction

the person who presented the acclaimed contradiction also included the following example:

If I was to tell you today that Neil Armstrong said these famous words as he stepped on to the moon's surface:
"That's one small step for man, but one giant leap for mankind"
Two days later, I say these words were:
"That's one small step for a human, but one giant leap for humanity"
It's recounting what was said. The content of the statements are not contradicting, but it is a contradiction of quotation. He said either the first, the second, or neither. He can't have said both those sentences as he stepped onto the moon.

asslamu alaikum

how do we answer people who say the following:

if god is all able can he create a rock he cannot lift

Quran proclaims Allah to be all able, but he can't do and create anything he desires to. That means he is not all able!

You guys have used the reasoning to suggest Allah does not create things that counteract eachother, such as a squared circle... HELLO?? You are missing the entire point!! The Quran says he is All able, which means it should not be impossible for Allah to create a squared circle, he supposed to be all able. If Allah cannot create a squared circle, he is not all able then is he??? He is limited!

im having trouble with answering this

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Hadith rats
« on: September 24, 2017, 07:13:38 AM »
Assalamu alaikum,

Question about these 3 hadith:

Bukhari 3305: Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A group of Israelites were lost. Nobody knows what they did. But I do not see them except that they were cursed and changed into rats, for if you put the milk of a she-camel in front of a rat, it will not drink it, but if the milk of a sheep is put in front of it, it will drink it." I told this to Ka`b who asked me, "Did you hear it from the Prophet (ﷺ) ?" I said, "Yes." Ka`b asked me the same question several times.; I said to Ka`b. "Do I read the Torah? (i.e. I tell you this from the Prophet

Muslim2997 a: Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:
A group of Bani Isra'il was lost. I do not know what happened to it, but I think (that it 'underwent a process of metamorphosis) and assumed the shape of rats. Don't you see when the milk of the camel is placed before them, these do not drink and when the milk of goat is placed before them, these do drink. Abu Huraira said: I narrated this very hadith to Ka'b and he said: Did you hear this from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)? I (Abu Huraira) said: Yes. He said this again and again, and I said: Have I read Torah? This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Ishaq with a slight variation of wording.

2997 b: Abu Huraira reported that the rat (is the result of) metamorphosis (of a group of Bani Isra'il) and the proof of this is that when the milk of goat is placed before it, it drinks it, and when the milk of the camel is placed before it, it would not taste it at all. Ka'b said:

I have multiple questions on these ahadith. Firstly why is it aleays bani israel that geta transformed into animals, apes pigs lizards rats.

Next doe snt the hadith make a flaw in its deduction. It says because rats dont drink the camel milk they are jews because jews arent allowed to take from the camel. Couldnt i then male the claim that because muslims dont eat pork and rats dont eat pork rats are muslims.

Also the hadith seems to indicate that all tats are those from the israelites because no rats drinm from camel milk and by the deduction given in the hadith that would mean they are all israelites.

Could someone help mr out eith this hafith

Jazkallah khair

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / pharaoh
« on: September 18, 2017, 10:39:43 AM »
assalamu alaikum,

i was actually reading up on the claim that the quran correctly clls the pharaoh during the time of joseph king, and later calls him pharaoh etc.

only answering islam makes this claim and i didnt really know a response, so if you could help out that would be great:
M S M Saifullah and Elias Kareem attempt to legitimize the Qur'an and discredit the Bible based on the fact that the early Kings of Egypt were not given the title of Pharaoh. The authors claim that the Bible makes a mistake when it refers to the Kings of Egypt (prior to the 18th Dynasty) as Pharaoh. This arguments confuses questions of fact with questions of relevance. Incidentally, the Qur'an is also guilty of the same error, if it is indeed an error.

Sura 50: 12-13

Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut,
Therefore, according to the Qur'an, the King of Egypt was called Pharaoh (since this list appears to be in chronological order) at, or before the time of the "brethren of Lot". Lot and Abraham lived in the same time period since Lot was his nephew! In any event, these "brethren" lived before Joseph.

« on: September 12, 2017, 10:54:17 AM »
Assalamu alaikum.

We know islam says that thiefs should have their hands cut off. Isnt this a little bit aggressive and hardh. For one sin or mistake his whole hand is chopped for the rest of his life? Also is there a price range for the amount stolen also if he does it the first time does it get cut off instantly or multiple times etc. Any good articles on it?

« on: September 11, 2017, 10:20:43 AM »
Salam,

Just wanted to share something, in this video befween a debage with br mansur very knowledgabel muslim and hatun who is a student of jay smith in speakers corner, hatun starts with an introduction mentioning agmed deedat from time 0:55-1:15, at exa xtly 1 minute hatun saya: he died thanks god.

What a filthy statement thanking god that an innocent man had died of old age. Imagine we as muslims today would say thank god nabeel qureshi died ( he has cancer now and i hope he gets better) or something along those lines muslims would be demonized for it, but she therr thanks god for killing a innocdnt man of old age, shows what manners and character these people have.

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Question on names
« on: September 10, 2017, 11:17:04 AM »
Salam,

I had a question regarding the names of the prophets in the quran, the quran calls abraham ibrahim, moses musa, jesus isa, aaron harun, and i can go on.

Basically my question is do we believe that the real name of abraham was ibrahim and the real name of moses was musa and the real name of jesus was isa? Or do we say that these prophets were callex ibrahim and musa etc brcause this is how they were known to the arabs at that time therefor they would understand ehat god would be saying to them

So were these their real names or are these just their names in the arsbic form like jesus is the english form and this is how they were known to the arabs at that time

Jazakallah khair in advance for the answers

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Question
« on: September 08, 2017, 07:39:20 PM »
Salam,

I have a question with regards a specific verse which a non muslim showed me online to prove some error  in the quran, and i never heard this claim before, so i hope you can help.

Quran 3:144, Mohsin Khan: Muhammad (SAW) is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah, and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.
( you can check other translations if you like )

But his claim summarized: he says that this verse shows allah swt was unsure, from which we can conclude he is not an all knowing being which would then contradict parts of the quran which say he is. The part in question is " if he dies or is killed ) if allah is an all knowing being why does he have to say "or" he knows what will happen, so why didnt he says, if he is killed, or if he dies, by making this or shows that allah didnt know what would happen to muhammad therefor to stay in the clear he said "dies or killed" he then concludes from this that Muhammad saws himself wrote this and sinde he didnt know the future nor what would happen to him he said die or get killed, he finished off by saying, it is not appropriate for an all knowing entity to say or, as he knows what is going to happen he could have chosen 1

As i have never seen this claim made before, i was not able to find any answers regarding this online, therefor i came here and i hope you can help me refute he lies against our religion

Jazakallah khair

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Confused about some hadith i read
« on: August 30, 2017, 07:11:09 PM »
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatallahu wa barakatuhu

I have a question regarding some ahadith which i was very very confused by to be honest.

Tirmidhi 157: Allah's Messenger said: "In very hot weather, delay the (Zuhr) prayer until it becomes (a bit) cooler, because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell."

Sahih

Bukhari 535: The Mu'adh-dhin (call-maker) of the Prophet (ﷺ) pronounced the Adhan (call) for the Zuhr prayer but the Prophet said, "Let it be cooler, let it be cooler." Or said, 'Wait, wait, because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. In severe hot weather, pray when it becomes (a bit) cooler and the shadows of hillocks appear.

The following one bothers me te most, bukhari 3260: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The (Hell) Fire complained to its Lord saying, 'O my Lord! My different parts eat up each other.' So, He allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in summer, and this is the reason for the severe heat and the bitter cold you find (in weather).

Bukhari 536,537: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In very hot weather delay the Zuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire. The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold."

So it is recorded multiple times in bukhari with sifferent chains and in a sahih hadith from tirmidhi. How do we explain these ahadith. The heat and the cold dont come from the hellfire, rather from the sun is where the heat comes

Jazakallah khair

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Trijitarian claims about eternity
« on: August 28, 2017, 05:28:36 PM »
Assalamu alaikum,

I have seen trinitiarians now growing and using this claim more often, what is a good refutation of it. The claim is as follows, you say god is all and most loving and all merciful and good and just etc. And you say that allah is eternal hence these attributes would also be eternal, so before allah created anything, there was no creation, who was hod loving and merciful and good to? If allah is all loving and all metciful, was he loving before the creation of anything, because you need something to be loving to and merciful to.

I already fixed this by saying that god in his nature is loving and merciful, and if there was a creation god would love it and be merciful to it. God is all loving and all merciful in the sense that if there was creation he would be loving and merciful to it, also god is all knowing and he knew who he would create, and before creating them he already loved them, and he was loving and merciful to them before creating them, and because he is loving he created them in the first place. Any other good refutation of these claims by the trinitarians
