Whilst rooting around google i found another hadith with had slightly different wording but essentially the same meaning and it was authentic.

The hadith in question goes as follows "There will be twelve caliphs after me, all of them will be from Quraish"

Now, I'm a bit confused here. Does this mean that a person that is not from Quraysh couldnt be Caliph? If so, what about the Ottomans. Aren't they considered Caliphs?

Its something called guerre de course, or commerce raiding. It was mostly used in naval warfare but it can also be used on land. It is used by the weaker faction against the stronger faction to weaken the stronger faction. Lets not forget that he only attacked Quraysh caravans who lets not forget also forced the Muslims out of their own city.

And it generslly worked due to my arrogance. But when I decided to go to my local mosque and listen to what they havr to say. I heard the recitation of the quran and that veil of arrogance was removed from my heart and I could deny no longer.
