Assalam.alykam. Christians always quote John 17-5 as proof of The divinty of Jesus

Jesus Prays for His Disciples
17 After Jesus had spoken these words, he looked up to heaven and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you, 2 since you have given him authority over all people,[a] to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. 4 I glorified you on earth by finishing the work that you gave me to do. 5 So now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had in your presence before the world existed.


I quote them John 17-22 where Jesus says. give the glory that you given me to them also.


what does it actually mean. in John 17-5 the glory Jesus had before the world exsisted?

Question for Muslims----
If Psalm 91 is intended to mean Jesus would be saved from death, why is it a historical fact that during a Jewish funeral in the cemetery while the coffin is being borne to the grave, it is customary to halt at least three times and recite Psalm 91 while the DEAD person is being lowered into the grave??

Pretend you are a Jew still waiting for the Messiah and read the chapter Psalm 91 and then go to a Jewish funeral and tell me how a Jew would view this as their coming Messiah will be saved from death when as a Jew you do not view this as saving anyone from death since you are after all in the habit of quoting this 3 times at a dead mans funeral.

Assalam alykam.in debates with Christians  they keep Quoting  God is spirit and should be worshiped in spirit .


i think.this is in John 4

can someone with deep knowledge tell me what this means did Jesus say it? or is it just another pagan idea

i looked it up.and some say God is Spirit as he is ever living and is the breath of life

spirit and breath are same usage in bible.   can someone like Osama Abdullah tell.me more information.  p.s my reply to these christians is  I worship.God in my body mind and spirit.

can i please have a stronger reply and teach them what Jesus really meant

Challenge to all muslims on planet earth including, apologists, scholars, and allah himself!
Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported in connection with the words of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious:" Those to whom they call upon, themselves seek the means or access to their Lord as to whoever of them becomes nearest" (xvii. 57) that it related to a party of Jinn who were being worshipped and they embraced Islam but those who worshipped them kept on worshipping them (though the Jinn whom the misguided people worshipped had become Muslims). It was then that this verse was revealed. (Sahin Muslim ,Book #043, Hadith #7182)
1- How can unseen jinns convert to Islam? It is like saying that evil spirits repent and become godly especially when jinns are devils(Sahih Muslim Book #039, Hadith #6757), of course this is nonsense and cannot happen. Did they recite the Shahada? If yes then prove your point with reference. If there is no reference then allah is a liar because NO ONE can become a muslim unless he recites the Shahada.
2- What about the muslim jinns? Will they have sex with houris in paradise or will they be deprived of houris? If they will have sex with houris then will they have physical bodies? Prove your claims with reference. If not then allah is lying again because everything that is worshiped besides allah will be in hell, Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come. If these had been gods they would not have come thither, but all will abide therein. 21:98-99
3- Who believes this crap except naive muslims?
Conclusion: Since Quran says that anyone who becomes a muslim will go to paradise and have sex with houris and since Quran also says that those whom worshiped(21:98-99) will be in hell.
If we use Quranic standard then we find a clear contradiction because Jinns "became muslims" and they were "still worshiped ". In another sense Jinns cannot have sex with houris and burn in hell "AT THE SAME TIME".

In other translations the word Sunna is translated as "way of treatment"(Pickthall)
In Sura 48:23 it says "and you will never find any exchange (s) to the enactment (Sunna) of Allah.".
This commandment is from the god of Islam that they WILL NEVER FIND ANY EXCHANGE (including Muhammad) TO THE ENACTMENT OF ALLAH. Muslims are in real trouble. The Quran confirms that the only sunna is the sunna of God. Nowhere in the Quran is there any mention of a sunna for Muhammad
The arabic word in its original format is "Sunna or Sunnat", then why do muslims vehemently defend Muhammad if his Sunna was never known? Why do muslims ignorantly brag about Muhammad with "preconceived ideas" regarding his Sunna if his lifestyle or way of behaving is unknown? In this way we can understand that muslims are intellectually dishonest.
Conclusion: Muslims are in deep trouble because they exchanged the Sunna of Allah with Muhammad’s Sunna and because they defend their unknown prophet with preconceived ideas.

God is our loving Father. We pray to Him.. We also pray to His beloved Son, Jesus Christ, God the Son. . We can see from Scripture that Jesus Christ receives prayers. The Holy Bible shows us that Jesus Christ was the God of the Old Testament, the God of Israel and of all the former prophets of Israel.. . Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior was with God the Father from the very beginning before He created anything . The Word, who was with God at the beginning, became flesh, the Word Who was God became Jesus Christ. .
The Holy Bible tells us of Stephen who became the very first recorded martyr of the Apostolic Church. "And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, ‘Lord Jesus, receive my spirit’" . As Stephen lay dying because of his bold preaching of Jesus Christ being God, Stephen called out not to God the Father but to Jesus Christ, God the Son, his Savior. Stephen had a relationship with both God the Father and with God the Son, the Word Who became Jesus Christ. Our Lord and Savior Jesus accepted worship from others. When Jesus Christ appeared to His disciples after His resurrection, "…they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him" .
Jesus Christ continuously stated in the Holy Bible that He, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the Father are one in thought, attitude and purpose .One God. Since His resurrection, the glorified Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God the Father.
Jesus Christ is God, as God the Father is God. The Holy Bible tells us that without Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, the veil between humans and God the Father would not have been lifted .Jesus Christs Holy Blood on the cross lifted that veil that separated The Father from His creation.
We must realize that even when we pray to God the Father, we are so doing by the authority of His Son, Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible says, "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him" .Peace.
