Rebuttals & Polemics / Refuting answering-islam.com on Ijaz Al-Quran
« on: December 04, 2012, 09:52:15 AM »
Our muslim brothers made a very good article about The Miracle of Quran.
You can see it here: http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Miracle/ijaz.html

and as always the dumb answering-islam.com made a rebuttal to this article here:
http://www.answering-islam.org/Responses/Saifullah/ijaz.htm

So I need no more then refute these statements written by orientalists on Quran:

First claim to refute: Quotes provided by the "Islamic Awareness" team must also be placed in the context in which they were written. In this case, Beeston, Johnstone, Serjeant and Smith were quoting Mubarak's Nathr. The authors agree that the Qur'an is in a literary category of its own. However, on pages 196-197, they tell us:

Second claim to refute: The Qur'an is written throughout in rhyming prose (saj'), and appears therefore, to a greater or lesser extent, artistically constructed and strongly rhetorical in comparison with ordinary prose. The individual parts of a sentence, the sentence or combination of sentences which end with a rhyme and are called verses (ayah, plural ayat) follow the rhyme scheme a-a, b-b, c-c. The same rhyme is repeated not only once but as often as the author pleases, e.g. a-a-a, b-b, c-c-c-c (surah ci). Short surahs sometimes have only one rhyme. Ideally, as in the earliest surahs, the rhymes follow in rapid succession at fairly equal intervals; this also seems to have been the case with the rhymes of the ancient Arabic soothsayers. (Presumably the Prophet in fact adopted the alternation of short rhyme sequences from the practice of these soothsayers ...). In the surahs from the latter years of Muhammad's career the verses lengthen increasingly, and the rhymes no longer have the effect of rhetorically enlivening elements, but sound monotonous and often forced, as though they have been added later.

Third claim to refute: A large number of early pronouncements in the Qur'an are introduced by strange oaths, or rather asseverations, a stylistic device which Muhammad in all probability copied from the old Arabic soothsayers. page 198

Fourth claim to refute: In the earliest period of his preaching Mohammed's utterances were delivered in a sinewy oracular style cast into short rhymed phrases, often obscure and sometimes preceded by one or more formal oaths. This style is admittedly that of the ancient kahins or Arabian oracle-mongers, and it is not surprising that Mohammed's opponents should have charged him with being just another such kahin. For this and other reasons his style gradually loosened out into a simpler but still rhetorical prose; and as social denunciations and eschatological visions passed into historical narrative, and that in turn at Medina into legislation and topical addresses, little was left of its original stylistic features but a loose rhyme or assonance marking the end of each verse, now anything from ten to sixty words long. page (36)

Fifth claim to refute: vargo, Allah´s curse be on him! said this: he (Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.) did understand the power of words. Those who want to use aspects of eloquence as criteria for determining the spiritual validity and value of a text, should ponder these words of Muhammad:

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar:

Two men came from the East and addressed the people who wondered at their eloquent speeches On that Allah's Apostle said. "Some eloquent speech is as effective as magic." Bukhari Volume 7, Book 71, Number 662

This is one of my favourite websites:  http://www.islamic-awareness.org/

but as always the answering-islam.com made rebuttals to all of their claims here: http://www.answering-islam.org/Responses/Saifullah/index.html

Insha Allah we must refute their claims.

Rebuttals & Polemics / Refuting answering-islam on Quran´s Challenge
« on: November 30, 2012, 08:09:55 AM »
http://www.answering-islam.org/Quran/Miracle/

This topic is full of lies. we need to refute all of their claims.
I know it is very long and some of their arcitles are already refuted, but we need all, because I think that this is very important, because they are attacking The Prophet´s (s.a.w.) Prophethood and his everlasting Miracle.

Rebuttals & Polemics / Is there a contradiction or not (2) ?
« on: November 28, 2012, 11:38:30 AM »
We know from Noble Quran that prophet Ibrahim a.s. and his son Ismail a.s. were in Mekkah and they taught Islam to the people of Mekkah. This is a fact and nobody can deny it.
So this above shows that the Arabs, or Mekkans had prophets and were warned by them and seems to contradict this ayah:
That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. (Quran 36:6)

now the question is: were the forefathers of Arabs warned by Ibrahim and Ismail a.s. as it is in Quran, or not? becase Quran 36:6 seem to contradict it.

Please help me giving answers.

Rebuttals & Polemics / Is there a contradiction or not (1) ?
« on: November 28, 2012, 11:25:51 AM »
The verses (36:26-27) state, "It was said (to him when the disbelievers killed him): "Enter Paradise." He said: "Would that my people knew! That my Lord (Allah) has forgiven me, and made me of the honoured ones!"
So now from this ayat we know that this prophet entered Al-Jannah, so he is now (already) there.
But other ayat say that the people will be risen up from death and rewarded only in the Yawm Al-Qiyamah according to their deeds, so until Al-Yawm Al-Qiyamah every body is on earth.
But this prophet is already in Al-Jannah, so what about his body? Is his body on earth or in Al-Jannah?

Rebuttals & Polemics / Refuting mukto-mona.com on Ijaz Al-Quran
« on: November 26, 2012, 12:02:10 PM »
Al-salam ´alaykum wa rahmatullah wa baarakatuh

Please help me a little for the sake of Allah s.w.t.

mukto-mona.com claim that The Challenge of Quran was met at least two times in history.
they claim there are many good examples why Islam is alive today, even if The Challenge of Quran was met.
their example is:  bahai religion - the bahais are refuted and all other muslims know that their leader or the creator of their religion is a liar, and yet their religion is still alive and increases in numbers just like Islam. What if the same happened in Islam? Astaghfirullah!
What is if the Arabs in the time of The Prophet (s.a.w.) met the Challenge of Quran? Maybe it was not preserved, or it was lost. And even if they met the challenge of Quran, that did not mean nothing for believers, because believer will believe even his religion is maybe false (like christianity and bahai religion).
If now come a man with claim that his poetry is meeting Quran´s Challenge or even his poetry is better, how many muslims will accept it? will any muslim leave Islam? I think no. Because all muslims will claim that nobody can meet The Challenge of Quran.

PLEASE HELP ME, I AM IN DOUBT

Also there are many other claims about Noble Quran, that the Noble Quran contains ayat which ones fall into saj, poetry or prose.

You muslims with knowledge claim that there not a single ayah in Noble Quran fall into these three categories.
You say that the full Quran is outside of Arabic capacity of language (I mean saj, poetry and prose etc....)

I have ne knownledge about these questions, please answer me and help me for the sake of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta´ala).

As we know, many scientists spoke about Scientific Miracles in Noble Quran

As always, the dumb answering-islam.com christians refuted all these statements, so we need to make rebuttal to their claims.

There are their rebuttals:

http://www.answering-islam.org/Responses/It-is-truth/

Please refute them for the sake of Allah :)

Al-salam alaykum wa rahmatu Allah wa baarakatuh dear brothers in Islam.

IMPORTANT: There are many anti Islamic claims, such as there was a man or more people who taught the Quran to the Prophet (s.a.w.) or he invited it.

I need irrefutable proofs that nobody taught the Quran to Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), no man or people taught it to him, nor he invited, but it is a revelation from the Creator.

Also I need refutations to these anti Islam claims:

Al-salam ´alaykum wa rahmatullah wa baarakatuh.

You can find here one of the Miracles of Noble Quran:

http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/562/

BUT our enemy: answering-islam.com made a rebuttal to this

They wrote:

It say : anzala lakum

So they say that the cattles were also sent down just like the iron.

APPENDIX

History testifies to the fact that other ancient cultures, e.g. the Egyptians, Sumerians and Hittites witnessed the fall of meteorites and revered them as heavenly gifts/sacred objects:

Throughout the ages, meteorites were venerated as sacred objects by different cultures and ancient civilizations. The spectacular fall of a meteorite, accompanied by light and sound phenomena, such as falling stars, smoke, thunder, and sonic booms, has always kindled the human imagination, evoking fear and awe in everyone who witnesses such an event. For obvious reasons, the remnants of these incidents, the actual meteorites, were often kept as sacred stones or objects of power. They were worshiped, and used in their respective religious ceremonies.8

More to the point, some of these meteorites naturally had iron in them and thus made some tribes aware of iron’s connection with the sky:

Actually, several Native American tribes venerated pieces and fragments of the Canyon Diablo meteorite, a giant iron meteorite that excavated Arizona's famous Meteor Crater upon its impact about 50,000 years ago. Archaeological finds throughout the United States and Mexico, proved that Canyon Diablo fragments had been traded briskly centuries before Columbus reached the shores of the New World.

The discovery of iron in the meteorites did not only make ancient civilizations aware of the fact that iron was “sent down” from the sky, but also taught them that these fallen stones were the best source of iron:

Iron meteorites provided iron for people to use for tools and weapons before the art of smelting was known. Finding such meteorites was rare and the ancients did understand the meteorites connection with sky. This was evidenced in the names given them. The ancient Egyptians called meteorites the "stone of heaven." The oldest Sumerian word for iron meant "sky" and "fire." The Hittites, one of the first to use weapons from smelted terrestrial iron, called the metal "fire from heaven." The Assyrians too, extracted iron from ore and called it "fragment from heaven."

Rebuttals & Polemics / This question will shock all christians!
« on: November 24, 2012, 01:29:57 PM »
Christians always ask us Muslims: why did God Almighty wait 600 years to send Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.?
Christians claim that the title Messiah means savior, then where was the savior 6000 years?
Why did God wait 6000 years to send the savior?
6000 years there was not need for any savior, God forgave when people repented to Him.
And this is what The Old Testament say! So which book is more believable? The old or the new testament?
By the way, the title Messiah means Anointed and not savior.
But for the sake of argument there is anything more absurd!
Christians claim that God died for the sins of the world, He died as a man with name Jesus (God forbid!), and whoever do not believe in the crucifixion of Jesus, will go to hell forever!
Opps wait a moment!!!! What? What about those people who lived 6000 years before birth of Jesus? They could not believe in Jesus because he came after 6000 years, so they all went to hell? And the final question is what is more 600 or 6000 years? How do you respond this christians?
