Don't you think that Answering Christianity's articles (even the whole website if possible) should be translated into languages, perhaps Arabic, Persian, Mandarin. Since only 15% of the world could understand English at this level. What do you think? If yes, what languages do you think it should be translated into, the priority ones first.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,
Thank you for the suggestion akhi. Believe me, whenever I could advance Islam, I wouldn't hesitate even for one split second. I've already moved towards a multi-lingual website, dear brother, with http://www.QuranSearch.com search engine. As you can see, I have all of the foreign translations of the Noble Quran that I could get my hands on, and I built the search engine for them.
As to your request, the major problem with the Muslims today, on the internet, is that they're too disorganized. Even Saudi Arabia's official http://al-islam.com website doesn't even have the Noble Quran in many languages, nor the Hadiths, nor the Tafsirs. The Christian missionaries are completely opposite of this. 10s of millions of Bibles get printed every year in almost every single language this planet earth has. While the Muslims don't even YET, AND TILL THIS DAY, have the Noble Quran translated in all of the world's languages! There are only 15 or so foreign-language-translations of the Noble Quran out there.
Even late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, may Allah Almighty rest his soul and grant him Paradise, critisized the Arabs and Muslims on this point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFiYQ3JUUV0&feature=related (start from minute 45). My point in this is that we are only mere individuals, my dear brother. Me myself am way too limited. And I do not have the necessary resources to make the idea that you mentioned happen.
The only way to do it is to hire an organization to do this. These people charge you per hour, and they're not cheap. It'll cost 100s of thousands of US-Dollars to accomplish this. I simply do not have that money. I am looking into Google translation. They're constantly improving their translations. I'll also look into softwares for this. I thought about softwares before, but didn't go for it, because I have no way to verify if the translation is accurate or not. We don't want giberish.
Do you brothers and sisters have any suggestion that you could share?
Thank you!
Your brother,
Osama Abdallah

As-Salamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh akhi,
Brother Osama maybe you could hire some Muslims who know other languages well to help you accomplish this task. If you ar willing to do so, however, beware of Islamophobes who might fake identity and spread false information.

Bro zulfiqar has touched where my pain is !!!!
just as him and bro Osama etc.... I feel disappointed by that lack of comparative religions input ,in other languages !!!!
but that is our fault as muslims....... the anti islamic sites try their best putting their poisonous material into all other languages ....yet we do not do the same !!!
as brother osama said , the major problem with the Muslims today, on the internet, is that they're too disorganized.
and needs necessary resources ...google translation will never make the accurate translation whatever update it may have....
translation needs a human as a must to be accurate...
for me , Im a native Arab speaker ,and had academic studies in Arabic ....so translating anything from English to Arabic accuarately ,is not a big deal ...it just a matter of time ... the difficulty for me when I put Arabic into English not the opposite ....
so I can share with that project in Arabic...... to add ....actually there are lots of sites in Arabic refuting christianity.......... I can give the links to bro osama , and he link them in the site.
The following languages should be our priorities:
1- Spanish
2- chinese
3- Russian
4- German
5-Bosnian
6- Turkish
7- Hindi
8- Persian
9-indonesian
10- Urdu
the challenge that we, not only, need members in the blog ,that are native speakers of those languages ,but also they must be well eduacted in the written language of both English and more important their native language....
May Allah help us to matrialize our ambition ......
and If Bro Osama would like to make Arabic section in the site, something like:
http://www.answering-christianity.com/ar/
I will be under service .... who else ..... a non English native speaker ,who is well educated in his language?
zulfiqarchucknorris:
Peace
Maybe you could recruit someone who speaks ANY language (even Khmer) and have him/her translate, their are a lot of devoted Muslims who speak many languages, and want to make some good deeds, (isn't one of your team from the Netherlands?). You can start small, translate one article or two and slowly build up, you don't need big organisations, you only need a few devout native (or advanced) speakers who want to help.
Good Luck
