Assalamo Alaykom brother Hassan,
I read your interesting post. May Allah reward you heaven for your efforts. I just want to add few verses from Quran.
If a non-Muslim ask you about the fighting verses in Quran, you answer this is for those who begin hostilities against Muslims. This is called “self defense”. Allah (The Almighty God) said in Quran:
• (2:190) Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not aggressors.
And before Muslims are allowed to begin fighting (for self-defense), Muslims must first negotiate for peace, but if the non-Muslims disagreed, then I believe that every human on earth would agree that Muslims have every single right to self-defense.
• (2:208) O believers, enter the peace, all of you, and follow not the steps of Satan; he is a manifest foe to you.
Therefor, the fighting verses you are asking for are examples of what’s happened to those who began fighting against Prophet Mohammad.
If non-Muslims don’t fight Muslims, then Muslims must deal with non-Muslims kindly and justly i.e. live together as neighbors and friends, work together to produce best quality products, protect them if they ask for protection, etc. Allah (The Almighty God) said in Quran:
• (60:8) Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.
Prophet Mohammad said:
• Let whosoever believes in Allah and in the Last Day honor his neighbor.
• Receiving your friend with a smile is a type of charity and putting some water in your neighbors bucket is a charity.
• A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well he descended into it, drank his fill and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst. The man saw that the dog was feeling the same thirst as he had felt so he went down into the well again and filled his shoe with water and gave the dog a drink. Allah forgave his sins for this action. The Prophet was asked: Messenger of Allah, are we rewarded for kindness towards animals? He said, There is a reward for kindness to every living thing.
Therefore, it doesn’t make any sense at all that Prophet Mohammad wants Muslims to kill for no reason while on the other hand is promoting good conduct towards the neighbor and the dog. Also, it doesn't make any sense at all that if Satan helped Prophet Mohammad inventing the Quran to tell him to promote towards peace and charity!!!
