GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Exorcism of the Syrophoenician
« on: October 30, 2019, 10:11:56 AM »
Brother Osama Salam, i have a question...i've been reading the story of the gentile woman of Matthew 15:21-28 this morning and i've been wondering does Jesus sins somewhere along the incident?

So the woman comes asking for help to Jesus, the latter refuses her by saying that he came only for the children of Israel and even went as far as hinting out that helping her would be like snatching the rights of the Israelites (verse 24) then ofc after further begging he agrees to help her.

I have some questions that pops up, the fact that Jesus helped her may suggest that he also came to help believing gentiles...if that's the case then does that entail that Jesus used a lie to test the woman?

Another possibility is that Jesus made an exception, then does that mean his human nature sinned by breaching his contract (verse 24)?

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / John 8:58 & 4:25-26
« on: November 15, 2017, 08:17:33 AM »
John 8:58 New International Version (NIV)

58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am(ἐγὼ εἰμί)!”

ISV John 4:25-26

The woman told him, “I know that the Anointed One is coming, who is being called ‘Messiah‘. When that person comes, he will explain everything.” “I am he(Ἐγώ εἰμι),” Jesus replied, “the one who is speaking to you.”

The EXACT same word(Egō eimi) is used by Jesus to identify himself as the Messiah instead of God in 4:25-26...

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / John 10:30 & 1 Corinthians 3:8
« on: November 12, 2017, 11:37:25 PM »
Assalamualaikum,

John 10:30 New International Version (NIV)

"30 I and the Father are one."

1 Corinthians 3:5-8 NKJV

"5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters ARE ONE...."

This is one more proof to prove that John 10:30 means Jesus and The Father are ONE in Purpose....the greek word used in 1 Corinthians 3:8 is ἕν(hen) which is EXACTLY the same one used in John 10:30....so basically what Paul meant is that he and Apollos were one in Purpose instead of being "literally one"...

In the NIV translation of 1 Corinthians 3:8 ἕν(Hen) is translated as "One purpose"...

"8 The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose"

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / some help against a non muslim guy
« on: November 04, 2017, 11:51:25 AM »
Assalamualaikum guys,

There's a non muslims guy which has brought up some hadiths to prove that the Prophet PBUH killed civilians and "innocent" people, i already have refutations to most of his claims but i'm stuck with 3 hadiths, can someone please respond to them?

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Masud :
The Prophet recited Suratan-Najm (103) at Mecca and prostrated while reciting it and those who were with him did the same except an old man who took a handful of small stones or earth and lifted it to his forehead and said, “This is sufficient for me.” Later on, I saw him killed as a non-believer.

Bukhari Volume 2, Book 19, Number 173

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas’ud: Ibrahim said: Ad-Dahhak ibn Qays intended to appoint Masruq as governor. Thereupon Umarah ibn Uqbah said to him: Are you appointing a man from the remnants of the murderers of Uthman? Masruq said to him: Ibn Mas’ud narrated to us, and he was trustworthy in respect of traditions, that when the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) intended to kill your father, he said: Who will look after my children? He replied: Fire. I also like for you what the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) liked for you.

Dawud Book 14, Hadith 2680

Narrated Sa’id ibn Yarbu’ al-Makhzumi: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: on the day of the conquest of Mecca: There are four persons whom I shall not give protection in the sacred and non-sacred territory. He then named them. There were two singing girls of al-Maqis; one of them was killed and the other escaped and embraced Islam.

Assalamualaikum,

Brother Osama you should read this....

<Infidels' link removed>

Apparently according to them the first Muslims(Muhammad PBUH, his Family and the sahabas) and the Rashidun Caliphate formed part of the "True Church of God" of Arabia...Lots of things we may disagree on but it's pretty obvious...Though they have some pretty good opinion, they apparently used weak sources....looks weird but interesting to read...really weird...

Interesting quote:

"From the actual writings of the Koran, it seems that the man and his group were key players in this great struggle for independence and Bible truth over the Trinitarian heresies that were being formulated in the West. They were allied with the Sabbatarian Christians to the West. These Sabbatarians, called “Paulicians”, formed the buffer in Asia Minor (up to the Taurus Mountains) against the Trinitarians that were using the Eastern Empire at Constantinople as their base.

The pagans destroyed the message of the Koran as the Pharisees did with the OT, and as the Roman Empire-based Trinitarians"

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Any Good response to a Nazi?
« on: October 24, 2017, 02:05:13 PM »
Assalamualaikum guys,

There's a Nazi guy who's got a new toy to play with, apparently he copied it from TROP or Answering Islam...so basically he claims that Muhammad PBUH was a racist because he traded 2 black slaves for one Arab slave...here's the hadith...any good response to shut him up?

It was narrated that Jabir Sair:

"A slave came and gave his pledge to the Messenger of Allah to emigrate and the prophet did not realize that he was a slave. Then his master came looking for him.The prophet said; 'sell him to me.' so he bought him for two black slaves, then he did not accept until he had asked; 'Is he a slave?'''

Sunan an-Nasa'i book 44 hadith 4625"

TROP says it's from
Sahih Muslim 3901

Assalamualaikum guys,

I really need some help right now can you guys please help, there's a hadith which is generally believed to be fabricated but a shia tried to to prove it is authentic, i have absolutely no idea how to answer him...here's his argument...

Assalamualaikum,

This hadith is generally thought as fabricated but a shia tried to prove it is authentic...can you please verify this? Can you please do it as soon as possible? I'm gonna quote it for you,

"The Holy Prophet (pbuh) said: O Ali, you and your Shi'a will be in Paradise Many Sunnis are confused by the hadith, since they are not from the Shi'a of Imam Ali (as). So, many of them have declared the hadith weak. However, it is either ignorance or dishonesty. This is because the hadith is not just sahih, it is mutawatir! Inshallah, I will set out now to prove that. First, what is a mutawatir hadith? Well, any hadith narrated through a minimum of 9 or 10 Companions is accepted as mutawatir, and thus absolutely authentic. Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani has some more words: For a mutawatir hadith, the reliability or justice of the narrators is irrelevant. Its authenticity only depends on the multiplicity of narrators, to a number that clearly removes the possibililty of any collusion to lie. Al-Isabah, Vol. 2, p. 252 Imam al-Haskani in his Shawahid Tanzil, Vol. 2, p. 461, has recorded the hadith through a chain from Ibn Abbas. Al-Khawarizmi too in his al-Manaqib, p. 323, has recorded it from another chain from Sa'eed ibn Jubayr from Ibn Abbas. Al-Khawarizmi again has recorded it through another chain from Anas ibn Malik in his Manaqib, p. 319. Ibn Maghazili too has narrated from him through a chain in his Manaqib Amir al-Mumineen, pp. 183-184. Ibn Maghazili al-Shafi'i, in his Manaqib Amir al-Mumineen, pp. 157-158, cites a chain leading up to Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansar. Imam al-Tabarani, in his Mu'jam al-Awsat, Vol. 7, p. 343, has narrated it through another chain from Abu Hurayrah. Al-Khawarizmi again has narrated it through a chain from Imam Husayn (as) in his al-Manaqib, p. 317. Al-Haskani, through a chain, has recorded it from Abu Barzah al-Aslami in his Shawahid Tanzil, Vol. 2, p. 463. Imam al-Hakim in his al-Mustadrak, Vol. 3, pp. 174-175 has narrated from Mayna ibn Abi Mayna through a chain. Ibn Asakir in his Tarikh, Vol. 42, p. 333 has narrated it, through a chain, from Umm Salamah. Al-Haythami too, in his Majma al-Zawaid, Vol. 10, p. 21 (Egypt) has narrated it through another chain from her. Al-Hafiz Jamaluddin al-Zarnadi, in his Nasm Duroor al-Simtayn, p. 24, has narrated it, through a chain, from Ibrahim ibn Shaybah al-Ansari. Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi, in his Muwazzih Awham al-Jami' wa al-Tafriq, Vol. 1, p. 43, records it, through a chain, from Bibi Fatimah al-Zahra (as). A huge number of Sunni scholars have narrated it through several chains from Imam Ali (as). Among them are Ibn Asakir in his Tarikh, Vol. 42, p. 332, al-Dawlabi in his al-Dhurriyat al-Tahirat, p. 121, al-Khatib al-Baghdadi in his Tarikh, Vol. 12, p. 284 and others. The hadith has been narrated from ELEVEN Companions. It is therefore absolutely authentic and must be accepted as proof, being a mutawatir tradition. Imam Ibn Hajar records in his 'Nuzhat al-Nadhar' page 10: "Verily one must work with the mutawatir hadith without checking its narrators" Sunni scholar and a teacher of university of Makka Allamah Ahmad bin Umar bin Salim records in Al-Muqtareb fi Bayan al-Mutareb, page 10: "The tawattur do not require checking of narrators, verily one must work with it without checking because it is acceptable" Present day Salafi scholar and one of the students of Shaykh Bin Baz namely Abdulkarim al-Khudhair (born in 1374 H) records in Tahqiq al-Raghba fi Tawdih al-Nukhba, page 44: The mutawatir: Traditions that should be believed because they are absolutely true, there is hence no need to check through its narrators We read the aspect of a mutawatir tradition in Tadrib al-Rawi by Imam Jalaluddin Suyuti, Volume 2 page 173: "Hence one must work with it without checking the narrators." Allahuma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa ahlihi wa shi'atihim ajma'een."

I'm in a tough spot right now...

Assalamualaikum guys,

Today i was reading articles on a christian website and i found an article about Islam....I always thought that all christians(even Unitarians) had a negative view about Muslim beliefs of Jesus but i was wrong...so basically the article is quite long but to keep it short, they were trying to prove that as long as a Muslim believes in the Quranic Jesus, they can be considered as Ebionite Christians and brothers in faith....
