Refutation to the Aisha claim.

(Introduction)

In this article we will see if A’isha r.a’s marriage was historically, and biologically justified and then derive a conclusion from that.

This article is divided into 3 sections:

1. Aisha r.a’s marriage in light of history.

2.Aisha r.a’s marriage in Light of Biology.

3. Justification and Conclusion.

(Motives)

The reason I’m writing this post about Aisha r.a is because although there are alot of Refutations about Aisha r.a’s marriage, their points donot really provide extra sources, which lead to anti muslims quotemining and cherrypicking said refutations to misrepresent the author, here In Shaa’ Allah, I will not only provide as many sources as I can, but I will try my best to write the article in such a way that there is no excuse left.

Anyways let us begin the refutation.

(Aisha R.A’s marriage in light of history)

So here I will simply outline many kings who married younger girls and also quote some articles to show that people died younger hence married earlier. So let us first begin with 5 historical marriages that took place.

1.Caterina Sforza

“Despite the bride’s being just 10 years of age, the marriage of Caterina & Girolamo was celebrated in January 1473, but consummated 4 years later, when Caterina reached the tender age of 14“

2.Agnes of France

First marriage
“According to William of Tyre, Agnes was eight on her arrival at Constantinople when she was married with Alexios”

3.Isabella of Valois

“On 31 October 1396, almost the age of seven, Isabella married the widower King Richard II of England in a move for peace with France.[1]“

4.Margaret Beaufort

“Margaret was 12 when she married the 24-year-old Edmund Tudor on 1 November 1455. The Wars of the Roses had just broken out; Edmund, a Lancastrian, was taken prisoner by Yorkist forces less than a year later. He died of the plague in captivity at Carmarthen on 3 November 1456, leaving a 13-year-old widow who was seven months pregnant with their child.“

5.Joan of Navarre

“At the age of 11, Joan married the future Philip IV of France on 16 August 1284, becoming queen consort of France in 1285 a year later“

Source:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joan_I_of_Navarre

So now we have established that these marriages were common, now all that is left is to show one of the major reasons these marriages took place, which is early deaths.

“At birth, the average life expectancy of a person born during medieval times was between 25 and 35 years“

Source:https://study.com/academy/answer/what-was-the-average-life-expectancy-in-medieval-times.html

Now we simply have to analyse all historical data in light of Aisha r.a, now we know marriages like Aisha r.a’s were common and the motives behind them was early deaths.

Hence historically the Marriage was normal and justified

(Aisha r.a’s marriage in light of biology)

Now most marriages are usually justified if a person is mentally and physically ready, here we will prove that Aisha r.a was ready for marriage

Aisha r.a hit Puberty:

” I had seen my parents following Islam since I attained the age of puberty. Not a day passed but the Prophet (ﷺ) visited us, both in the morning. And evenings”

bukhari book 8 hadith 124

Now all thats left is to show that she was intellectualy ready.

Her Ability to narrate and advise is one proof she had intellectual maturity but its not enough her aggressiveness in defense of the Prophet SAW, her ability to read the whole Quran are evidences she had intellectual maturity. So i dont need to provide hadith for this this is basic things you can search about Aisha r.a but I will provide two testimony to her knowledge as to not leave out sources.
Al Hakim mentions in al-Mustadrak, “One-fourth of the rule of Shariah was narrated on the authority of Aishah. (Women Around the Messenger, pg 65)
Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari said, “Whenever a hadith was unclear to us (the Companions), and we asked Aisha (RA) about it, we always gained knowledge about that Hadith from her.” (Women Around the Messenger, pg 65)

(Justification and Conclusion)

I believe this is enough to Justify the Marriage of Aisha r.a,it is historically and biologically justified as she hit puberty and her marriage was normal

So the simple conclusion is her marriage was justified as shown here, so everything anti muslims say about her is not only unsupported by history but may bounce back to them as it was their western figures too marrying at young ages. So really all this BS sorrounding The Marriage is just that BS and will remain false in eyes of educated people who studied historical figures and life expectancy and who Aisha r.a was
