The Qur'an says that Allah created the universe including the Earth in 6 "Ayaam". Ayaam can be have the meaning of days or it can also have the meaning of periods. In any case, as far as I know, no information regarding how much time has passed since the creation of Earth, has been provided in Islamic scripture. In other words, the Qur'an is silent about the age of the planet.

 Weird. I don't see Muslims using that to prove that Christianity is false. I did a really funny thing once when I emailed Answers in Genesis about an old earth creationist website that claimed that the Bible doesn't say that the Earth is 6000. The refuted that statement quickly   ;D
