Salam All
Brother Osama has kindly permitted to promote some work that I've been undertaking for the previous few years: The first Muslim Commentary of the Bible web-site. This is the first time a verse by verse commentary of the Bible has been produced in English (as far as I am aware) in a Muslim perspective.
The link to the web-site where sample content of the work is available is:
http://muslimcommentaryofbible.wordpress.com
I am not a very 'techie' person, so apologies for it's appearance, but I pray that the content will make up for it. It is being updated on a daily basis.
The work provides a compelling and interesting perception to all readers with any interest in the Bible, religiously or historically. The commentary if based as much as possible on the earliest and most reliable sources, and the result of this research deals in depth with certain key-points, some of which are:
The authors of the four Gospels.
When the Gospels were written.
Has the Bible been changed? If so, when and where?
Did Jesus preach only to the Jews?
Did Jesus die on the cross as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind?
Is Muhammad prophesised in the Bible?
The similarities between the message of Jesus and the message of Muhammad.
Written in a unique style, a Muslim Commentary of the Bible will give the reader a better chance to understand what really happened to Jesus 2000 years ago, and what he most likely said and said and did not say.

Syed

Wa Alaikum As'salam,
Welcome to the team, dear brother Syed. May Allah Almighty bless you for your efforts. Ameen. Feel free to post the contents of your book here, akhi. All I am seeing from your link is the book's front page with little commentary. I look forward to seeing the contents, insha'Allah.
Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Wasalam
Inshallah, the aim is to have most if not all the book on the web-site.
However, if there are any passages which are of particular interest to anyone here, please ask and I will gladly post the contents of the book which cover those verses. The book is only of the gospels though, but Inshallah I pray that it will prove useful to all parties.
Jazak Allah
Syed
