As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Watch this great lecture by Sheikh Hamza Yusuf. He quoted top medical institutions (https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=Gh_YWoPAL--7tgWTu47QDg&q=ten+thousand+steps+treatment&oq=ten+thousand+steps+treatment) saying that the best way to cure Type 2 Diabetes is to walk 10,000 steps everyday. And when Sheikh Hamza did his Umra in Mecca, he had a step-counter app, and by the time he finished it, it calculated a little above 10,000 steps for him.
So even the Islamic Religious Ritual of doing Umra Mecca has a Scientific Miracle and/or Notion in it. Indeed, all Praise and Thanks and Glory are due to Allah Almighty Alone.
