John 14:6

Indeed my dear brother.  The Lord Messiah, Jesus, is indeed the way, the Truth and the Life to the hypocrites from the phariseas and others who were corrupt and needed salvation.  After all, Christ is the King of the Jews, and the Messiah.  Islam doesn't deny that.

Thank you, dear brother, for the kind and refreshing Commandments from the Prince of Peace and Love.  The Glorious Quran also gives recognition to the exceptional love that the Lord Messiah, Jesus, taught his followers and transformed them into:

[005:082]  Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.

One and Only Son, my dear brother, means the most beloved one, by Allah Almighty, from among all of the Righteous Servants of Allah Almighty.  This is clearly spelled out in the New Testament.  Please visit: www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm for more details.

Thank you again for the kind words, dear brother.  You know, when I first established the website back in 1999, I used to have a message on the main page that said: "I love Christians and I have nothing against them."  But then as things got hostile and bitter between us and the anti-Islamics, that message was removed a year or so later.  It is folks like you who always give hope that we can all coexist in peace, to the whole world.  Indeed, Christians like you are full of Geniune Love.  Allah Almighty made it very clear for us, Muslims, in the Glorious Quran.

The Lord Jesus Christ is certainly my Lord and Messiah.  I give my full allegiance to him, if he were to return today, and I would obey him to the death.  But he is most certainly not my Creator.

Take care, and may Allah Almighty bless you.  Ameen.

Hi Brother,

I thank you for allowing me to post on this site. I will just address a couple of things from your reply. You said that Christ is the King of the Jews. Jesus is the saviour of all mankind; he laid down his life for all of us in his great love.

Secondly, Jesus is God's one and only begotten Son as I said in my first post as well. I believe the bible to be the true word of God and I take it literally. Psalms 12:6-7 : And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. I know there are people who say that it has been altered etc but it has worked in amazing ways in my life and I believe it to be the living word of God. The bible says that those who come to Christ are God's adopted son's: Ephesians 1:5 'he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--' whereas Jesus is his begotten Son.

John 3:18
18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Brother, I praise God for giving you an understanding and loving mind. I know that I cannot show you Jesus or his glory because I am only human and therefore I am not higher than you that you should listen to me. I know that you are strong in your faith. There was a time I was confused about Jesus; I would cry and pray to God every day for a long time to reveal the truth to me.  By his faithfulness, he spoke to me and showed me the way. I don't claim to know everything about God:

Isaiah 55:8-9 (God said)
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

There are so many things I still have to learn but I know about the love my Jesus has for me and like a little child, I now believe in it innocently.  I pray sincerely that you may hear God's voice and continue to love God. I understand you are busy. But in the future, if you have time, it would be great if you could help me to understand your beliefs. For example, you say the Jesus is your Lord and the Messiah. Does that mean you believe he is sent from God as a prophet but you don't believe him to be equal to God? Also, do you believe him to be equal to Prophet Muhammad?

John 14:21 (Jesus said)
The person who has my commandments and obeys them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will reveal myself to him.”

May God bless you  all :)

We should bring in 'There is only one God' and 'adnaanshaikh195' to make it more sophisticated and civil :). Just make sure we remove all chairs and projectiles, and bring in as many bodies as we can (preferrebly all males) just in case.  LOOLLLLL!!

Brother jesus.breadoflife, I'll reply back to you tonight, insha'Allah (if Allah Almighty is Willing).

Take care,

Ok joke is burnt.  Because of the possible fist fight that might break out :).  We don't want the ladies to get caught in the middle of all of this.  And more males would be around to break it up.   ;D.

Peace be upon you brother Jesus.breadoflife,

Sorry for taking too long to reply.  The answer to your points is thoroughly demonstrated at: www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm.

Please study this article carefully, because it is definitely the website's #1 article, and it thoroughly demonstrates Islam's position, and also the Bible's real and correct position towards Trinity, Jesus Christ, and everything you believe in from the Bible.

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

The Wisdom of the Bible - Scientific Facts

Job 26:7 - He stretches out the north over empty space; [He] hangs the earth on nothing. While other sources declared the earth sat on the back of an elephant or turtle, or was held up by Atlas, the Bible states what we now know to be true – “He hangs the earth on nothing.”

Hebrews 11:3 - By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Matter is made up of atoms which cannot be seen.

Leviticus 15:13 - 'And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in running water; then he shall be clean.
For centuries people washed in still water. Today we recognize the need to wash away germs with fresh water as stated in the Bible long ago.

Isaiah 40:22 [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in [/color]
Earth is spherical

Luke 17:34, 35
"I tell you, in that night there will be two [men] in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.
"Two [women] will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.

This passage describes the Lord’s second coming. It shows earth is revolving as it will be night and day at the same time.

Jude 1:13
raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Black holes described

Ecclesiates 1:7
All the rivers run into the sea, Yet the sea [is] not full; To the place from which the rivers come, There they return again.
Jeremiah 10:13
When He utters His voice, [There is] a multitude of waters in the heavens: "And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, He brings the wind out of His treasuries."
Job 36:27,28
“He draws up the drops of water,
    which distill as rain to the streams[a];
the clouds pour down their moisture
and abundant showers fall on mankind.

The water cycle is described in the Bible. The main stages of the hydrological cycle are now understood to be evaporation, condesation and precipitation.

Jeremiah 12:4
How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said, "He will not see our final end."
Extinction is explained. Since Adam and Eve sinned, there has been mourning and death among all creation.

Job 28:25
To establish a weight for the wind, And apportion the waters by measure.

It was once thought that air was weightless. Yet 4,000 years ago Job declared that God established “a weight for the wind.”

1 Corinthians 15:41
41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

The Bible says that each start is unique. It is now accepted that stars very in size and intensity.

Job 38:24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
Light can be split into its components.

Peace be upon you dear brother jesus.breadoflife,

Thank you for the Biblical verses.  While I am not sure that I agree with your interpretation on some of them, but most certainly we Muslims believe that the Bible may contain actual Divine Truth in it.  In other words, actual Holy Quran in it.  But whether it has actual un-altered Divine Revelations in it or not, we all agree that the Bible does contain Commands and Verses in it that are close to the original Truth.  So while their text may not be original, but their contents may.

Please visit: www.answering-christianity.com/warning.htm for more details.

But regardless brother, the points that are mentioned in the article at: www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm are not refuted by presenting Scientific Miracles from the Bible.  To me what they mean is that we should investigate the Bible more in the Light and Context of Islam.

I hope this helps, insha'Allah (if Allah Almighty is Willing).

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Hi brother Osama,

The previous message was accidentally posted before I could finish it. I started to answer some of the points on the answering-christianity in my first post (http://www.answering-christianity.com/blog/index.php/topic,861.msg2582.html#msg2582). Please read it when you have time. Also, you are welcome to explain which interpretations you disagree with.

I draw your attention to a verse in the Quran - Qur’an 18:83-86—And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnain. Say: “I shall recite to you something of his story.” Verily, We established him in the earth, and We gave him the means of everything. So he followed a way. Until, when he reached the setting place of the sun, he found it setting in a spring of black muddy (or hot) water. And he found near it a people. How can anyone find where the Sun sets? The Sun is also much larger than the earth.

Qur'an 23:14 Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones then (not and) clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create!

There seems to be a scientific error in this verse. According to modern embryologists including Professor Moore, the tissue from which bone originates - known as mesoderm - is the same tissue as that from which muscle (flesh) develops. Thus bone and muscle begin to develop simultaneously, rather than sequentially (as the Qur’an seems to be telling us).

The idea that bones are clothed with flesh is not only scientifically completely wrong, but seems to be directly copied from the ancient Greek doctor Galen’s hypothesis.

I direct you to another site which highlights a couple of further examples - http://www.answering-islam.org/BehindVeil/btv6.html

Brother, I posted the previous verses to highlight the wisdom in God's word. We cannot even begin to understand God and his works by using our brains and by looking at what seems right to us.

Job 11:7-9
â€œCan you find out the deep things of God?
Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?
8 It is higher than heaven[c]—what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol—what can you know?
9 Its measure is longer than the earth
    and broader than the sea.

His wisdom is far above ours. We can only know him if we open our hearts to Him; love God with all your heart - he can show you the truth more than I can. I do not know of any other God who could speak to me and answer me so clearly and miraculously when I pray to him and fill me with such joy in his presence. Whatever you may say about the Bible, I can see the words that are written in it coming true in my life.

God bless you,
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Hi brother,

I did read the explanation on the site but it was not satisfactory.

Surah 23:14 Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators!

To me this means a skeleton was created first and then clothed with flesh; I cannot see any other interpretation. However, I do see that depending on the version/translation, it varies. [http://www.answering-islam.org/Quran/Versions/023.014.html] Some say that the flesh came first, then the bone from the lump of flesh and then the flesh to clothe the bone but that is not the same as it being simultaneous.

May God bless you.
