@Abdullah have you read the refutations and the dawkins one as well ? what were your thoughts or own refutations ?

Regarding that Oxford study,my friend who's a Psychology major who i had find and read the actual study about that link said it was about 300 pages long if my memory serves me well and it was extremely over the top complicated. Maybe not what we might think it is. Cause i think all it really mentioned was people in rural/poorer situations believed in God while others in more social areas didn't.

A very interesting article i came across :

However,there are supposed refutations to this : Just google "Science increasingly makes the case for god" And you'll see one from Richard dawkins dot net and A link "No astrobio does not prove god"

Thoughts on the 2-3 articles ?

@Abdullah hasn't Maurice's claims been refuted ? (On the wikipedia section of Islam and science which is SWARMING with answering islam members which we should fix btw)

I mean... it depends on the level of the so called error.. all I've been trying to research is does it contain 1 error because one could be fatal. Also where could the proof of no errors be found somewhere reliable? (Is the main reason i still come on this site to keep my mind at ease).

Brother Ahmed Farooq mentioned how there were several prophets before us so they must've mentioned something regarding such scientific notions maybe.

The thing about the Quran is you have these Atheists,Christians and Jews screaming PLAGIARISM PLAGIARISM !!

When the Quran ITSELF stated several times that all the Quran is really about is the true older revelations that weren't altered or corrupt. By definition plagiarism is taking someone else's work and claiming it your own without the other knowing. All the Quran said is these are the unaltered verses which were previously mentioned before you.

Ironically it seems like the Christians and jews plagiarized their own books.

So the earth expanded first then started contracting ? Does the Quran refer to both events happening ? If so won't there be any contradiction between both theories ?

Wouldn't one assume the verse to be saying end of earth ?

Also,to clear misinterpretations. How can one differentiate between Land,Ground,Floor and Earth in the Quran since they all have the same meaning ?
