Did Jesus Died according to John in Revelation 1:18

Revelation 1:18 ►
I am he that lives, and was DEAD; and, behold, I am ALIVE for ever more, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

as the title mention according to John, but unfortunately there is no chain of transmission of scribes who did Greek written stories (a torn page of revelation dated from 2rd century) written in Egypt and relate it to Nasorean Hawariyun that use Aramaic-Hebrew alphabets of early 1st century.

Book of Revelation is basically about the coming of another Son of God (Adam was the other Son) sent by the Father to spread the message about serving Father/Yhwh.
That is the purpose of His other Son descend down. It states Not to serve the Son but to serve Father.

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
