Title: Why aren't Muslims united and aiming to spread the message?
Post by: Nawar on February 18, 2014, 04:55:46 PM
First, asalamu alaikum brothers and sisters:)
As you can tell from my question, I think this issue is just neglected with nowadays Muslims.. After the prophet peace and blessings be upon him passed away, Abu Bakr became the leader and then Umar (RA) and so on... From what I understand of the events that took place it seemed as though Muslims were working on spreading out and it felt as though they were one body.

Perhaps some point in time, generation after generation, we became divided. Then we stopped spreading--even though it's part of our duty... Until we got to where we are now. Honestly, I think were in pretty bad shape  :'(  I can't quite put my finger on it, but it feels as if something is missing. Maybe a leader? Like the prophet  :-[ Yes, we're in great numbers mashallah so we need leaders. Who and where are our leaders now?
What are your thoughts?

Hadiths.   :(

True Islam is derived from the Quran and not from the traditions or culture of Muslim people.

Quran 6:114, Shall I seek any other source of law other than Allah who has sent you THIS book fully detailed.

I think Hadiths are important part of Islam and that there's no harm in following them. It's the words of the Prophet peace be upon him...
