Assalamualaikum,
I have a question in regards to Quran verse 10:94. Why does it tell Muhammad pbuh to read past scriptures even though the Bible is corrupted? Does the verse mean to say "read the remnants of the truth from the Bible"? Also does ?????? ????? ?? ??? ?????? refer to physical and textual corruption of the Bible or tongue distortion and just hiding the truth? What does "right places" in Surah Maidah mean? Does it refer to the priests corrupting the text in the church (right places)? Does "their (right) places" (??????) refer to the church? I would like to know the answers please.

Wa alaikum assalam
In 10:94, It's a conditional hypothetical statement. However prophet Muhammad neither doubted nor asked. Rather, he believed:
Surah 2:285
"The apostle believed in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in Allah and His angels and His books and His apostles; We make no difference between any of His apostles; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course."
