As'salamu Alaikum Everyone,

I would like take this opportunity to wish you all and your families a happy and blessed year.  Sorry, I meant to post it here earlier but forgot :).  I did, however, post it on the site's whatsnew page.

Did you know New year was originally celebrated to commemorate Jesus's PBUH circumcision?Some christians still do.

Actually no. It was a pagan festival honoring Janus. Celebrating a New Year sucks. Wanna know why? Time is not oscillating forwards. More on that later. But to summarize: New Year's Eve sucks.

It's also to commemorate his circumcision. The christians 'borrowed' it.
