Title: Debate
Post by: RamziBinNabil on January 04, 2013, 06:20:10 AM
As-Salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh brothers and sisters,
I have a dream in life that I will try to acheive before dying 'In Sha' Allah Ta`ala. My dream is to form and organisation or website of some sort inviting the best debaters of Islam to work together and refute anti-Islamic claims as well as to preach Islam to the world. Brother Osama, I find you Ma Sha' Allah an exceptionally good debater and very knowledgable at both, Islam and Christianity. I ask if you can help accomplish my mission 'In Sha' Allah. Any other good debaters who want to help, don't hesitate to volunteer.

I go to AIS-R, the American International School of Riyadh, it is a co ed, american system school. It is awesome. I have never been to a better school. It celebrates EVERY religious holiday, not just Islamic, the education is above average, the students are the best, we are very multi religious and multi cultural, this could be the only school where bullying almost never occurs.  even though its an american school, people can express their and culture, eg. muslims could wear hijab, christians could wear a cross, arabs could wear a shmagh. We have all different types of courses, people treat others based in their personality, not beliefs, we respect other's belief. eg im friends with this ultraconservative girl (Im a guy) who refuses to let any guy touch her, even me, but she is one of my best friends. i wish all schools were like this, my only complaint is that it teaches only 3 languages: English, French, and Spanish.
If anyone of you teens could to this school, i seriously recommend you take it.

17 . Makkah .

And let me give you an advice : Don't rush it . You think that you gained the enough knowledge to do debates and go into religion conversations . But believe me , you might regret doing so while still not having enough . And I'm saying this out of experience . Firstly , learn about Islam and study it thoroughly , then we can talk about debating . Sure , it is a good thing to learn how to refute the false accusations these ill people make , but learning about Islam is more important .
