Yusuf Ali:[010:067] He it is That hath made you the night that ye may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you). Verily in this are signs for those who listen (to His Message).
Dr. Munir Munshey (one of www.answering-christianity.com's authors):[010:067] He has made the night, so you may find rest; and He has made the day bright. Surely, in it are proofs for any nation willing to listen!
Transliteration:[010:067] Huwa allathee jaAAala lakumu allayla litaskunoo feehi waalnnahara mubsiran inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin yasmaAAoona
10:67 هو الذي جعل لكم الليل لتسكنوا فيه والنهار مبصرا ان في ذلك لايات لقوم يسمعون
Sher Ali:[010:067] HE it is Who has made for you the night dark that you may rest therein, and the day full of light that you may pursue your occupations. Surely, therein are Signs for a people who listen to the divine Message.
Shakir:[010:067] He it is Who made for you the night that you might rest in it, and the day giving light; most surely there are signs in it for a people who would hear.
Pickthall:[010:067] He it is Who hath appointed for you the night that ye should rest therein and the day giving sight. Lo! herein verily are portents for a folk that heed.
Sale:[010:067] It is He who hath ordained the night for you, that ye may take your rest therein, and the clear day for labour: Verily herein are signs unto people who hearken.
Muhammad Al-Hilali & Muhsin Khan:[010:067] He it is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you). Verily, in this are Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for a people who listen (i.e. those who think deeply).
Palmer:[010:067] He it is who made for you the night, that ye might rest therein, and the day to see therein; verily, in that are signs unto a people who can hear.
Arberry:[010:067] It is He who made for you the night to repose in it, and the day, to see; surely in that are signs for a people who have ears.
Khalifa: (why is he here?)[010:067] He is the One who rendered the night for your rest, and rendered the day lighted. These are proofs for people who can hear.
Rodwell:[010:067] It is He who hath ordained for you the night wherein to rest, and the lightsome day. Verily in this are signs for those who hearken.
