Assalamu Aleikum Wa Rahmat’Allahi Wa Barakatu,

I would like to start by thanking brother Osama for all the great articles and pages he has put online over the years for well over a decade now, really may Allah SWT bless you and all your relatives for all that great work you have done Masha’Allah and Jazak’Allahu’Khair.

I just keep on learning more and more every time I visit your website which I have been doing for about the last 3 years now, and each time my iman (faith) deepens and becomes stronger thanks to Allah SWT and then you, and Insha’Allah on Yawm-Al-Qiyama you will be able to see for yourself all those hasanat (good deeds) you have piled up from all that good work you have accomplished. Insha’Allah, Ameen.

Also creating a forum board like this one so we can all come online and discuss matters pertaining to our Deen and other religions was a good idea as well, hopefully it can grow more and more Insha’Allah.

I have been meaning to register since day 1 or day 2 this board has been online but just haven’t had too much time unfortunately because of fasting, Taraweeh prayers and just daily tasks, etc, but now finally here I am :)

Anyways, so a quick point I thought I should mention is I was reading the article on the queen bee being the one referred to in the noble verses relating the roles of the female bee in Surat Al-Nahl (http://www.answering-christianity.com/queen_bee_miracle.htm), which by the way per brother Osama’s analysis Masha’Allah was making absolute sense, and it seems that for some reason only part 1 (The Noble Quran’s Claims) is present, but part 2 and 3 of the article are not there yet or have been cut out mistakenly I would think, unless the article is still a work-in-progress and I just happened to stumble upon it by researching around the site, and this could then be the reason I couldn’t find it on the main Scientific Miracles of the Quran page of AC (http://answering-christianity.com/ac20.htm#links) which would make sense.

--------------
EDIT: Also Arabic being my mother tongue I wanted to also 100% agree with the fact that the corrections brother Osama made to the translations of the verses were all correct and really basic ones like he says (and any unbiased/biased Arab speaker not lying would agree too) and it's just unfortunate translations indeed do change the true meanings of verses like this one where the main Ayat (sign) of the verse is a scientific fact which could only be verified today in modern time's scientific knowledge.

Translations may be alright most if not all the time to matters pertaining to religious commandments and deeds but when it comes to scientific knowledge where one word may have multiple meanings (and that dates back to Prophet Muhammad's SAWS time and even before that for the multiple meanings one certain word may be used for in the Arabic grammar, the word "Alaqa" being a prime example along side many others), mistranslations truly do destroy the entire meanings of some Noble Verses like brother Osama put it.
----------------

Hopefully I will be able to post more soon but for now I just wanted to thank brother Osama for all the great work, and also ask about that article relating to the queen bee since it was quite an interesting one like all the other articles on the site, especially all the ones relating to miraculous scientific knowledge in the Quran Alhamdulillah.

Assalamu Aleikum to everyone and Eid Mubarak as well (we have a joke over here now where we say Eid Morsi instead :)))

Subhan’Allah another quick point regarding the queen bee matter since I was re-reading the queen bee article and I now agree even more with brother Osama’s view about those two noble verses indeed referring to none else but the queen bee more-so than the majority of other descriptions that have been done on the subject mostly only discussing the part about the female bee being the one producing the honey (and only in the case of the producing of honey as far as the verses are concerned do “bees” in feminine plural come into play, apart from that all the feminine roles are done in the singular and as I will show in a bit can only be referring to the queen bee).

Indeed the first verse of the two describing the phenomenon does say:

“And thy Lord inspired the bees (to): build your cells in hills, on trees, and in (men's) habitations;” [16:68]

“Bees” as brother Osama put it referring to all bees in plural masculine.

Then comes according to me the first and most crucial part of the “roles” that would show in feminine singular, coupled with the “humbleness” aspect of the whole description as brother Osama put it, that the noble verses would indeed be referring to none else but the queen bee: the part about a female singular bee building its cells in hills, on trees and in men’s habitations – all on her own (female singular) – and in truth really in "humbleness" as if some research is done on the subject the only case where the hive might be getting built (its beginnings only) by a singular female bee is only by the queen bee, as otherwise when bees do sometimes change locations “scout” bees go on a search for a new location and on and on for the whole process until the whole hive has been moved along to the new location where they begin to build it up together, together as in many/multiple bees in the plural, not in the singular as is the case with those two verses. See: http://www.ehow.com/how-does_5215297_do-bees-build-hives_.html

That first part of the three "roles" being mentioned or more-so "actions" actually instead of "roles" in feminine singular was pretty significant to me because even though the other "actions" are also relevant, any bee may however "find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord" alone or "eat of all the produce (of the earth)" by storing up for instance honey inside of itself of course alone as well, whereas the extra building and expansion of the hive after it has been initially first built by the queen bee (and I don't mean when the bees are moving locations, I mean at the complete beginning when the queen bee is all on her own and hasn't formed the colony yet or laid any eggs for the first bees of said colony to be born) is always done in groups of multiple bees, you won't be seeing anytime soon one bee all on her own working on building/expanding the hive, and that is why this use of the singular feminine for the start of the hive building stage was a pretty striking one for this case.

The verse however is only referring to a single female bee in this case who would be starting it all up like brother Osama said all the way from the beginning at the hive location search stage and then on to the hive building stage.

And then finally the second verse continues on and switches back to the feminine plural, etc and brother Osama does a very good job of going on over the rest so no need for me to rego over the whole article :)

Anyways, Subhan'Allah. Let me know brothers and sisters what your thoughts are on this, and I would end my second post on this matter by also adding that the reason for all this switching in masculine plural to feminine singular to feminine plural and it all being scientifically accurate is pretty clear honestly, and that it wasn't just being made for nothing.

Brother Osama was right to be making "such a big deal out of this" :)

No problem at all, I am glad that some of the things I mentioned may prove to be useful for the article, I guess that means I’ll also insha’Allah be getting my own reward for every person who takes anything away from reading the article in the future or just plain simply reads it :)

That’s enough for me of a motivation to have tried helping a little, and there are other specifications that I have thought of which I haven’t posted yet but that are relevant and feel may prove useful as well, and I will be posting them soon enough insha’Allah in not so long.

Until then take care.

Wassalamu Aleikum akhi.
