How can we refute to the claim that our beloved Prophet Jesus Christ visited India and studied Buddhism then later came back to Israel and preached. Most of the Buddhist bring up this theory.

In my country it's a famous claim since I come from a Buddhist country. I'm not sure about your country. It's a claim made by the Buddhist.

quick search on google you'll find : return/manifestation as bodhisattva.
Since hellenistic Christians believe in God manifesting as person.  As for Buddhists, they view it as return in form of bodhisattva, and hence claim Jesus went to India to fulfill his bodhisattva role.
