Only 70000-700000 to paradise??

Assalamu alaykum,

Bukhari 3247: The Prophet said, "Verily! 70,000 or 700,000 of my followers will enter Paradise altogether; so that the first and the last amongst them will enter at the same time, and their faces will be glittering like the bright full moon."

Does this mean only 70000 or 700000 people will be dmitred to paradise? We have 1.8 billion muslims today and will keep having them for many years and we had billons and millions before us, but only 700000 will enter jannah, or is this a wrong interpretation of the hadith.

Someone else could answer thatd be great. You said it is about the 70000 that will not be brought to account. Firstly the hadith says 70000 or 700000 why is the number 700000 there doesnt this disprove that theiry, also this hadith says nothing about breing bought to account, but rather:70000 or 700000 of muhammad saws followers will enter jannah ALTOGETHER, so in total only 70 or 700 thousand is what the hadith is saying

Ok never mind this post, i have been able to find an explanation/ refutation myself, but now i have another peoblem. I will provide the explanation for this and the new problem in my next post, ao please if you could please answer that instead

Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d:
The Prophet (?) said, "Seventy-thousand or seven-hundred thousand of my followers (the narrator is in doubt as to the correct number) will enter Paradise holding each other till the first and the last of them enter Paradise at the same time, and their faces will have a glitter like that of the moon at night when it is full." Sahih Bukhari

This is Sahih hadees, which is narrated about a "dramatic entery", or a superb most enterance, I should say.

It is not about the total number from the whole Muslim nation, who would enter paradise,rather it mentions those who would enter in this superb manner.

The hadees from Ibn e Majah and Tirmizi is "Hasan", not sahih.

The figure would be somewhat like that,

70,000+(70,000x70)+ three handfulls of My Allah, SWT, the Most Merciful....

The 4970000 is the starting figure
