Walaikums salam dear brother,

Are you sure Allah permitted the title 'Son of God'? Because look at this verse.

(Sura Mai'dah 5:18) (Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created.."

First, why does Allah say that 'Nay, ye are but men'? The Jews and Christians never say they are begotten children of God nor do they think that they are more than human because of being 'sons of God'.

Actually, Allah Himself explains in the verse the reason behind the Jews' and Christians' calling themselves sons of God. "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved.- So they use this title to mean that they are beloved of God. But yet Allah accuses them. Doesn't that mean using the title 'Son of God' is blasphemy (let alone the title 'God'), no matter what you mean by that.

Also brother, verse 21:26 actually refers to angels.

[Ambiya 21:26-29] And they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour. They speak not before He speaks, and they act (in all things) by His Command. He knows what is before them, and what is behind them, and they offer no intercession except for those who are acceptable, and they stand in awe and reverence of His (Glory). If any of them should say, "I am a god besides Him", such a one We should reward with Hell: thus do We reward those who do wrong."

Also, if we say that Allah permitted the terms 'God' and 'Son of God' before, but prohibited it because of it's danger of shirk, that would mean He was not aware of the danger when He permitted it (Nauzubillah, indeed Allah is All-knowing, Wise). Though it is also possible that He permitted the term 'son of god' to test them (i.e. whether they cross the limit or not, which they did), and finally prohibited it for us, like art and music, which were permitted before. But, the term 'son of God' is much more serious than art and music!

I am not trying to refute you dear brother, just trying to discuss. It's indeed a serious matter. So could you please clarify the things I have shown?

I personally never heard of that guy named Benny Hinn. But I don't care if he and people like him are fraud or not. As I said earlier, people can demonstrate great miracles with the help of Satan. In fact, some sahabas even executed such sorcerers. For example, as Imam Bukhari said in his history bookj, sahabi Zundub al-azdi (RA) beheaded a sorcerer in the court of Al-walid ibn abdul Malik; who used to behead people and bring them back to life (a perfect deception). And bro Sh. Truthseeker, you can tell your friend this:

"For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect" (Matthew 24:24)

You know, christians say when you are filled with holy spirit, you can show miracles and prophesy (i.e. you will become a prophet as holy spirit is considered to be God, Nauzubillah)

And also, Paul the false prophet, perhaps showed some miracles (with the help of satan of course) and deceived the elect or the Hawari, may Allah be pleased with them!

Also, the present zionist0-christian civilization is often considered as Masih ad dajjal, the false christ, according to Islamic and revelation prophesies! You know the Islamic one eye prophecy.

@Abdullah, JajakAllahu khair for that stuff, pal. The first one, the evil left eye of Horus, reminds me of Masih ad Dajjal!

Now, to all brothers, I think further discussion on this topic would be unnecessary, so let's just close this. Already too much posts on a simple matter: a symbol not used by Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Khulafa-e-Rashideen (May Allah be pleased with them) or the Salf-e-Saleheen (May Allah have mercy on them); rather used by pagans for their deities for centuries. So personally, I prefer to keep myself hundred yards away from this symbol, totally absent in Quran and Sunnah. After all that have been posted here, it's completely up to you whether you will accept this symbol or reject it, as Islam is the religion of peace!

The atheist judge Allah by human standard, but the truth is Allah is not like man. Nothing is like him (Shura:11). So this argument..

Even Noble human doesn't care if other people slander him or doesn't give him proper thanks for what he does for them, why Allah cares then??

...is actually invalid. Islam is the only religion which explains this, because all other religions are infected by anthropomorphism.

Allah is an intelligent being who loves men.

LOL! This argument applies on the christians, not muslims. Obviously Allah doesn't love mushriks, sinners who don't repent etc.

And if a man does shirk, why Allah cares??

Because He has the ultimate knowledge. By human standard, shirk may look like something ordinary. That's why Allah has revealed scriptures with His Divine Wisdom, revealing the true nature of shirk and telling us how dangerous it is!

If the Atheist don't understand this simple matter, they are on their own.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother Tahmeed and to all of the brothers reading this board,

I wasn't the one who discovered the number 19 Miracle and the other Numerical Miracles, dear brother.  There is nothing random about them.  When we for example see that Noble Surah (Chapter) Nuh (Noah) is written in exactly 950 Noble Letters, and Allah Almighty Said that Prophet Nuh lived among his people for 950 years in the same Noble Surah, then there is nothing random about this one.  Not only that, but there are many other Numerical patterns discovered in the Glorious Quran that are linked to the number of years.  For example, Allah Almighty's two Divine Promises to the people of Israel's destruction were each written in 75 letters.  And the two sets of Noble Verses for the two Promises are after each others in the same Noble Surah.  So the first set of Noble Verses that speak about the first Promise which took place were written in 75 Letters, and the second set of Noble Verses that speak about the future destruction were written also in 75 Letters. 

Similarly, when we look into the number 19 Miracle, which Allah Almighty called it "One of the  Mighty Ones" in Noble Verses 74:30-37 and we find out that It is indeed a MIGHTY MIRACLE, then there is nothing random about this either.  What brother Adnan Al-Refaie did was he took the Arabic alphabets and calculated how many times each letter occurs in the Glorious Quran, since the Glorious Quran's Letters are Miraculous as we've seen in the few examples that I gave above and many more like them.  Brother Adnan then built a simple numerical table where the highest occurring letter would have the value 1, and the second highest would carry the value 2, and so on.  He then started calculating the numerical values of the Noble Letters in the Glorious Quran and came up with these mighty discoveries.

But if you r from indian subcontinent, u will see some peers using this number in tabiz (amulets) often. These amulets r considered to bring fortune, success or healing. That's when it gets bidat , kufr and shirk.

Same  here in Bangladesh...

It's lailatul barat if readers don't understand. Laila means night and barat means fate or fortune. They say in this night our fates till the next night in the next year are written. But I think that's wrong cuz our fate is written by Allah long ago!

As far as I know, no hadiths say anything about this night. I heard scholars in peace TV and also ahle hadith scolars say the same. Most deobandis don't like any of them, that's why they observe this night

Perhaps there is one hadith, but it doesn't say anything about the prophet's special prayer or 'Amal' in this particular night.

And also, things people do in this night often contains bidat.

And a little personal question brother Uzair, do people make 'Halua's or 'sweets' in this night in ur country? They do here. And it looks like a night for eating rather than a night for prayer to me

I personally don't observe it and didn't yesterday.
