Question -- Answer needed
« on: October 16, 2014, 03:32:55 PM »
Assalamu Alaikum . The question is for everyone . Should the Islamic Shariah be spread by the sword to everyone including Non-Muslims ? Should we conquer and conquer when we have big area and capabilities ? Some's answer is affirmative some others are not, So should we do it as others substantiate this claim according to their interpretations of Surah 9:29 ??
And they substantiate their claims with the Islamic Conquests that took place previously .

I hope that everyone replies with evidences

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother Hassan,

Why conquer the world with military and violence when you could reach people and convert them to Islam via the media?  After all, isn't the soul purpose of spreading Islam to all of mankind is to actually reach them and give them the Divine Truth of Islam?

Today's caliber is different.  Even if a group invades a town or a city, it will badly reflect on their cause, because the world today is a small village.  What happens thousands of miles away could be watched live on television today, and uploaded on Youtube and the rest of the internet.  Our Jihad today should be through writing comprehensive websites and creating media channels and reach people.  Late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat scolded the Muslims for not even having the Holy Quran translated into the world's languages.  The Bible is, but the Quran till this day isn't.  Let alone translating materials and books that are very valuable in spreading Islam.

The bottom line is this:  Muslims take the back seat when it comes to caring about spreading Islam.  The oil rich wahabies have really damaged the Sunni Islam BIG TIME.  Their ridiculous backward thinking and corrupt ways of lives and hypocrisies have cost Islam missing out on great gold mines of nations.  I don't refer to money here.  I am referring to great opportunities of spreading Islam to people throughout the world.  Look at how the Christians are operating.  Their missionaries are all over the world!  And of course, forget the Shias and their blasphemies and stupidities.  Their false version of "Islam" is a version of monkies.  This statement is fully materialized when you see them celebrate their "holy" holidays:

1-  Beating themselves with swords and knives and rocks on the heads, and even beating their children.
2-  Worshiping and deifying creations from dust.
3-  Ample corrupt laws that have no basis in the Glorious Quran and Sunnah.
4-  And on and on and on...

Those animals are a whole mental case of their own.

You don't need to fight anyone today.  All we need is to put our resources together to actively spread Islam to all of mankind.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

regarding (Surah 9:29). If we read the verse before that Surah 9:28. We will understand that the command to war is to cleanse the House of God in the East from falsehood.

As Mekkah stronghold grew, there will be skirmishes attacking the place and of course Muslims have to participate in war to protect it.
War does not end in Mekkah but it shall end in the House of God in the West. And thats just about it. Prophecy mentioned about conquest of Al-quds and did not say that they shall do war to India, do war to China or whole world, liberate the world from idol worshiping by brute and sword.

Basically our Holy war revolves around defending these two Houses of God from being infiltrated by falsehood. Even the prophecies of war with Constantinople becoming Islam and descend of Jesus in Syria has got to do with defending the House of God in the West. As Romans keep on doing crusades onto Al-Quds, and in the latter situation Dajjal wish to infiltrate the House of God and bring falsehood into it. So Muslims need to protect it with their life and fight the enemies.

Apart from that, message of Islam should be conveyed to the world with wisdom + beautiful preaching. Sometimes as simple as just writing invitation letters to Islam.

Walaikum Al Salam , Dear brother Osama .

Thanks for replying , to you and to "Submit " . I understand your points, but I wasn't alluding into what Shias or some others believe, I just wanted to make everything quite clear . Now some others let's say, are talking about the Conquests that time as a proof to the claim that Shariah is to be spread through the sword . So how do you reply to such claims ? Why did the Prophet conquer ? that is the point , and the prophet promised of the conquest of Qustantiniyya in Turkey( Not sure about the English correct spelling ) . So how will they be "opened " or "conquered " ( Fath ) ? And HOW will the promised Caliphate return if our enemies are still killing Muslims every where ? ?

Note : What I said has nothing to do with the ideas of political groups like Al Qaeda or etc . .

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother Hassan,

Like I mentioned above, akhi, the caliber of today is different.  We can reach all of mankind (literally!) without firing a single bullet.  We can do far greater Jihad today than literalist might think.  Literalists are always a problem in any religion, because they don't think past their rear ends.  They rarely see the Wisdom behind any Law.  They're just mere robots.

The Wisdom of Jihad 1,400 years ago was to reach people.  It is an obligation upon every Muslim to spread Islam.  That is a must.  But how you go about it makes all of the difference.  Did not Prophet Muhammad say: بلغو عني ولو اية (Spread Islam after me even with one Noble Verse)?  And did not Allah Almighty also Say in the Holy Quran:

"Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with It (the Quran)(The Noble Quran, 25:52)"

Visit: http://www.answering-christianity.com/peaceful_jihad.htm

Like I said, building comprehensive websites and channels, and reaching people through the media and in person is far better than declaring wars on them.  The world today is a small village when it comes to spreading information.  Any violence will reflect negatively against the Cause.

Look at the missionaries of today.  Christianity has spread to many nations through missionary work.  Now I grant that there are some countries (ex: China) that criminalize the spreading of any religion.  But throughout the overwhelming majority of the world, you could just send your missionaries and spread Islam openly and freely.

There is so much Islam has to offer to humanity.  And there are deep roots of Islam throughout the religious texts of several of the big religions out there.  People are just ignorant about all of this.  The average Jews and Christians, for example, are almost entirely ignorant about Islam's roots in their Bible, and the how the Bible thoroughly speaks about Islam and the coming of Islam.  Even Jesus Christ will return as an Arab, not an Israelite, according to the Bible itself.  You can read about all of this at:

(and see the main capsule table of the main page)

I hope this helps, Insha'Allah.

Take care,

Now some others let's say, are talking about the Conquests that time as a proof to the claim that Shariah is to be spread through the sword . So how do you reply to such claims ? Why did the Prophet conquer ?

first the basis of spilling blood. we know even before the creation of humans, sayings of angels mentioned about killing and bloodshed wars among humans. This is nature of human when conflict of interest arose between them, so they end up with killings and wars.

conflict of interest that may led to bloodshed even among muslims can be due to choosing political figures governing state, dispute of sovereignty of lands.

reason to war is to counter the hostility made by enemies. if enemies choose peace, then there should not be any reason to war.

that is the point , and the prophet promised of the conquest of Qustantiniyya in Turkey( Not sure about the English correct spelling ) . So how will they be "opened " or "conquered " ( Fath ) ? And HOW will the promised Caliphate return if our enemies are still killing Muslims every where ? ?

if muslims are being killed, thus if they do not have any means to defend and retaliate. they should leave the transgressors until they possess the means to reclaim back what was theirs. But if the transgressors are among muslims, thus mightier third party should jump in to initiate peace between them.

about prophecies of conquest, it is certainly due to enemies engaging in wars and hostile towards those who spread the religion of God. and if they seize to be hostile, so does Muslim need to stop to be hostile and seek peace.

sharia being implemented by swords,
prophet s.a.w sent out his companions to preach about one God to many regions without troops. Only once Islam grew in those regions, and if those that dislike the growth of Muslimeens began to be murdering Muslims and thus retaliation is needed by means of war too.

Prohibit killing non Muslim with peace agreement:

8: 72. Verily, those who believed, and emigrated and strove hard and fought with their property and their lives in the Cause of Allah as well as those who gave (them) asylum and help, - these are (all) allies to one another. And as to those who believed but did not emigrate (to you O Muhammad SAW), you owe no duty of protection to them until they emigrate, but if they seek your help in religion, it is your duty to help them except against a people with whom you have a treaty of mutual alliance, and Allah is the All-Seer of what you do.
9: 4. Except those of the Mushrikûn with whom you have a treaty, and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor have supported anyone against you. So fulfill their treaty to them to the end of their term. Surely Allah loves Al- Mattaqûn
4: 90. Except those who join a group, between you and whom there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with their breasts restraining from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. Had Allah willed, indeed He would have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they withdraw from you, and fight not against you, and offer you peace, then Allah has opened no way for you against them.
91. You will find others that wish to have security from you and security from their people. Every time they are sent back to temptation, they yield thereto. If they withdraw not from you, nor offer you peace, nor restrain their hands, take (hold) of them and kill them wherever you find them. In their case, We have provided you with a clear warrant against them.
Bukhari :: Book 9 :: Volume 83 :: Hadith 49
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:
The Prophet said, "Whoever killed a Mu'ahid (a person who is granted the pledge of protection by the Muslims) shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise though its fragrance can be smelt at a distance of forty years (of traveling)."
Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 53 :: Hadith 391

Forced conversion prohibited:

Dawud :: Book 14 : Hadith 2676
2:256  Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error.
2: 272. Not upon you (Muhammad SAW) is their guidance, but Allah guides whom He wills. And whatever you spend in good, it is for yourselves, when you spend not except seeking Allah’s Countenance. And whatever you spend in good, it will be repaid to you in full, and you shall not be wronged.
4:28 “If then they turn away, We have not sent thee as a guard
over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the message).
5: 92. And obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and beware (of even coming near to drinking or gambling or Al¬Ansâb, or Al¬Azlâm, etc.) and fear Allah. Then if you turn away, you should know that it is Our Messenger's duty to convey (the Message) in the clearest way.
6: 48. And We send not the Messengers but as givers of glad tidings and as warners. So whosoever believes and does righteous good deeds, upon such shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve.

6: 66. But your people (O Muhammad SAW) have denied it (the Qur'ân) though it is the truth. Say: "I am not responsible for your affairs."

67. For every news there is a fact, i.e. for everything there is an appointed term (and it is also said that for every deed there is a recompense) and you will come to know.

68. And when you (Muhammad SAW) see those who engage in a false conversation about Our Verses (of the Qur'ân) by mocking at them, stay away from them till they turn to another topic. And if Shaitân (Satan) causes you to forget, then after the remembrance sit not you in the company of those people who are the Zâlimûn

69. Those who fear Allah, keep their duty to Him and avoid evil are not responsible for them (the disbelievers) in any case, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may avoid that (mockery at the Qur'ân).

70. And leave alone those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But remind (them) with it (the Qur'ân) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allah, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him. Such are they who are given up to destruction because of that which they have earned. For them will be a drink of boiling water and a painful torment because they used to disbelieve.

The Prophet said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!")
Muslim :: Book 32 : Hadith  6207,6209,6210,6212,6213
Bukhari 1.3.73
Dawud :: Book 41 : Hadith 4885
Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 56 :: Hadith 692
Avoid suspicious, inquisitive, spy, jealousy, hate to fellow-brothers and servants of Allah
60:12 O Prophet! When believing women come to you to give you the Bai'â (pledge), that they will not associate anything in worship with Allâh, that they will not steal, that they will not commit illegal sexual intercourse, that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood (i.e. by making illegal children belonging to their husbands), and that they will not disobey you in any Ma'rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that which Islâm ordains) then accept their Bai'â (pledge), and ask Allâh to forgive them, Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Muslim :: Book 32 : Hadith 6214
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Avoid suspicion[doubt, guessing], for suspicion is the gravest lie in talk and do not be inquisitive about one another and do not spy upon one another and do not feel envy with the other, and nurse no malice, and nurse no aversion and hostility against one another. And be fellow-brothers and servants of Allah.
Muslim :: Book 32 : Hadith 6217
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of A'mash with the same chain of transmit ters (and the words are):" Don't sever relations of kinship, don't bear enmity against one another, don't bear aversion against one another and don't feel envy against the other and live as fellow-brothers as Allah has commanded you.
Muslim :: Book 32 : Hadith 6208
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Don't bear aversion against one another and don't be jealous of one another and be servants of Allah.
Muslim :: Book 32 : Hadith 6205
Anas b. Malik reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Neither nurse mutual hatred, nor jealousy, nor enmity[enemy], and become as fellow. Brothers and servants of Allah. It is not lawful for a Muslim that he should keep his relations estranged with his brother beyond three days.
Malik :: Book 47 : Hadith 47.4.15
Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Beware of suspicion. Suspicion is the most untrue speech. Do not spy and do not eavesdrop. Do not compete with each other and do not envy each other and do not hate each other and do not shun each other. Be slaves of Allah, brothers."
Bukhari :: Book 3 :: Volume 34 :: Hadith 267
Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir:
The Prophet said "Both legal and illegal things are obvious, and in between them are (suspicious) doubtful matters. So who-ever forsakes those doubtful things lest he may commit a sin, will definitely avoid what is clearly illegal; and who-ever indulges in these (suspicious) doubtful things bravely, is likely to commit what is clearly illegal. Sins are Allah's Hima (i.e. private pasture) and whoever pastures (his sheep) near it, is likely to get in it at any moment."
Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 2 :: Hadith 49
Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir:
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'Both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (suspicious) things and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from these suspicious things saves his religion and his honor. And whoever indulges in these suspicious things is like a shepherd who grazes (his animals) near the Hima (private pasture) of someone else and at any moment he is liable to get in it. (O people!) Beware! Every king has a Hima and the Hima of Allah on the earth is His illegal (forbidden) things. Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.

People blood & properties, were honors and protected/sacred like Mecca:

4: 148. Allah does not like that the evil should be uttered in public except by him who has been wronged. And Allah is Ever All Hearer, All Knower.
17: 70. And indeed We have honoured the Children of Adam, and We have carried them on land and sea, and have provided them with At-Taiyibât (lawful good things), and have preferred them above many of those whom We have created with a marked preference.
Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 3 :: Hadith 67,105
Narrated Abu Bakra:
The Prophet said. No doubt your blood, property, the sub-narrator Muhammad thought that Abu Bakra had also mentioned and your honor (chastity), are sacred to one another as is the sanctity of this day of yours in this month of yours. It is incumbent on those who are present to inform those who are absent." (Muhammad the Subnarrator used to say, "Allah's Apostle told the truth.") The Prophet repeated twice: "No doubt! Haven't I conveyed Allah's message to you.

Being patience:
3: 120. If a good befalls you, it grieves them, but if some evil overtakes you, they rejoice at it. But if you remain patient and become Al-Muttaqûn not the least harm will their cunning do to you. Surely, Allah surrounds all that they do.
50: 39. So bear with patience (O Muhammad SAW) all that they say, and glorify the Praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting (i.e. the Fajr, Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers) .
3: 186. You shall certainly be tried and tested in your wealth and properties and in your personal selves, and you shall certainly hear much that will grieve you from those who received the Scripture before you (Jews and Christians) and from those who ascribe partners to Allah, but if you persevere patiently, and become Al-Muttaqûn  then verily, that will be a determining factor in all affairs, and that is from the great matters.
41: 34. The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allah ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.
3: 200. O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be successful.
13: 24. "Salâmun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you) for that you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final home!"
68:48. So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord,
70: 5. So be patient (O Muhammad SAW ), with a good patience.
73: 10. And be patient (O Muhammad SAW) with what they say, and keep away from them in a good way.
74: 7. And be patient for the sake of your Lord (i.e. perform your duty to Allah)!

Bukhari :: Book 8 :: Volume 73 :: Hadith 135
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger."

Partiality between the people prohibited:keep always universal brotherhood

4:1. O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All Watcher over you.
6: 98. It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and has given you a place of residing (on the earth or in your mother's wombs) and a place of storage [in the earth (in your graves) or in your father's loins]. Indeed, We have explained in detail Our revelations (this Qur'ân) for people who understand.
49: 13. O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqûn . Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.
5: 69. Surely, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messenger Muhammad SAW and all that was revealed to him from Allah), those who are the Jews and the Sabians and the Christians, - whosoever believed in Allah and the Last Day, and worked righteousness, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
2: 62. Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve .
Bukhari :: Book 8 :: Volume 81 :: Hadith 779
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Quraish people became very worried about the Makhzumiya lady who had committed theft. They said, "Nobody can speak (in favor of the lady) to Allah's Apostle and nobody dares do that except Usama who is the favorite of Allah's Apostle. " When Usama spoke to Allah's Apostle about that matter, Allah's Apostle said, "Do you intercede (with me) to violate one of the legal punishment of Allah?" Then he got up and addressed the people, saying, "O people! The nations before you went astray because if a noble person committed theft, they used to leave him, but if a weak person among them committed theft, they used to inflict the legal punishment on him. By Allah, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad committed theft, Muhammad will cut off her hand.!"
Dawud :: Book 39 : Hadith 4479
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas:
Qurayzah and Nadir (were two Jewish tribes). An-Nadir were nobler than Qurayzah. When a man of Qurayzah killed a man of an-Nadir, he would be killed. But if a man of an-Nadir killed a man of Qurayzah, a hundred wasq of dates would be paid as blood-money. When Prophethood was bestowed upon the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him), a man of an-Nadir killed a man of Qurayzah.
They said: Give him to us, we shall kill him. They replied: We have the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) between you and us. So they came to him.
Thereupon the following verse was revealed: "If thou judge, judge in equity between them." "In equity" means life for a life.
The following verse was then revealed: "Do they seek of a judgment of (the days) ignorance?"
Bukhari :: Book 3 :: Volume 40 :: Hadith 542, 548,549,550
Bukhari  4.52.132[a normal women honored better than daughter of prophet]

Jihad declare only the people who broken the agreement/mischief land/terrorism/injustice

22:39. Permission to fight is given to those (i.e. believers against disbelievers), who are fighting them, (and) because they (believers) have been wronged, and surely, Allâh is Able to give them (believers) victory
8: 56. They are those with whom you made a covenant, but they break their covenant every time and they do not fear Allâh.
57. So if you gain the mastery over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who are behind them, so that they may learn a lesson.
58. If you (O Muhammad SAW) fear treachery from any people throw back (their covenant) to them (so as to be) on equal terms (that there will be no more covenant between you and them). Certainly Allâh likes not the treacherous.
59. And let not those who disbelieve think that they can outstrip (escape from the punishment). Verily, they will never be able to save themselves (from Allâh's Punishment).
60: 9. It is only as regards those who fought against you on account of religion, and have driven you out of your homes, and helped to drive you out, that Allah forbids you to befriend them. And whosoever will befriend them, then such are the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers those who disobey Allah).
42: 42. The way (of blame) is only against those who oppress men and wrongly rebel in the earth, for such there will be a painful torment.
9: 12. But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and attack your religion with disapproval and criticism then fight (you) the leaders of disbelief (chiefs of Quraish - pagans of Makah) - for surely their oaths are nothing to them - so that they may stop (evil actions).
9:13. Will you not fight a people who have violated their oaths (pagans of Makah) and intended to expel the Messenger, while they did attack you first? Do you fear them? Allah has more right that you should fear Him, if you are believers.
4: 75. And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allah, and for those weak, ill-treated and oppressed among men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and rise for us from You one who will protect, and rise for us from You one who will help."
5: 33. The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.
42: 39. And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend
themselves.[ avenge themselves in a just manner, restoring their rights and not
3: 111. They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance; and if they fight against you, they will show you their backs, and they will not be helped.
112. Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allâh, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh's disobedience, crimes and sins).
Dawud :: Book 38 : Hadith 4357
……"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Apostle and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is execution or crucifixion."
Bukhari :: Book 7 :: Volume 63 :: Hadith 210
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The pagans were of two kinds as regards their relationship to the Prophet and the Believers. Some of them were those with whom the Prophet was at war and used to fight against, and they used to fight him; the others were those with whom the Prophet made a treaty, and neither did the Prophet fight them, nor did they fight him…….
Muslim :: Book 1 : Hadith 176
…………Sa'd said: By Allah, I would never kill any Muslim so long as a person with a heavy belly, i. e., Usama, would not kill. Upon this a person remarked: Did Allah not say this: And fight them until there is no more mischief and religion is wholly for Allah? Sa'd said: We fought so that there should be no mischief, but you and your companions wish to fight so that there should be mischief.
Muslim :: Book 1 : Hadith 30
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs rest with Allah.

Before jihad three option to non Muslim (1) accept islam,2) migration 3) pay jiziya)

Muslim :: Book 19 : Hadith 4294,4292
Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of Muhairs and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajirs. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muilims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai' except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jiziya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them.
Muslim :: Book 31 : Hadith 5918
'Ali said: Allah's Messenger, I will fight them until they are like us. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Advance cautiously until you reach their open places, thereafter invite them to Islam and inform them what is obligatory for them from the rights of Allah
[1) accept islam,2) migration 3) pay jiziya Muslim :: Book 19 : Hadith 4294,92 ], for, by Allah, if Allah guides aright even one person through you that is better for you than to possess the most valuable of the camels.

Non Muslim (dhimmi) was protected: Jew agreed:

Muslim :: Book 30 : Hadith 5853
The Jew went to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Abu'l-Qasim, I am a Dhimmi and (thus need your protection) by a covenant, and added: Such and such person has given a blow upon my face. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Why did you give a blow on his face? He said: Allah's Messenger, this man said: By Him Who chose Moses (peace be upon him) amongst mankind, whereas you are living amongst us. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) became angry and signs of anger could be seen on his face, and then said: Don't make distinction amongst the Prophets of Allah.
Bukhari :: Book 5 :: Volume 57 :: Hadith 50
I also recommend him concerning Allah's and His Apostle's protectees (i.e. Dhimmis) to fulfill their contracts and to fight for them and not to overburden them with what is beyond their ability."
Bukhari :: Book 9 :: Volume 83 :: Hadith 52
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
A Jew whose face had been slapped (by someone), came to the Prophet and said, "O Muhammad! A man from your Ansari companions slapped me. " The Prophet said, "Call him". They called him and the Prophet asked him, "Why did you slap his face?" He said, "O Allah's Apostle! While I was passing by the Jews, I heard him saying, 'By Him Who chose Moses above all the human beings.' I said (protestingly), 'Even above Muhammad?' So I became furious and slapped him." The Prophet said, "Do not give me preference to other prophets, for the people will become unconscious on the Day of Resurrection and I will be the first to gain conscious, and behold, I will Find Moses holding one of the pillars of the Throne (of Allah). Then I will not know whether he has become conscious before me or he has been exempted because of his unconsciousness at the mountain (during his worldly life) which he received."

I know all what you mentioned , I am not talking about force conversion or anything you appealed to , Thanks for the references anyway .

But the case stands here , some Muslims post  :

9:29
Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

And they substantiate the claim of Shariah is to be shared through sword with some narrations existing in Tafsir books like of Al Qurtubi . And they conclude the following :

"" When you have a place and ability and power , you have to expand , calling the ones beside your state , Accept Islam , Pay the Jizyah , Or be ruined in our attack , with no compulsion to the people to accept religion but to merely share Shariah and rule the earth by what Allah revealed ""

And the above is indeed considered as an offensive method to share Shariah , So do you agree with them or their sources ? and how do you reply ? with evidences please .. Thanks .

Note : I am not attempting to interrogate anyone , I am just trying to collect opinions . Osama, I want also your opinion and with evidences  . Salam .
