GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Isaiah 9
« on: November 29, 2016, 02:13:23 AM »
Assalamun Alaikum

I have read the prophecy in Isaiah 9 which many Christians think that the prophecy refers to Jesus Christ. I read the links which refute their claim.  The links are given below.
https://discover-the-truth.com/2013/06/25/isaiah-96-messiah-god/
http://www.unveiling-christianity.org/2008/10/25/a-study-of-isaiah-96/
http://www.islamreligion.com/articles/267/trinitarian-verses-part-1/
However in the above links which I posted they do not mention who that prophecy refers to. I read another article which speaks about the prophecy and claims that it refers to none other than our beloved Prophet Muhammad. The link is given below.

Please shed some light in this.
Thank you

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Adultery in Christianity
« on: October 13, 2016, 10:39:42 AM »
According to the Old testament the punishment for Adultery is Stoning to Death. Even Jesus(PBUH) praised the Old testament laws.

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

But when it came to stoning of the women he contradicted the old testament laws by saying "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone"

So was Jesus against stoning an adulterer?

Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas:
A blind man had a slave-mother who used to abuse the Prophet (ﷺ) and disparage him. He forbade her but she did not stop. He rebuked her but she did not give up her habit. One night she began to slander the Prophet (ﷺ) and abuse him. So he took a dagger, placed it on her belly, pressed it, and killed her. A child who came between her legs was smeared with the blood that was there. [..] He sat before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: Messenger of Allah! I am her master; she used to abuse you and disparage you. I forbade her, but she did not stop, and I rebuked her, but she did not abandon her habit. I have two sons like pearls from her, and she was my companion. Last night she began to abuse and disparage you. So I took a dagger, put it on her belly and pressed it till I killed her.
Thereupon the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood.

—— Sunan Abi Dawud 4361, Eng Book 39, Hadith 4348, Book 40, Hadith 11

Many people claim that the prophet allowed to kill people who insulted him and quote the above Hadith. Please refute this.

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Slavery
« on: August 04, 2016, 11:18:39 AM »
Here is the quote from Ibn Ishaq's "Sirat Rasulallah", translated as "The Life of Muhammad", by A. Guillaume, (page 496):

"So the apostle called Burayra (Aisha's slave) to ask her, and Ali got up and gave her a violent beating saying, "Tell the apostle the truth,"....

Muhammad did not stop Ali from beating the slave.

According to the Quran slaves should be treated nicely. So is the narration from Ibn Ishaqs account true?

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / The Religion of Peace
« on: August 02, 2016, 05:53:05 AM »
Assalamu Alaikum

I came across an anti-Islamic site called the "Religion of Peace". It criticizes Islam to a great extent. The link to the main page of the site is given below.

https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/

The site presents our beloved Prophet in a bad way. The links to those pages are given below. I'll give three links and explain what each of these links talk about.
  • The First Link compares Jesus and Muhammad. It consists of three tables presenting their character, Followers and Teachings
  • The Second Link consists of an entire article of prophet Muhammad
  • The Third Link Consists of "Myths of Muhammad" using the Hadith and other Islamic sources.
The Links are given below.

https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/muhammad/life-of-muhammad.aspx

Please can someone refute to this.

Thank You

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Apostasy
« on: July 31, 2016, 10:53:30 AM »
Assalamu Alaikum

Dear brother

I read your article on Apostasy in the below link. It was interesting and convincing. I have been researching for years on why Islam Executes Apostates and I have found it on this site.
http://www.answering-christianity.com/apostates.htm

But there was another article (not from this site) on Apostasy that states that Apostates should be killed. But they have given valid reasons. It is in contradictory to your article which states that Apostates should not be killed and there is absolute freedom of religion in Islam. Your article states that it was a temporary law at the time of the prophet as Islam was still growing.

So I am not sure which article is accurate. The link for the other article on Apostasy is given below.
http://www.letmeturnthetables.com/2012/05/punishment-apostasy-islam-rationale.html

Please help me on this

Thank You

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Refute Ali Sina
« on: July 30, 2016, 02:16:35 PM »
Assalamu Alaikum

Dear Brother Sina lists references to Muhammad's actions and offers $50,000 to anyone who can disprove his charge that Muhammad was "a narcissist, a misogynist, a rapist, a pedophile, a lecher, a torturer, a mass murderer, a cult leader, an assassin, a terrorist, a madman and a looter"
How can someone refute this?

Thank You

I went through this website and it is very convincing. I would like to use some of us material in my blog too. Don't worry I'll credit the source. But I want to know why the article on "Muhammad taking up arms and Christ didn't" does not exist. When I click on its link the same page appears. Please do something I want to read that article.
