Is the Islam the fruit of pagan religions?
« on: June 10, 2016, 03:18:08 PM »
Salam Aleikum, I founded an articule that I think should be refuted because in searching-islam.com I did not found any articule about this (may be I searched bad). Now, the articule says that the Islam, and specifically the Ramadan have their origin in pagan rituals which were copied by the Islam, what do you opine of this? http://www.islam-bible-prophecy.com/book/the-islamic-pagan-root.pdf

 Assalamu alaykum,

The worst Christians are the Arab Christians. They are filthy, disgusting wolves who want to trick people. Regarding the moon God and the crecent moon stuff:

http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Sources/Allah/moongods.html#15

The rest is debunked over here by brother Sami Zaatari:

http://www.answering-christianity.com/sami_zaatri/rebuttal_to_silas_6.htm

Christianity also has many pagan things in it too! Even Christmas is pagan! Ask any priest and he will admit that it has no place in Christianity!

Read this:
http://thefactsaboutislam.blogspot.com/2013/06/refuted-pagan-origins-of-islamic.html?m=1

I suggest that you don't enter anti-Islamic sites unless you have a ridiculously strong faith. Even I rarely enter anti-Islamic sites. Whenever the waswas comes to you say, "Amantu bil-lahi wa rasulihi". آمنة بالله و رسوله

Salam Aleikum brothers, thanks for the answer, may God pays you. Now, that theory is a new theory, because I had not listened a theory which said that the Islam comes from the Hinduism; equally, thanks for all and the rebuttal, salam aleikum.

Assalamu alaykum brother Sharif,

The evidence that they give is stupid.

FUN FACT: Prophet Muhammad can be found in the Hindu scriptures! http://www.cyberistan.org/islamic/prophhs.html

Asalam ul lakum brothers im new to this site. May allah bless u all and ramadan mubarak.

After analysing i noticed the material is not consistant on which pagan religion that they are trying to connect to. Firstly mentions of prophet(pbuh) having link with sabeans and ahkans, there is no islamic history of such connections. As the islamic history tells he only went to iraq for trades not exchange of knowledge but only business. Then i noticed they tried attacking fasting as a pagan concept this is false because then this would mean judaism is pagan because of sabbath and christianity is to because some christians do follow scriptures and fast. They are shooting their foot with such claim. Then connection of the moon and allah with the pike. This is nonsense because allah and arabic writting is universal there nothing pagan there.
Then the concept of bowing down, jesus bowed down multiple of times and so did moses in the scriptures. These claims are fabrication and have no power what so ever because it would make all 3 abrahamic faiths look like pagan religion. The person who came up with that material needs to see a doctor.

Pagan is about believing in manifestation or resemblance of divinity on earth.

For skeptics of Islam, one can only claim Islam being a direct copycat of Israelite religion. Some even say Islam came from a much more ancient religion being religion of Noah. Nothing pagan.

Quote
http://www.judaism-islam.com/similarities-between-masjid-al-haram-and-the-jewish-temple/
http://binsalaam.tripod.com/similarities.htm

The only clear pagan influence here would be the author's Hellenistic Christian belief of God manifesting on earth in human form.
Where they believe that their manifested War God will not guide non belivers to make peace with believers but rather, as War God returned he will send them to hell on earth. And still not satisfied punishing them in hell, he will release their leader first so the evil leader can prepare his armies on earth to attack the War God. The War God will boast his triumph by instantly winning the battle by invoking fire from the sky to torment them with painful ending.

Assalamu Aleikum borther Adriliaz123, you are in the correct way, it's fully contradictory what that author is saying, because the Fasting is present in the Bible and in the inspired Scriptures for them; also the name Allah is in the Bible and in the mouth of Jesus (as), because Jesus talked aramaic and in aramaic God is Allah:

Dictionary: http://www.atour.com/cgi-bin/dictionary.cgi?string=God&Search_Field=Meaning

Also, the postration is very registred in all the Bible, Jesus postrated, Moses postrated, Joshua postrated; so, if they say that the postration is a bad thing so, their prophets and their scriptures become a party of pagans.

Thanks for all brothers, Jazak Allah Khairan.

Walakum salaam thanks brother sharif, these people are so blind that they are blasphming and turning away more and more from their own religion. If they don't heal the disease in there heart it will lead to them becoming fully pagan.

I believe those who knowing that moon god thing is a lie, but deliberatly use to attack islam are the enemy of islam. The judeo-neo-con-Christians. They have severe hatred of islam. May allah eiyher heal there disease and show them light of islam or move them aside.

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers,

Please visit the following link to see that it is the Bible that considers the moon holy, not the Glorious Quran.  I gave several quotes from the Bible that prove this:

Take care,
Osama Abdallah
