Takfeer & Politics

Salam Aly Kum Wa Rahmahtullah

I observed this over the years and i post a question to you brothers and sisters regarding the nature of Takfeer in recent history and its role as a political tool.

As an example lets consider this: The Ahmadiyya & some Shia groups

The Ahmadiyya are unanimously declared kuffar, yet the kufr they commit is more indirect than direct especially in case of the Lahore Ahmadiyya movement but some groups among the shia commit open kufr such as declaring mere humans to be God, yet Ahmadiyya are considered non muslims but shias are considered to be muslims by the majority of the world's muslim countries.

Why is it so?

Is it because declaring those shia kuffar will result in political strife within and between countries?

It is also interesting to note that the beliefs of those particular shia groups conflict with a majority of the shia and yet they are supported by most Shia governments. Is it simply the enemy of my enemy is my friend ideology?

Please share your thoughts on the matter...
