Our Lord! make us not a trial for those who practise oppression; And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people. (10:85-86)

Our Lord! forgive us for our sins and wasted efforts, make our foothold sure, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk. (3:147)

Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people. (2:286)

My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will). (46:15)

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Question re miracle of 19
« on: November 22, 2016, 11:58:57 AM »
As’alamo Alaikim Brother Osama,

I have read few articles about the miracle of 19 in your website and I have few questions:

What is the reason that he didn’t mention the entire verse as in this example?
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0269.jpg
But the actual verse is:
By the way, this is not the only example. There are other examples that he didn’t mention the whole verse.

Why did he only mention two words only from verse 36?
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0277.jpg
One would claim that he is only using whatever words that are suitable to satisfy and prove his theory!

Quote from your article: “Adding all of the numerical values of the Prophets' and Messengers' names that were mentioned in the Holy Quran also all add up to a number that is a multiple of the number 19 without any remainder:
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0236.jpg
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0237.jpg
1)   I noticed that he mentioned the name of Prophet Jesus twice, once as Issa and another as Al-maseeh Essa ibn Mariam; and the name of Prophet Mohammad twice, once as Mohammad and another as Ahmed; and the name of Prophet Ibrahim twice, once with I and another without I.
I am only thinking of why he added the names of these Prophets twice? The only meaning I would think of is that he only wants to prove his theory!!!

Please note that those are only my thoughts and I could be wrong. Thus can you please explain this to me.

As'salamo Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

When Jibril asked Prophet (ﷺ) to tell him about the sign of the hour, He said: "when you see the barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings - وَأَنْ تَرَى الْحُفَاةَ الْعُرَاةَ الْعَالَةَ رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ يَتَطَاوَلُونَ فِي الْبُنْيَانِ ‏ "

I am thinking that Muslims misunderstood this Hadeeth, because they only attributed it to the Arab in the Gulf i.e. the Arab of the desert were poor, working as shepherd, and then they became rich and constructed tall buildings. I think that this Hadeeth has different meaning!

1) The Hadeeth began with (when you see the barefoot and naked), Prophet (ﷺ) didn't say (those who were barefoot and naked i.e. in the past). Thus, this means that we MUST see them in our naked eyes. As we see today, mankind (men/women) from all walks of life wear bikini in Egypt, Dubai, Lebanon, Jordan, Europe, China, India, and so on. We also see them in public half naked. If the Prophet (ﷺ) meant with (naked, barefoot, shepherd) as "poor" i.e. couldn't afford the cost of dress, he could have simply said (al-masakeen or al-fokra'a / المساكين او الفقراء).

2) (رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ is translated to shepherds) and in another Hadeeth, it says, (رِعَاءَ الْبَهْمِ which is translated to herdsmen), but if we read this Hadeeth (كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ - All of you are shepherds (guardians) and each of you is responsible for his flock), then (رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ) could mean "guardians of the beast i.e. those who have no brain).

3) Then, he said (competing in constructing tall buildings), which we see today all over the earth.

Therefore, the meaning of the Hadeeth will be: "you will see the barefoot, the naked, the destitute, the guardians of the beast constructing tall buildings". I think Prophet   (ﷺ) described mankind in this Hadeeth as (beast - الْبَهْمِ). The scary question is, does this include "those who think that they are Muslims because WE ALL think that we are Muslims but Allah alone knows this)?

If my thoughts are correct, then Allah yostar! because the Prophet (ﷺ) also said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.

I decided to share with you my thoughts to solicit your feedback. Please feel free to brainstorm.

Jazakom Allah Khair,

As’salamo alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

First of all, the reason for calling to Islam should be based on a win-win solution. We want to win the blessings of Allah, and the person we are inviting into Islam should feel that he/she is welcomed to ask any questions they have in their minds regardless of anything.

Second, we must follow Quran and the way of Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ):

1.   Never insult or confront non-Muslims i.e. don't fire back into those who criticize Islam by criticizing their religion. They do this on purpose to stir Muslims and damage Islam.

(6:108) And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge…

2.   When non-Muslims insult Muslims, we should say word of peace only. We are not allowed to insult them.

(28:55) And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, “For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant.”

3.   We also should remember that Allah ordered us to avoid those who mock Quran.

(6:68) When you see people mocking Our revelations, turn away from them so that they may change the subject. If Satan causes you to forget this, do not sit with the unjust people when you remember.

4.   We must use Quran alone for reference.

(50:45)... So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning.

5.   Please follow the way of Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ). Always inform them good news and if you become angry, remember to remain silent.

•   Anas reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Make things easy and do not make them difficult, cheer the people up by conveying glad tidings to them and do not repulse (them). “يسروا ولا تعسروا وبشروا ولا تنفروا”

•   Ibn Abbas reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Teach and make things easy and not difficult. When one of you is angry, he should be silent.”
“عَلِّمُوا وَيَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا، وَإِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْكُتْ‏"

6.   If you choose to use other references i.e.;
•   Deuteronomy (18:18) I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

Then, please don’t let them feel that you are confronting them. Otherwise, they will immediately tell you either “Jesus” or “the Prophet didn’t come yet”. Instead, show them that you are enquiring about it. You can say: I am unable to understand of why God told Moses that He will put His words in the mouth of the new Prophet. God already gave His words to Moses “Law”. Why God didn’t tell Moses that “I will send another Prophet to teach the Law that I already gave it to you”? Well, does this mean that God forgot to tell Moses specific things, or made errors and He wants to correct them. Of course not, this is impossible. God doesn’t forget nor makes errors. Therefore, I am guessing that God knew that mankind will alter His Law and want to send another Prophet to correct it.

Well, they may say its “The Bible, New Testimony”. You can tell them, but according to the Bible, Jesus said that he came to fulfill the Law of Moses.
•   Matt (5:17) Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Then, you can say, does this mean that Jesus wants to fulfill a corrupted Law. It doesn’t make sense. So, it seems to me that the Bible is also altered; and so on.

I am sure that you will not be able to convince them except Allah wills. So, I prefer to use only Quran as a reference.

If anyone has a better suggestion, please feel free to share it with us. May Allah guide all of us to the straight path.

Jazakom Allah Khair

Salam brother Osama,

Isaiah (49:22-23) This is what    the Sovereign LORD says:     See, I will beckon          to the nations,     I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons

in their arms and carry your daughters on their hips. Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers.   They will    bow down   before you

with their faces      to the ground;    they will      lick      the dust   at your feet.    Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.

According to Islam, prostration is only allowed to Allah. Sobhan Allah; Allah “The Almighty” wants mankind ONLY to prostate to Him, while the Jewish wants mankind to prostrate to them    AND   lick the dust at their feet.

Brother Osama: I am thinking that this may have some connection to Quran “the Jewish says that Uzair is the son of Allah”.

Matt (5:17) Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Brother Osama: can you please ask our friends the Christians of the reasons that they don’t obey Jesus? According to Matt (5:17), Jesus wants from Christians to “bow down      before the Jewish         with their faces             to the ground;   AND   to lick         the dust        at their       feet.

Thank you and best wishes,

Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) said:

•   Powerful is not he who knocks the other down, indeed powerful is he who controls himself in a fit of anger
•   Fear Allah wherever you are, do good deeds after doing bad ones, the former will wipe out the latter, and behave decently towards people
•   The most perfect of believers in belief is the best of them in character
•   The believers with the most perfect faith are those with the most perfect conduct and manners. And the best ones amongst you are those who are best to their families
•   Among the things that people have found from the words of the previous prophets was: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish
•   Let whosoever believes in Allah and in the Last Day either speak good or be silent
•   On the Day of Resurrection, nothing will be heavier in the scale (of good deeds) of the believer than good conduct
•   None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself
•   Allah has no mercy on one who has no mercy for others
•   Allah is more loving and kinder than a mother to her dear child
•   Allah hates the one who swears and hurls obscenities
•   Allah does not judge according to your bodies and appearances but He scans your hearts and looks into your deeds
•   On every person’s joints or small bones (i.e. fingers and toes), there is charity every day the sun rises. Doing justice between two people is charity; assisting a man to mount his animal, or lifting up his belongings onto it is charity; a good word is charity; every step you take towards prayer is charity; and removing harmful things from pathways is charity
•   Let whosoever believes in Allah and in the Last Day honor his neighbor
•   Receiving your friend with a smile is a type of charity and putting some water in your neighbors bucket is a charity
•   He who eats his fill while his neighbor goes without food is not a believer
•   The best of you are those who are the best to their women
•   A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well he descended into it, drank his fill and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst. The man saw that the dog was feeling the same thirst as he had felt so he went down into the well again and filled his shoe with water and gave the dog a drink. Allah forgave his sins for this action. The Prophet was asked: Messenger of God, are we rewarded for kindness towards animals? He said, There is a reward for kindness to every living thing
•   Be in this world as though you were a stranger or a traveler/wayfarer
•   O people! Spread (the greeting of) Salam, feed others, uphold the ties of kinship, and pray during the night when people are sleeping, and you will enter Paradise with Salam
Allah the Almighty has said: O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and hope in Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds in the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with an earthful of sins and were you then to face Me, without having associated anything with Me, I shall grant you an earthful of pardon

Salam Brother Osama,

The following article is from http://thecanadiancharger.com/page.php?id=5&a=2026

The truth about the 9/11 tragedy

Scott Stockdale

With the passing of the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy, Toronto author and journalist Barry Zwicker thinks we are getting closer to the truth about a seminal event in our lives.
During a recent presentation in Toronto, Mr. Zwicker said that as more and more facts become available, the official version of 9/11 becomes more and more unbelievable.
He cited a video entitled 9/11 A Conspiracy Theory, by James Corbett, of The Corbett Report, as “the tightest and brightest summary of 9/11.”
In the video, Mr. Corbett questions how the alleged hijackers could have flown four commercial airliners wildly off course for over an hour without being molested by a single fighter interceptor - especially when the protocol requires fighter jets to respond after a plane has been flying off course for five minutes.
Mr. Corbett also said that according to the official version of 9/11, a plane hit the Pentagon in the budget analyst office where Department of Defence staff were working on the mystery of the $2.3 trillion that Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had announced was “missing” from the Pentagon’s coffers, in a press conference the day before, on September 10, 2001.
It is one thing to perpetrate such monstrous acts as occurred on 9/11 in the United States; but convincing the public about an official narrative, which defies and omits so many facts, would be even more difficult. In his video, Mr. Corbett alludes to this point:
“Luckily, the news anchors knew who did it within minutes, the pundits knew within hours, the Administration knew within the day and the evidence literally fell into the FBI’s lap.”
Illustrating with the example of the September 12, 2001 Canada's National Post story entitled “Towers Designed to Withstand Plane Impact” Mr. Zwicker said the strategy for the 9/11 tragedy was preplanned and preplanted (in the media).
He questions how, about 12 hours after the tragedy, the National Post already knew who did it and the newspaper was able to quote an “expert” - in the above-mentioned article - who said that as the steel heats up it loses its strength and if it burns enough it melts, causing a domino effect.
Meanwhile, no steel structure building in history, before or since 9/11, has ever completely collapsed due to fire. However, this fact was not published by the National Post or any other mainstream media outlet.
Mr. Zwicker said that psychologically it's very difficult to overcome an initial story such as the one in the National Post – various versions of which were promulgated by the mainstream media around the world.
Moreover, he said that for the past 15 years there has been total censorship of any investigative reporting on 9/11 (in the mainstream media); and instead, on the 15th anniversary we see a deluge of poignant stories.
“A Toronto artist's 9/11 drawings entitled “A Testament to Survival”; a Toronto man who saved a person in the tower. These are probably all true, but they're so far from questioning the official story. They're a total distraction,” Mr. Zwicker said.
Previously, Mr. Zwicker referred to a two-day conference (September 10-11, 2016) entitled Justice in Focus, at the Great Hall, Cooper Union, in New York City, as an example of an event presenting facts to counter the official version of 9/11, that was totally blacked out by the mainstream media.
Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Lawyers Committee for 9/11 Inquiry, NY State Legislative Action Project for 9/11 Justice, 9/11 Consensus Panel, 9/11 Truth Action Project were among those participating in event.
As part of the Justice in Focus event, we learned that after his Access to Information request to obtain the documents on the official investigation of 9/11 was ignored, attorney James Gory filed a law suit in Federal Court in New York and he received the documents.
Graeme MacQueen, professor emeritus in religious studies at Canada's McMaster University and the founder of the McMaster's Centre of Peace Studies in Canada and its War and Health programme, used these documents to do his own investigation.
Dr. MacQueen said he used these documents to prepare his own report, which includes testimony from 156 eyewitnesses to the 9/11 tragedy.
“My report includes testimony from 156 eyewitnesses; most used the word explosives. They themselves said “explosives” and they were U.S. government employees: employees with experience with explosives.”
Dr. MacQueen quotes two firefighters who were interviewed shortly after the destruction of the towers as saying “floor by floor starting popping, at regular intervals, moving down the building and tearing it apart. “
In one police officer's account in the official report, which he submitted to his superior officers, he described an explosion which “sucked the air out of your lungs.” Dr. MacQueen said this 14 year veteran of the police force had been trained in the U.S. Army on how to respond to explosives.
Among the other eyewitness reports, police officer Kruger, of the Port Authority, said in his testimony that while searching the floor, a big explosion knocked him off his feet.
Officer LeClair said in his testimony that an explosion blew him against a wall: “It was the distinctive sound of an explosion. The windows blew in, air went out. The rush of air sucked my lungs of air. It was negative blast pressure.”
Dr. MacQueen said 31 members of the Fire Department of New York used the term bomb. Moreover, they talked about explosions at regular intervals. He said these are not the natural explosions from a fire.
“None of the explosions that typically would be in a fire could have destroyed those buildings ... These explosives were synchronized and deliberate in nature,” Dr. MacQueen said.
Although all the U.S. Government agencies investigating 9/11 had access to the same information Dr. MacQueen used to make his report, Dr. MacQueen said the official 9/11 investigative report – all 935 pages – contains one sentence fragment about eyewitness accounts.
“FEMA and NIST did not mention eyewitnesses. They had access to the same information.”
