Did he right a tafsir, because that's where most people did it. Or he maybe out it in his prophetic biography (The prophettic biograohy of the son of Issac/Sirat ibn Ishaq)
Im assuming we're talking about the same guy, right.
if its thhis guy then i know why he's weak, however if its another, than can you give me a source on why he's weak

i believe its also in tabari, im not sure about ibn ishaq though, however in the source i gave (tafsir ibn Kathir) give the isnad as
and

i dont see where ibn ishaq is mentioned.

Here is the original hadith:
When Mu`âdh ibn Jabal returned from al-Shâm he prostrated to the Prophet  who said, "What is this, Mu`âdh?" He replied, when I came to Shâm I found them prostrating to their priests and bishops, so I told myself I would like to do the same to you." The Messenger of Allâh  said: "Do not! If I were to order anyone to prostrate to anyone else, I would order woman to prostrate to her husband due to the greatness of his right over her. I swear by Allâh that no woman shall taste the sweetness of faith until she fulfills the right of her husband even if he should want her while she is on top of the camel-saddle!"
Narrated from `Abd Allâh ibn Abî Awfâ by Ibn Mâjah and Ah.mad and from Mu`âdh ibn Jabal by al-Bazzâr and Ah.mad with chains of trustworthy narrators as per al-Haythamî (4:309) and by al-H.âkim (4:172=1990 ed. 4:190) who declared it s.ah.îh. as per the criteria of al-Bukhârî and Muslim, al-Dhahabî concurring. A second narration from Mu`âdh in Ah.mad states that this was upon his return from Yemen.

Other hadith that mention this (i.e. If i were to command anyone to prostate before anyone i would command the wife to prostate before the husband)  are only paraphrases of this hadith (i.e. one of the narrators did not feel it was relevant to give us the backround info)

Peace
If the hadith is in bukhari, could u pls give me the #, i couldn't find the hadith in bukhari, the previous one thaat i posted and this one are different because this one SPECIFICALLY tells us that the prophet was with maria on hafsa's bed on her day, it tells us in context, is there a problem with isnad? did he mention this is a weak of fabricated hadith. Although i do believe that the prophet was not sinning when he was with maria, because she was his wife or concubine (she was later freed because, according to bukhari and other scholars, the prophet had no slaves when he died, and maria died after the prohet), i was just saying that it was on hafsa's day on her bed. I got this from the Arabic version of Tafsir ibn kathir (so i couldn't get the number) Surah 66: 1 (He does tells us that the ayah could refer to another story, but he mentions that this story is in a major hadith collection).
PS, is there an ayah or hadith that the PROPHET HIMSELF treated his wives fairly (I already know the ayah that commands muslims 2).
thanks bro.

324
if u continue the hadith you will find that it is followed by " due to the greatness of his right/responsibility over her" meaning that it is not to be taken in a literal sense, but because the husband is has incredible financial responsibility over her (he has to pay ALL the necessities, even hers), so the wife must so respect. Hop it helped bro, i know that im not good in my wording.

This hadith says that muhammad lay with maria on hafsa's day on her (Hafsa's) bed, im a native arabic speaker. is this hadith true?
This is from sunan al nasai sometimes called sunan al sughra, one of the 6 hadith collections (Al-Kutub Al-Sittah‎)

I heard from the islamophobes and anti islamists that this proves that pre islamic arabia women had more rights, also they use this to prove the affair that the prophet commited adultery with mariyah. I know this is bull, so what does it really mean?
i have another question "what waws the secret that hafsa disclosed to aisha?
