In general, the Quran and Allah do not support turning women into tents.

Before presenting the Quranic rules for women's dress, it is essential to be reminded of the following:

1- The Quran is the only source of law that is authorised by God (6:114).
2- The Quran is complete and fully detailed (6:38, 6:114, 6:89 and 12:111).
3- God calls on His true believers to make sure not to fall in the trap of idol worship by following the words of the scholars instead of the words of God (9:31).
4- God calls those who prohibit what He did not prohibit, aggressors, liars and idol worshippers (5:87, 6:140, 7:32, 10:59).

I will very briefly simplify the argument against women covering their whole body or everything except their face. It is very important to state that true Islam is derived from the Quran and not from the culture of the original/current Muslim people.

The strongest argument against this whole scene of head-covers is the fact that there are no words in all the Quran where God commands the woman to cover all her body. We must accept that the Quran has all the details (6:114), and that God does not forget. If God wanted the woman to cover all her body from the neck to the feet God would have said that clearly. Those who make such un-Quranic claims cannot find words in the Quran with such extreme commands, so they manipulate Quranic words, mainly in 24:31 and 33:59, to comply with their false claims.

"Hijab"
It is important to state the word Hijab in the Quran does not refer to the same thing that modern muslims call Hijab. The word 'hijab' appears seven times in the Quran (7:46, 33:53, 38:32, 41:5, 42:51, 17:45 & 19:17). None of these 'hijab' words are used in the Quran in reference to what the traditional Muslims call today 'hijab', that being the head cover for Muslim woman!

Historical background of hijab: The 'hijab' is an old Jewish tradition that infiltrated into the hadith books like many innovations that contaminated Islam through the hadith. Any student of Jewish traditions would know that the head cover for the Jewish woman is encouraged by the Rabbis and religious leaders. One prominent one is the myth of the antichrist or the "dajjal" nonsense.

"Khimar"
The Arabic word khimar means cover. Any cover can be called a khimar, such as a curtain, a dress. A table cloth that covers the top of a table is a khimar. A blanket can be called a khimar and so on. The word khamr, which is used in the Quran for intoxicants, has the same root as khimar. Both words mean that which covers. The khimar covers a window, a body, a table and so on, while khamr is that which covers the mind. Traditional translators, obviously influenced by Hadith and culture, claim that khimar in 24:31 has only one meaning, and that is veil or hijab. Thus, they mislead women into believing that 24:31 commands them to cover their hair! The correct meaning of the word khimar can easily be verified by consulting any Arabic dictionary.
In 24:31 God is telling women to use their khimar (cover/garment), which could be a dress, a coat, a shawl, a shirt, a blouse, a scarf and so on, to cover their cleavage/bosoms.

The Quranic proofs:

[Quran 24:31] "And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and to guard their private parts, and not to reveal any of their ‘zinatahhunna’ (beauty spots) except what normally shows, and to draw their ‘khumurihhinna’(their khimars) over their ‘juyoob’ (cleavage/bossom)"

There are 2 parts of the above verse that make it clear.

For a start, we note that the words ‘head’ and ‘hair’ are not found in 24:31.
In addition, we must differentiate between two components in the wording of 24:31.
God says to women to draw their khimar (garment) over their cleavage/bossom. Here we have:

1- The subject of the command, which is the cleavage/bossom
2- The tool, which is the khimar.

The command is only obligatory in relation to the subject and not the tool.
If the obligation was for the tool as well God would have said:
“cover your hair and cleavage with your khimar”
God is not short of words, nor is God vague in the commands He decrees for us.
God will hold us accountable on the Day of Judgement to the commands He gave us, so it is not rational to imply for one moment that God would give us vague commands which lack precision and certainty.

In the above verse, notice the first underline: It is saying that you should cover your adornments except what normally shows/normally apparent!

The immediate question is: what are the parts of the body which people (in general) and women (in particular) normally cover, and thus would be described as "normally apparent"? When we have defined what is normally covered, it follows that the remaining parts of the body are what is referred to as "normally apparent", or normally uncovered. In general, people cover the following:

1- People cover their private parts in order to maintain righteousness (7:26). For women this would include all parts of the body which have sexual connotation such as the private parts, the backside, the chest, thighs and so on. It is for this purpose that God commands women in 33:59 to lengthen their garments so as not to be too revealing.

2- People also cover their bodies in order to keep warm. In warm climates people would only cover what is included under item 1 above, which would be the minimum clothing required but also with maintaining righteousness, while as in colder climates people would cover more of their bodies depending on the severity of the weather.

The above two points define what parts of the body would normally be covered under the words “normally apparent”.
To imply that the words “normally apparent” mean all the body, as some Imams preach, is yet another manipulation of God’s words.
If God wanted the woman to cover all her body God would not have bothered with words such as the “cleavage” "bosoms" (in my first underline) nor with “what is normally apparent”! God would have simply said “cover all your body”. But for God to single out specific parts of the body for covering is the proof that God never required women to cover all their bodies.

The fact that God says in 24:31 to specifically cover the breast indicates clearly that there are other parts of the woman’s body that do not have to be covered.

If God wanted the whole body of the woman to be covered, God would not have bothered saying "cover your chest" since an overall command to cover all the body would be a more appropriate command, and it would also be the only command that is needed. But since God specifies certain parts of the woman’s body to be covered, then this is clear proof that here are other parts of the woman's body that do not have to be covered, as long as the are not beauty spots of sexual connotation (zinah), and as long as righteousness in dress is maintained (7:26).

"O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters and the wives of the believers that they shall lengthen their garments. This is better so that they will be recognized and not molested. God is Forgiver, Merciful." 33:59

The command to "lengthen the garment" also proves that the woman is not commanded to be all covered from head to feet. For if that is the case, and the woman is covered down to the ground, there would be no meaning to “lengthen the garment”. How can the woman lengthen a garment that is already down to the ground?

I hope this will help you expose the extreme hypocrites who are distorting the beautiful religion of Islam.

Summary of the above arguments:

    Think of your house and in it you have a garden. You have gardener who comes to look after your garden. One day you tell the gardener: please water the area under the big tree and also water the back of the garden.


    What does this example tell us?
    It tell us that since you specified only areas to be watered, then this is a clear indication that there will be other areas in the garden that are not to be watered. If you wanted the gardener to water the whole garden you would have asked: please water the whole garden.

    When we apply this example to the issue of women’s dress code in the Quran, the same principle applies. If God wanted the whole body of the woman to be covered, God would not have bothered saying "cover your chest" since an overall command to cover all the body would be all that is needed to say. But since God specifies certain parts of the woman’s body to be covered, then there are other parts that do not have to be covered, as long as they are not beauty spots of sexual connotation and as long as righteousness in dress is maintained.

My Question is what are the differences in the science of hadith collection between the sunni hadiths and the shia hadiths. What makes the shia think their hadiths are better and what makes the sunni think their is better?

Instead they play the "my scholars are better than yours" game. That's what you get for following fabrications and saying they are inspired by God even though the Quran states it alone is the only source of law and has details of everything.

You don't have to take my word for it, just read up on the Quran and how Allah views sin and Aggregation. At that moment you commit sin, you become a disbeliever unless you repent or not do the sin again. Islam is called "submission". You do not submit to Allah by committing sins. If you commit sins without repentance you are not a submitter therefore you are not of the religion of submission (Islam).

The Quran is all there is to follow. To disregard those clear verses would be some kind of serious dishonesty. I don't know how anyone can stay a Sunni, Shia Muslim after reading the Quran, fortunately, Allah explains this:

[43:36] Anyone who disregards the message of the Most Gracious, we appoint a devil to be his constant companion.
[43:37] Such companions will divert them from the path, yet make them believe that they are guided.

We are only required to pray 3 times daily, anyone who says we are required for more is either ignorant or systematically rejecting Allah's verses.

I do pray my mandatory 3 prayer and I do pray the extra 2 prayers that the other Muslims do. I actually pray more than 5 times daily.

With every prayer, I pray an additional 2-4 quick prayers--especially at night.

There is no limit to how much you can pray to Allah--just recognize the extra prayers as non-mandatory. Just do your mandatory 3 and you are good.

I underlined the word "Muslims" in your statement because I have a hard time saying that someone is a 'submitter' if they systematically reject Allah's verses and follow the methodology given by the fabrication of hadiths. Any person who calls themselves a Muslim who is conscious of their arrogant rejection of the Quranic verses should rethink their position to Allah's eyes. I don't use rudeness as some kind of argument.  Never have.

You again use the appeal to popularity fallacy even though I have told you you cannot argue like that. Moreover, the Quran predicts that people will abandon the Quran in the future.  Like I said, I don't know what kind of dishonesty this is.

It is so simple to prove your case, I asked for ONE verse that authorizes another source of law for us besides the Quran. No such verse was given. I asked you to reconcile the verse that the Quran is fully detailed and that we cannot follow anything unless it is in THIS book (quran) with your ideology.

In the end, this cheap method of trying to end the debate with pride does not give you any gain-none whatsoever. It is just your method of quitting without looking bad. We all know you quit because you failed to own up to your burden of proof when it comes to your ideology.  This is because no such proof exists in the Quran that supports your kufr. Yet, I have presented so many verses that satisfy my burden of proof in true-Islam--and you have offered absolutely no defense against these verses. I will conclude with the verse that defeats your kufr completely:

Quran 45:6 These are God's revelations (Quran) that We recite to you truthfully. In which statement other than God and His revelations (Quran) do they believe?"

These are God's verses that get recited to you. In what statement other than these verses will you believe.

If I write a book and say "These are the sentences that I write to you, in what statement besides my sentences will you believe in?". Does this leave room for any other sentences outside of my book to believe in? Absolutely not! I said it clearly, THESE are my sentences that you Must believe in and you cannot believe in anything besides them!

 God says that these are his verses that he recites to you and that you cannot believe in anything besides them, BUT, you insist that we are to believe in the Sunnah (extra-Quranic revelation). How could any rational, intellectually honest person accept this. Was the Sunnah in these verses (Quran)? NO. You cannot believe in it, plain and simple.

So you could quit and leave with pride all you want. You need to know that you are a disbeliever and you will remain such until you open your heart to Allah.

Well you can't seem to defend your position, so how is it justified? You just feel like your position is more intuitive even though the Quran has made it clear there is no other source of law besides it. In fact, you haven't once responded to my biggest argument:

^You should know that you cannot reconcile these verses therefore you should abandon your kufr.

As far as Quran 2:144, I have already broken the verse down and shown you that the prophet could have not received another qibla before--and you offered absolutely no response, you just restated your interpretation of the verse without defending it. I gave many reasons that show my case and you have not made a valid response.

Here are the reasons why to reject another source of law besides the Quran:

1.) The Quran is clear it is the only source of law, has details of everything
2.) The Quran has not mentioned another source of law
3.) We cannot believe in anything Islam related unless it is in the Quran (THIS book)
4.) There is no command in the Quran to follow anything besides it

Just like you. Of all the Quranic verses that show the Quran is the only source of law, had details of everthing and that we aren't to follow anything unless it is in this BOOK.

Not only that on Quran 2:144, you completely destroyed its true meaning and you made an unjustified misinterpretation! It was freighting to see how much you can twist the Quran. The evidence on that verse is clear.

No I did. read Quran 45:6-7. IT exposes you and gives me the duty to warn you of a painful punishment for believing in anything unless it is in THIS book.


And as I had said before. I gave a challenge. The challenge was to show me ONE verse in the Quran that authorizes another source of law besides it. None were given, you gave one at around 2:144 and even your interpretation (which I've proved to be wrong) does not authorize another source of law for us besides the Quran as it is not relevant to us.

1- Was Muhammad given inspiration regarding a previous Qibla? According to you it is possible, to me the verse says it is not, but for the sake of arguments, I will temporarily agree with your interpretation.
2- Is this Qibla applicable to us today? No, our Qibla is given in 2:144
3- Do we need information about this previous Qibla in order to practice our religion? No
4- Does 2:143 justify the call to follow hadith? Never! Not in a million years!
We do not need these details to practice Islam, the Quran is clear that it is all we need to practice Islam. The fact still remains; the Quran is all we need for salvation. If you reject this fact then you are suggesting a contradiction between the Quran and your ideology.

As for the personal hadith of Muhammad, once again we are commanded very clearly not to follow it for the following reasons:

1- God commands us not to believe/follow any hadith other than the Quran (45:6)
2- God tells us that the Quran has all the details we need (6:114) and that nothing has been left out of the book (6:38). As a result, all what may have been inspired to Muhammad and which is not in the Quran is not part of our Islam today nor is required of us.
3- God commands us to use the Quran as the only source of law (6:114)
3- God tells us that the hadith is the fabrication of the devil (6:112)
4- God tells us that we are not accountable to what was given to those before us, which refutes the claim associated with the previous Qibla (on 2:144).

It is time for you to accept Allah and the Quran.

Meaning they were ordered to . No other possibility . The next sign says so too .


The Qiblah they used to face was not assigned from Allah. It was the direction the prophet chose to pray in a congregation. As the context of these verses show, the prophet was not given a direct Qiblah from Allah, rather, he just followed one until this verse came about.

Allah is the one who ordered them to pray toward it . And then

With the words: “We did not appoint the Qiblah which you were on except to …..” we are told of a previous Qibla which God appointed, however we are not told if this Qibla was appointed specifically to Muhammad, or if it was appointed before the time of Muhammad and when Muhammad came it was the Qibla being followed. The words in 2:143 do not say “We did not appoint FOR YOU the Qiblah which you were on except to …..” As a result, the test of who follows the messenger, could be speaking about a previous people and their messenger.

When we read the words of the following verse the matter becomes clearer:

[2:144] We have seen you turning your face about the sky, thus, We now assign you to a Qiblah that is pleasing to you. Henceforth, you shall turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram.

This verse makes it clear that the prophet was indecisive as to which Qiblah to follow and he was not pleased with the direction/Qiblah that he made people pray.

So:
1.) If the prophet received inspiration from Allah as to a direct Qiblah, would he not be pleased with it?
2.) If the prophet received inspiration from Allah to a direct Qiblah, would he be turning his face to the sky looking for a Qiblah to follow?

I want to let you know, that I am interested in your translation. Personally, I never interpreted the verse the way you translate it. I think though the Quran is clear that the prophet did not get a direct Qiblah from Allah and he was told to just pray. The rest was up to him (the direction of prayer, the length etc.).

So are you suggesting a contradiction between the Quran saying it is fully detailed and then you saying it is not? Was Allah lying when he said the Quran is fully detailed and has everything you need to know? I'm interested as to how you reconcile these clear verses that the Quran has all the information for Islam with your view that the Quran doesn't. How is it possible to reconcile these two. Show me.

I'm telling you there is no other source of revelation TO MANKIND along with the Quran.

Even though this has nothing to do with the verses we are discussing, if you have noticed, I have always said "To Mankind" when I say there is no other source of revelation. I do not deny that the prophet relieved personal inspiration from Allah. Like the prophet may have asked Allah which direction to pray in congregation, and Allah may have just said--"whichever you chose, it doesn't matter--just make sure you all pray in a congregation on Friday prayer facing a certain Qiblah". Etc. Etc.

For the issue of the prophet receiving inspiration from God outside the Quran, I do not doubt that nor have I ever denied it! How can we deny it when it is confirmed in the Quran?

God indeed inspires to His messengers information that is outside the scripture. One example we have is when God inspired some information to Muhammad about some of his wives (66:3). The details of this information are not given in the Quran.
God inspires His messengers all the time, but that is not all, God inspires ordinary people and not just messengers.
We have the example in 28:7 of how God inspired the mother of Moses to throw her baby son in the river and not worry.
So there is no problem whatsoever in accepting inspiration given to Muhammad which is not in the Quran. But we must be focused on the fact that none of this information relates to our practice of Islam today nor is required by us.

So when I ask for another source of law TO mankind besides the Quran, I am not speaking about Muhammad's personal revelations! I am speaking about the ones meant for Mankind--The Quran and the Quran ONLY.

You know that is not what I did. I said it must have not been given to the prophet directly because if it was, the next series of verses don't make sense. So from the context, we conclude that it was for the previous messengers.

The order from Allah would be simply to pray. The rest is up to you. Allah just wants you to pray. He never assigned a Qibla as made evidence. Like I said, all you have to do is debunk my arguments supporting the fact that Allah never assigned a specific Qiblah to Muhammad, until this verse.

Here it says that this qibla is appointed to the prophet himself along with the rest of Muslism . It says "Kunta"="كنتَ" . That's a singular male object directed at the one whom Quran is revealed to which is with no doubt prophet Muhammad peace upon him .

1.) Indecisive as to which Qibla to follow and searching for a Qiblah (would he be indecisive if Allah gave him a direct Qiblah to follow)
2.) Displeased with the current state of not having a specific Qiblah (would he be displeased if Allah gave him a direct Qiblah to follow).

I think you missed the entire point. The entire point was that the people of the scripture had multiple Qiblas and that is why the prophet didn't know exactly which Qibla to follow. I do agree that the verse 2:145 was speaking about the denial of the jews/Christians to follow the new Qibla after the prophet was assigned a Qibla, but that had nothing to do with my argument. It looks like you misread it. All I was saying is that the people of the scripture had multiple Qiblah's as shown by "They do not even follow each others' Qiblah".

To further prove my point, there is a Quranic reference to another Qibla that the people of the scripture were given! Quran 10:87!!!

So where in Quran , and Quran ALONE , does it tell Muslims to pray toward the Aqsa Masjid ? Don't tire yourself , you won't find any . Going from this point , why did Muslims pray toward Alaqsa while Quran didn't tell them to ? Why did the prophet pray toward Alaqsa ? Will you go so low as to claim this sign is fabricated ? Or maybe you'll claim that the prophet did something in religion that Allah didn't tell him to do ? When we read 2:143-144 we indeed learn of a change of Qibla by God. However, the exact details of this change and the exact location of the previous Qibla does not affect us in any way when we come to observe the Salat. To observe the Salat, we need to know the Qibla which God assigned to us and not to previous people. The Qibla which applies to us is given in 2:144, it is the Masjid Al-Haram. It is important here to remind ourselves of the correct meaning of the Quran being “fully detailed”.
Fully details does not mean all historic events are fully detailed, but only what related to the message of the Quran and the law of God. When a professor says the textbook has everything you need to know--you know that he is referring to everything you need to know for the class, not everything you need to do for life.

It is also necessary to analyse the verses of the change of Qibla more closely:

[2:143] We thus made you a worthy nation so that you would be witnesses over the people, and the messenger would be a witness over you, and We did not appoint the Qiblah which you were on except to know who follows the messenger and who would turn back on their heels. It was indeed a great issue, but not for those who are guided by God, and God would never allow your faith to be wasted. God is Benevolent and Merciful towards the people.

With the words: “We did not appoint the Qiblah which you were on except to …..” we are told of a previous Qibla which God appointed, however we are not told if this Qibla was appointed specifically to Muhammad, or if it was appointed before the time of Muhammad and when Muhammad came it was the Qibla being followed. The words in 2:143 do not say “We did not appoint FOR YOU the Qiblah which you were on except to …..” As a result, the test of who follows the messenger, could be speaking about a previous people and their messenger.

When we read the words of the following verse the matter becomes clearer:

[2:144] We have seen you turning your face about the sky, thus, We now assign you to a Qiblah that is pleasing to you. Henceforth, you shall turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram.

As a result, the above claim that we could not follow Islam by following the Quran alone is a false claim.

What was revealed to the messenger. What did the Quran tell us was revealed to the messenger? Did the Quran say there is another source of law besides the Quran that was revealed to the messenger? We both know the answer to that is NO.

So to obey the messenger is to obey the Quran. To obey the Quran is to obey Allah. Therefore to obey the messenger is to obey Allah.

Here are the logical premises:

1.) To obey the messenger means to obey the message that was revealed to him
2.) The only message that was revealed to the messenger is the Quran
3.) Therefore, to obey the messenger means to obey the Quran.

You agree with premise 1 but you disagree with premise 2. Once you agree with premise 2, the conclusion follows whether you like it or not! This is a deductive argument, if the premises are true, the conclusion necessarily follows with absolutely no doubt whatsoever. 

Now, I have ruthlessly defended premise 2. I've given you the challenge earlier in this post to show me ONE verse that makes another source of law or revelation to mankind besides the Quran! Once you do that my logical argument fails on itself and I will become a Sunni Muslim. If not, I will remain a Quranist.

I know there is no such verse in the QUran that authorizes another source of law besides the Quran. So you have to accept premise 2 thereby accepting the argument.

What does the word "THESE" refer to?  If I write a book and within the book I say "THESE are the sentences that we write to you. What statement will you follow besides me and my sentences". What does not refer to? It refers to the sentences of the Book. So when ALlah says THESE are my revelations that I recite to you, it means the Quran is Allah revelations that are recited to you--in what statement besdies Allah's revelations (Quran) will you beleive.

THis verse makes it absolutely clear there is no room for Sunnah. Show me how this verse does not and you have an argument. You cannot prove your statement that the Sunnah is a revelation from Allah by just restating it. You must show that Quran 45:6 doesn't make it clear that the Quran is the ONLY source! We both know it does make it clear and that is why you do not produce a counter-argument.

Now I have enough evidence that you truly don't understand the Quran. The good news is, this misunderstanding can be fixed only if you are willing to accept it.

The context of Quran 25:30 is speaking about the day of resurrection and what happens after this life. The prophet will say, Oh Allah, my people have abandoned the Quran. Of course it is in the past tense, this verse is talking about the prophet telling this to Allah in the future (day of resurrection). Let me give an example:

"Five years from now, I say: My people have abandoned the Quran". Now why was the second part of the sentence past tense??? Because it was me speaking in the future about the past! if you notice, the verses before Quran 25:30 were ALSO in past tense and they were about the disbelievers stating: "Oh I wished I had listened to the prophet's warning". Why is that in past tense?

Secondly, if people forsake or abandon the Quran, that means that the had to have already been following the Quran. So they followed it, then abandoned it.

So from this we conclude that Quran 25:30 is speaking about how people will abandon the Quran after following it. This cannot be about the meccans because the meccans never followed the Quran in the first place. How could they abandon/forsake something they never followed?

This verse is not only limited to the Quraish, it is about EVERYONE who abandoned the Quran. It predicts that in the future people will abandon the Quran.

1 - Quran orders us to obey the messenger and what he teaches as they are revelations from Allah himself in numerous places throughout the noble book . Finally, now we get into the meat of the matter.

The Quran DOES order us to obey the messenger--I have never denied that.  The Quran did not authorize another source of law besides it. Are you suggesting that Allah is contradicting himself when he says that the Quran is the only source of law/fully detailed and then says that the messenger has more details than the Quran? Is that really what you are suggesting?

The short rebuttal; To obey the messenger means to obey the message. The message is the Quran. If we obey the messenger, we obey the Quran thus we obey Allah.

The long rebuttal: There is no indication that you are to follow the Sunnah, because the prophet's sole duty is to give the message and the Quran has informed us that the message is in THIS BOOK (Quran) and that this message is complete. DONE! NO room for sunnah.

The word Messenger is derived from the word Message. A Messenger delivers a Message. If there was no message there would be no messenger. To Obey the Messenger would thus mean to obey the message he is delivering.

Prophet Muhammad is a chosen man who was of fine character and he was given the duty of delivering the Quran, he did that successfully.

So lets study some verses about the sole duty of prophet Muhammad according to the quran.

Sura 5:99
The SOLE DUTY of the messenger is to deliver the message and God knows everything you declare and everything you conceal

Sura 72:23
I only deliver God's words and messages.

Sura 5:67
O you messenger, deliver what is revealed to you from your Lord - until you do, you have not delivered His message.

Sura 5:92
And obey God and obey the messenger and be cautious; but if you turn back, then know that the SOLE DUTY of the messenger is the deliverance (of the message).

Sura 64:12
And obey God and obey the messenger, but if you turn back, then upon Our messenger is the SOLE DUTY of the clear delivery (of the message).




Let's Summarize this one more time and I will bold it and increase the size so that it is emphasized

YOU CANNOT FOLLOW THE MESSAGE, UNLESS YOU FOLLOW THE MESSENGER. IF YOU FOLLOW THE MESSAGE, YOU FOLLOW THE MESSENGER

The whole point of these verses, is Allah reminding you that if you don't follow the messager, you are not following the message. The messenger gives the message and you follow the messenger.

The messenger did NOT add anything to Allah's message as is made clear by Allah's message.

So your argument is that the prophet had to explain the Quran to everyone, even us. Well this argument falls flat on its face! Let me further show you how bad your argument is:

While it is correct to state that the messengers duty was not restricted to merely reciting the Qur’an to his people, as is evident by the words: "...He will give them the knowledge of the Book ..." (2:129), it is also an incontestable fact that the books of traditions that are upheld by varous sects and attributed to the messenger, do not contain the explanation of each and every verse of the Qur’an. What exists in those compilations are some ascribed paradoxical reports limited to certain verses only. No book of tradition contains the complete commentary and explanation of the Qur’an from Surah Al-Fatiha, the first chapter to Surah An-Naas, the last chapter, that it could attribute to the messenger of Allah.

This being the case, the question arises that how did the messenger confer the knowledge of the Book of Allah to his audience? And where can we find those explanations? The Qur’an provides us the adequate answer to these questions of extreme importance.

Allah informs us that His Book has been kept independent of all sorts of traditions for its exegesis, by indicating that the Qur’an is its own commentary.

The Qur'an is not like an ordinary book, such that most other books discuss a specific topic at one place and have their subjects compiled and bifurcated within specific chapters.

Unlike this, the Book of Allah has its topics spread out throughout itself within various chapters. For example, if we were to ascertain as to what Allah's Book says about the topic of divorce we find verses dealing with the subject of divorce in Surah Al-Baqara which is the second Surah (chapter) of the Qur'an, Surah Al Nisa the fourth Chapter , then in Surah Al Ahzaab the thirty third chapter and further in Sura At Tal'aaq which is the sixty fifth chapter of the Qur'an.

By compiling all the verses about the topic of divorce as discussed in all the locations of the Qur'an we come to know what the Book of Allah has to say about this subject. And we observe that each verse clarifies and explains the other. It is by this manner that Allah Himself has dealt with different subjects in His Book, i.e. by repeating topics in various chapters throughout the Qur'an. The manner of exegesis is <Tasreef ul Ayaat> or recurrence and repetition of subjects within the Qur’anic verses, and it is by this method that the Book of Allah deals with various topics and provides its own explanation. We are reminded:

<unzur kaifa nusarriful a_ya_ti la'allahum yafqahu_n>

"See how We repeat the verses that they may understand." (6:65)

<Wa laqad sarrafna_ lin na_si fi ha_zal qur'a_ni min kulli masal(in), fa aba_ aksarun na_si illa_ kufu_ra>


"And certainly We have repeated for mankind in this Quran, every kind of similitude, but the majority of mankind do not consent to aught but denying." (17:89)

Allah Himself has circulated topics within His Book, and what is unclear at one passage is made distinct by another verse in another passage within the Qur’an itself. One verse will throw light on the other. Furthermore we are informed that the messenger of Allah also explained the Qur’an by the Qur’an itself:

<Wa kaza_lika nusarriful a_ya_ti wa liyaqu_lu_ darasta wa linubayyinahu_ liqaumiy ya'lamu_n>

"And thus do We repeat the verses and that they may say: You have read; and that We may make it clear to a people who know." (6:108)

It is evident from the above that the messenger’s lectures on the Qur’an were based on <tasreef_ul_ayat>, i.e. recurrence of Ayat, to clarify topics within the Qur’an. The messenger gave Dars ul Qur-an, by this manner, and the Qur’an was clarified by the Qur’an itself. This is further supported in Surah Al-Furqan, where a certain objection of the unbelievers is identified:

<Wa qa_lal lazina kafaru_ lau la_ nuz zila alaihil qur a_nu jumlataw wa_hidah kaza_lika linusab bita bihi fu a_daka wa rat talna_hu tartila_Wa la_ yatu_naka bimasalin il la_ jina_ka bil haq qi wa ahsana tafsira>

"The unbelievers say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once? Thus (is it revealed gradually) that We may strengthen thy heart thereby and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow well-arranged stages gradually. And no example do they bring to thee but We bring to thee the truth and the best explanation." (25:32-33)

The above verses inform us about a matter of grave importance. To the objection of unbelievers as to why is not the Qur’an revealed all at once, it is stated that the Qur’an is revealed in stages due to the following reasons:

1.) So that the messengers heart may be strenghtened. This is confirmed when it is stated: "Thus (is it revealed gradually) that We may strengthen thy heart thereby and We have rehearsed it to thee in slow well-arranged stages gradually." Hence the messenger was encouraged and enjoined to be stead fast by the revelation of Qur’anic verses.
2.) So that the arguments that the unbelievers may bring forth should be answered sufficiently by ‘Haqq’, i.e. the Qur’anic truth. As it is stated: "And no example do they bring to thee but We bring to thee the truth.."
3.) The third reason for the gradual descent of the Qur’an is to provide <Ahsan_ul_Tafsir>, i.e. the best explanation and exegesis of Allah’s Book.

<Wa la_ yatu_naka bimasalin il la_ jina_ka bil haq qi wa ahsana tafsira>

"And no example do they bring to thee but We bring to thee the truth and the best ‘Tafsir’ (exegesis)" (25:33)

Thus Allah revealed verses which provided Tafsir of other verses themselves. What remained ambigous in one verse, its clarification and exegesis was provided by Allah Himself by the gradual descent of other verses of the Qur’an. Hence Allah provided the Tafsir of the Qur’an by the Qur’an itself, and did not make His Book dependent on any compilations of traditions for its exegesis. It is by this manner that Allah gave the Tafsir of His Book to the messenger and the messenger inturn conveyed to his audience. The messenger did not give any separate book of Tafsir to the Ummah as the Tafsir of the Qur’an which he imparted on the Ummah was contained inside the pages of the Qur’an itself.

While it is identified that the Qur’an explains its self by repetition of verses, we are also instructed to ponder and reflect on Allah’s Book, for the message of the Qur’an will be evident to those who will strive to comprehend its meaning and conduct research on it. It is mentioned that those who will use their faculties of understanding and engage in an inquiry into the meaning of the divine message, for them the Qur’anic verses will be rendered plain:


"Thus do We make the verses distinct for a people who reflect." (10:24)


"Indeed We have made the verses distinct for a people who will utilize their understanding." (6:98)

Along with stating the above, we are also advocated to ponder and reflect on the Book:

"A Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful." (38:29)

Thus the injunction to reflect and ponder over the Book has been given for all generations, so that in the light of divine guidance they seek the solutions to the problems of their times. The meaning of the Qur’an will be made clear by the repetition of verses and likewise people are asked to use their abilities of reason and intellect to understand the Qur’an. The following verses shed further light in stating that the meaning of Allah’s Book will be evident by <Tasreef ul Ayat> and it is in this manner that Qur’an should be understood:

" See how We repeat the verses that they may understand." (6:65)

"See how We repeat the verses, yet they turn away (from the truth rendered by recurrence of Ayat)." (6:46)

Note: the word for 'repeat'  is also correctly translated as 'explain'. So if Allah explains the verses in the Quran through the Quran, is there really a need to follow the prophet's explanation of the Quran? All we need to do is read the Quran to understand it! We don't need another revelation to understand it.

It is Allah, who is the ‘Mufasir’ i.e commentator of the Qur’an, and the Tafsir of one verse was provided by the revelation of other verses which would throw light on the subject under discussion. Thus it is said:

"Ar-Rahmaan (The Beneficent God). It is He who teaches the Qur’an." (55:1-2)

Not only was the revelation, compilation and protection of the Book taken up by Allah himself, but also its explanation. As we are informed:

"Do not move your tongue with this (Qur'an) to make haste with it. Surely on Us (devolves) the collecting of it and the reciting of it. Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation. Again on Us (devolves) the explaining of it." (75:16-19)

Here Allah relieves the prophet from explaining the Quran and says the duty is on Allah.

Hence it is Allah who provides the Tafsir of His Book by <Tasreef ul Ayat>, that is, by repetition of verses.

I hope I made it clear to you.

In hopes of making it even more clear, I have one more verse you need to read:

"We know best what they say, and you are not one to compel them; therefore remind him by means of the Quran who fears My Promise." (50:45)

Thus Allah commands the messenger to admonish people by the Qur’an, and the messenger confirms himself that his mission is "Admonishing with the Qur’an", not any other book!

Aha! The whay is defined as the Quran! Not the sunnah! What is the wahy? the Quran. Why would Allah neglect to mention the sunnah if we were to follow it?  In fact, WHERE in the Quran did Allah mention this alleged other source of revelation/law besides the Quran?

Plus did you forget about the other verses that state that the Quran is fully detailed, and that we are only to follow THESE verses??

So back to my argument:

Is wahy defined anywhere in the Quran as the sunnah or just as the Quran? Wahy is defined as the Quran.  Especially when the Quran is the only source of law as defined in 6:114 and 45:6?

The wahy that the prophet received is the Quran. did the Quran say there is another wahy?? We both know it didn't. Wahy is therefore defined as the Quran.

The messenger of Allah is ordered to deliver what has been revealed on him. . Now what are those divine teachings and laws that are revealed on the messenger? The following verses clarify as to what consists of "what has been revealed to you".

"And We have revealed the Book to you which has the clear explanation of everything, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit." (16:89)

Thus it is the Book of Allah which contains the clarity for all matters requiring guidance, that has been revealed on the messenger. In Surah An-Nisa, the divine teaching received by the messenger is again identified as:

"Surely We have revealed the Book to you with the truth that you may judge between people by means of that which Allah has shown you; and be not an advocate on behalf of the treacherous." (4:105)

Once again it is the book of Allah which has been identified as the divine teaching which has been bestowed upon the messenger and through which the messenger himself is to judge people.

"And We have revealed to you the Book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and a guardian over it, therefore judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their low desires (to turn away) from the truth that has come to you;" (5:48)

It is confirmed that the messenger received the Book of Allah and he is to govern among people by Allah’s Book and he cannot deviate the slightest bit from the Qur’an. Now it has been confirmed by the above and many other verses in the Qur’an that the messenger has received the Book of Allah as divine teaching. Now what is that teaching that the messenger is to pass on to people, through which they are admonished by him? What is this book?

So what is this book? In 6:19, we learn it is the Quran.

"Allah is witness between you and me; and this Quran has been revealed to me that with it I may warn you and whomsoever it reaches." (6:19)

The book, the revelation that the prophet Muhammad received is the QURAN.

In all these instances, Allah did not mention another revelation besides the Quran (the book). So HOW can you possibly assert that there is another revelation the prophet received besides the Quran!!! The only wahy is therefore the Quran, the book.

Looking at the first or the second sign , you can't claim that it denies there is a revelation with Quran that explains it for people .


There is NO revelation with the Quran that explains it for people. What there is is the prophet making evident/clear the the people that the Quran was sent down to them and he would preach the Quran through ONLY the Quran. He would not add anything to the book that is fully detailed and the ONLY source of law.

The prophet explained to the people what the Quran wants them to do. Let me give you an example.

A man goes to the prophet and asks him how to do wudu for Salat, so the prophet would show him that by reading 5:6 to him, so the prophet SHOWED him what the Quran says, this is the meaning of 16:44 .... The prophet did not guide the man, for if the man does not accept the Quran there is nothing the prophet can do, he cannot guide anyone, he can only show them what the Quran tells them to do. All the prophet did was teach the man what the Quran requires him to do.

Did I reject that the prophet explains the noble Quran for people? I said the prophet and Allah had that role.

Secondly, if you look at that verse you stated--the messenger is not the only mechanism in which Allah can explain the Quran because another mechanism is using a partition.

Then say it flat out . You follow a religion other than Islam so don't call yourself a Muslim ! It is finally revealed . We are no "brothers" . This is a clear fight between right and wrong , belief and disbelief ! Your insanity reached a level of claiming everyone except you and the likes are destined to hell . There is no word to explain this . Ignoranc was a thing , arrogance was a thing , but this , this madness , this outrageous madness , it leaves no room for doubt , you , are an enemy of Allah and his prophet . And I don't show a shred of holding back in battles against such enemies .

Am I the one claiming it, or is Allah almighty telling you that the nation of Islam will be all wrong and most of them will be destined to a punishment.

The Messenger will say, my Lord, my people have deserted this Qur’an. (25:30)

It is a clear fight between right and wrong. Absolutely. You just have realize who is wrong here. Your corrupted tradition that the prophet received another source of law besdies the Quran (which contradicts the Quran).

Now I would support you as a Muslim if you stated that:

1.) The prophet did not add anything to the Quran when explaining it--he just showed people what the Quran requires them to do
2.) The ONLY source of law is the Quran and both the prophet and Allah had a duty in explaining it

Once you support these 2 points, you have to reject the Sunnah (the other source of law besides the Quran)--which means you have to reject all the extra laws that are not found in the Quran.

Once you support these 2 points, you become a Muslim.

It is important that you take these Quranic words seriously brother, for your own soul,
do not turn a blind eye to the words of God in the Quran.
 
Why is it so difficult to believe all the words of God which I showed you?
 
Do you want to be sorry on Judgement day and say I wish I did not let my ego blind me from the truth?
 
I am here to help you as a brother and a friend, but I cannot do so unless you decide to believe the Quran.

Hello everyone again. I promised that I would be updating this post and systematically giving evidence against naturalism!

I have read a blog post by Michio Kaku here: http://mkaku.org/home/articles/hyperspace-and-a-theory-of-everything/. I invite you to read it.

It is very interesting as Dr. Kaku used an analogy similar to my deep sea fish analogy!

Dr. Kaku states:

"When I was a child, I used to visit the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco. I would spend hours fascinated by the carp, who lived in a very shallow pond just inches beneath the lily pads, just beneath my fingers, totally oblivious to the universe above them.

I would ask myself a question only a child could ask: what would it be like to be a carp? What a strange world it would be! I imagined that the pond would be an entire universe, one that is two-dimensional in space. The carp would only be able to swim forwards and backwards, and left and right. But I imagined that the concept of “up”, beyond the lily pads, would be totally alien to them. Any carp scientist daring to talk about “hyperspace”, i.e. the third dimension “above” the pond, would immediately be labelled a crank. The carp could see rippling shadows on the surface of the pond. The third dimension would be invisible to them, but vibrations in the third dimensions would be clearly visible. These ripples might even be felt by the carp, who would invent a silly concept to describe this, called “force.” They might even give these “forces” cute names, such as light and gravity. We would laugh at them, because, of course, we know there is no “force” at all, just the rippling of the water.

Today, many physicists believe that we are the carp swimming in our tiny pond, blissfully unaware of invisible, unseen uni- verses hovering just above us in hyperspace. We spend our life in three spatial dimensions, confident that what we can see with our telescopes is all there is, ignorant of the possibility of 10 dimensional hyperspace. Although these higher dimensions are invisible, their “ripples” can clearly be seen and felt. We call these ripples gravity and light. The theory of hyperspace, however, languished for many decades for lack of any physical proof or application. But the theory, once considered the province of eccentrics and mystics, is being revived for a simple reason: it may hold the key to the greatest theory of all time, the “theory of everything.”

I am glad that we have a brilliant open minded physicist! If only many others would follow in his footsteps and not claim that reality is only what humans are able to observe. That there could be more to reality than we can comprehend given our mental limitation and our confinement in the universe.

Dr. Kaku uses an analogy that explains how a shallow water fish can have evidence of the world beyond the shallow water--By little clues that hint to it (rain drops, picking up the fish etc. etc.. )

I take it further and say how would a blind deep sea fish have evidence of the world beyond the deep sea if it cannot leave the deep sea or observe anything in the darkness of the deep sea! It wouldn't so it shouldn't assert that nothing exists beyond the deep sea simply because if something DID exist beyond the deep sea, the fish wouldn't know about it!

The whole idea behind this post is to give you a scientific perspective that there may exist things beyond our detection. Dr. Kaku provided one example.

And I have a right to be considering the corruption that entered into Allah's religion. What a shame. This bitterness develops with the more lies and deceptions I see in Allah's religion. Indeed Allah and the prophet would be ashamed of what has come of their ummah.   

Quran 45:6 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what HADITH after Allah and His verses will they believe?

There is no room for these hadiths and these lies that entered into Islam. This verse specifically tells us that THESE are the verses that get RECITED and that you are NOT to believe in any religious statement other than what is in the Quran.

How about the verses that come right after the one above?

Quran 45:7-9 Woe to every sinful liar Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. Before them is Hell, and what they had earned will not avail them at all nor what they had taken besides Allah as allies. And they will have a great punishment.

So I come with tidings of punishment to every sunni, shia and all the heretic sects of Islam--Just as the Quran commands me to.

There is no human punishment apostasy, there is no direct heaven for martyrs, the prophet's name is not to be mentioned every time when you declare that there is no God but Allah , the prophet is not to be idolized, women do not have to wear the head cover etc. etc.....It is a shame that you make laws that Allah did not authorize.

”Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?” The Word of your Lord is complete in truth and in justice” 6:115
”This is not fabricated ‘hadith’; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a guidance and mercy for those who believe” 12:111
”We have revealed to you this book to provide explanations for everything, and guidance and mercy and good news for the submitters” 16:89


In spite of the very clear words: “fully detailed”, “details of everything” and “explanations for everything” the corrupt interpreters somehow still claim that the Quran does not include all the details! Sadly, they claim that the Quran has only mentioned the major outlines of the religion while as the details of everyday rituals are only to be found in the Hadith and Sunna!

These false claims only go to expose these people’s ignorance of the Quran, and also their disbelief in God's words.
