Salam Aleikum brothers, I have a new question: If God forgives, God ERASES the forgiven sins (this is what I have understood in Islam); So if every sin (even the forgiven ones) will be counted in the Day of Judgment, How is it possible if God erased it?, Other question: Why the verse 66:8 says that if somebody is sincere in repentance PERHAPS God forgives him: In Islam, is possible that God does not a sincere perdon in repentance? THANKS FOR ALL.

Walaikum Salam, thanks for all dear brother Abdallah, but the article only explains me the question of the PERHAPS (Because God considers all the factors to the forgiveness, but we do not know those factors, so we don't know if God will forgives us or not) But the question of the counting of the sins, even pardoned is not very clear for me; because if God forgave that, Why will it go to the account of Judgment? (IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a name of God, this is Al-Afu, and comes from a root which means: Destroy, namely, destroy the sins. So, if God destroyed those sins, Why will be these in the Judgment?)

THANKS, BLESSINGS, SALAM ALEIKUM.

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear brother,

If a sin is punished in life, such as flogging the fornicator, then it won't be punishable in the Day of Judgment.  I am not sure what you mean by this:

Quote
But the question of the counting of the sins, even pardoned is not very clear for me; because if God forgave that, Why will it go to the account of Judgment?

Again, if the sin is punished in life, then it won't be punishable in the Day of Judgment.  You also said:

Quote
but we do not know those factors, so we don't know if God will forgives us or not

And who on EARTH can tell what Allah Almighty Wills and not Wills?  Of course it is all in the Hands of Allah Almighty in the End.  But I did show you ample evidence from the Glorious Quran that it is your intentions that Allah Almighty looks at the most.  This is not about scoring points.  This is about building a reputation and a relationship with Allah Almighty.  How connected are you with Allah Almighty in life is what matters.  How True and Genuine you are with Allah Almighty is what matters.  You can pray all day long, but if you tell lies and are dishonest, then your prayers are worthless.

Even in the polytheist trinitarian pagans' scriptures, we read Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, warning his disciples to:

1-  Pray to GOD Almighty to shield them from satan's temptation.
2-  Pray to GOD Almighty to FORGIVE THEM THEIR SINS.

So, in case a polytheist trinitarian pagan is playing with your head, tell them did not Jesus Christ also say that many of you at the Day of Judgment will come to me and will be led to Hell, and will be told by me (Jesus) away from me I never knew you?

They will even tell Jesus "But Lord, did we not do work in your name and prophecy in your name?"  And he will tell them "Away from me, I never knew you".

If this doesn't answer you, then please clarify your  point.

Thank you,
Osama Abdallah

Salam Aleikum, thanks for all brother, ok, it won't be punishable, but will be it in the counting or not? but, if it is in the counting, may not it channge the things and move the balance? I have understood this, God will count all, fully all, He will count the sin but he will count the repentance, he will count the sin, but also will count the punishment in this life, with this the balance in the Day of Judgment will say the truth, in this case, the repentance in this life would serve to move the balance to our favor, this is what I understand, please, brother, if this is not the truth, correct me, because I want to know the truth.
THANKS.

Wa Alaikum As'salam dear brother,

Allah Almighty would not punish twice for the sin.  Once it's punished in this life, it won't be punishable in the Day of Judgment.  It won't change the "count".  It is Allah Almighty's Will what counts in a person's book and what doesn't.  We will certainly see all of the things we've done in the Day of Judgemnt:

Noble Verses 99:7-8 "Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!  And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it."

But it is Allah Almighty's Will to determine which gets punished and which gets forgiven.  And like I said, if something is already punished in life, then it won't be punishable in the Day of Judgment.  Not only that, but for some are most sincere, Allah Almighty will substitute their evil deeds for good deeds after their repentance:

[025:070]    Except those who repent, believe and perform righteous acts. For such ones Allah will exchange their bad deeds with good ones. And Allah is the most Forgiving, the most Merciful!

[027:011]  "But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Salam Aleikum, ok dear brother Abdallah, thanks for all, what I understand now is that Allah has the last word respect our sins and punishments, and that what we know is that something punished in this life won't be punishable in the last.

THANKS FOR ALL, SALAM ALEIKUM.
