Sharing Personal Feelings.
« on: December 01, 2013, 05:10:42 AM »
Assalamualykum.

Brother, at first please don't mind for asking such questions. Okay brother, how did you end up in USA in the first place or have you been there since your birth? I'm interested to know about your past. Please don't mind.I have also noticed one thing about the Palestinians. That is, they are not like the gulf or persian people. You Palestinians, Syrians, Lebanese and Jordanians are very kind ,gentle and welcoming and also religious. Yaseer Arafat is a bright example of that. Yes I agree that racism exists everywhere. But its much less in these 4 countries. For this I like these countries a lot. Inshallah I will settle down in any of these countries soon instead of instability. Instability doesn't matter. We should be there for our Muslim brothers in their distress and happiness.

Assalamualykum.

Well brother Osama no problem at all if you don't want to share. ;) ;D Its your personal issue. So its up to you whether you want to share or not.  ;D. But I must say you are one of the most open-minded Muslims I have ever met. It also includes some other brothers on this forum. Most people I met give much priority to their cultural background and rarely behave gently with other Muslims. They don't care whether their culture goes against Islam or not. But I don't  like giving priority to racism or culture especially if it goes against Islam. Thanks again brother Osama and other broad-minded brothers on this forum for being kind and gentle and helping me to know Islam. May Allah bless us all. Ameen.

Well all stuffs I have written above are my personal feelings. And I have no problem in sharing my personal life with you brothers. Okay let me make it clear to everyone what's my origin. I am a Pakistani Sunni Muslim. But I'm not local. We are probably the descendants of Persians-Turks like most other Pakistani Muslims with some exceptions. But I'm sure we are not local as my grandfathers and uncles have a tall figure with fair skin which most of the original locals don't have. ;D ;D ;D But they are also my brothers like all other Muslims.

Though my grandfathers, uncles and aunts are fair skinned but I am tan and medium sized. :-[ :-[ :-\ Maybe due to our geographical location and exposure to sunlight. I was also pale when I was in kuwait. :-\ What so ever, Brother at the end of the day we all are brothers irrespective of color, race, tribe and so on. Son of Adam(A.S). ;D :D 8)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“O you who believe, verily your Lord is One, and your father [Adam] is one. There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab or of a non-Arab over an Arab, or of a red man over a black man or of a black man over a red man, except in terms of taqwa (piety). Have I conveyed (the message)?” They said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has conveyed (the message).”

[Narrated by Ahmad, 5/411; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Ghaayat al-Maraam, 313; it was also narrated from Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah that its isnaad is saheeh, in al-Iqtidaa’, 69]

Wa Alaikum As'salam beloved brother Farhan,

Sorry for taking long to reply akhi.  I don't mind you asking me anything :).  We migrated to the USA back in the 80s.  I was very young of age.  2/3 of my years were spent in the USA so far.  I was born in Kuwait, and ethnically I am Palestinian by both father and mother.

As to the people in Arabia in general, there are good and bad in every nation my dear brother.  It all comes down to the government's system that is in place, and whether or not its laws are implemented and enforced or not.  Islam prohibits racism.  Allah Almighty made it very clear in the Glorious with ample Noble Verses such as the following:

"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other.  Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.  And Allah has full knowledge and is well-acquainted.  (The Noble Quran, 49:13)"

[005:002]....Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear God: for God is strict in punishment.

"O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for God can best protect both..... (The Noble Quran, 4:135)"

For ample more Noble Verses, please visit:

Unfortunately, it is part of humans' nature to be transgressors and oppressors.  This is why a nation needs clear and strong Laws to enforce Justice.  The Arab countries are corrupt.  A Law easily gets invalidated by any royal prince or his children.  So when maltreatment of foreign workers takes place, by the wholesale and by the rich princes, it goes unpunished by the government, because they are the government.  The court is secondary with them.  Its Laws only apply to the ordinary like you and me.  But the royals are above the Law.

I hope this helps, Insha'Allah, dear brother.  We would be very honored for you to come to live in Palestine  ;D.  It's your home dear brother, because you're Muslim.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Assalamualykum.

Thanks brother Osama for sharing your past with us. ;D ;D ;D Sharing these things will help us to become more strong, friendly and united.

Brother, I was also in Kuwait for almost 4 years. People of Kuwait were nice. But I doubt whether they would have been nice in case of labors or low class workers because of their superiority complex. :-\ :-\

About settling down in Palestine, no problem at all. After finishing my graduate Inshallah I will settle down there or in any of the remaining 3 countries. Yes some might call me a fool for settling down in any country with instability. But I don't care at all. It's none of a headache to me. As long as people are good, religious and broad-minded it doesn't matter at all.

And about racism my opinion is, it will be abolished by the new educated generation Inshallah. And Muslims by themselves will soon feel the need of each other as time passes by.

May Allah bless us all. Ameen.

I personally believe Palestine will develop a lot if it again gets a leader like Yaseer Arafat. It might become a role model for others.
But the only obstruction will be the Israeli Zionists.   >:( >:(

Zionist NATO forces are also killing our innocent Pakistani brothers along the border with Afghanistan in the name of terrorist by drone attacks on daily basis. >:( >:( Something same like Palestine. Same thing is happening in Afghanistan. Inshallah one day justice will be done.  :) :)

Assalamun Alaikum dear brothers

I'm a Sunni Muslim from Sri Lanka.  And there is a lot of racism here in my country. Some of the Buddhist monks give hate speeches here. And when they (buddhist) look at you in a different way as if you are a complete stranger. They treat the Muslims like we don't belong in this country. So that is me in Sri Lanka.

Thank you
Mohamed Saif

Brother muhammad saif, i can understand your difficulty especially since buddists follow a religion of satan so they can not bare to be around those who follow the religion of the almighty allah swt. This is also why that the brothers and sisters the Rhingyas are suffering because of, so i pray for you and rest of the ummah where ever we are living with those who choose to be clear enemies of allah swt by practicing magic or associating partners with allah, may allah protect us from there influence, inshallah and ameen.
