As'salamu Alaikum everyone,
First, please do not use this to mock the Bible, because could be a true story after all. But since some barking missionaries call Muta (temporary marriage) a legalized prostitution, then I want to bring to their attention the following sub-section from this article:

Muta today is not allowed in Islam. It was allowed temporarily to prevent:
1- Rape.
2- Adultery.
3- Prostitution.The article's main sections are:
