Wa Alaikum As'salam dear brother Tariq,

I apologize for not replying earlier.  I got very busy.  I'll take a look at it, insha'Allah, but the crucifixion was thoroughly refuted even from the NT itself (where it was proven that Christ never died nor got crucified).  Please visit: www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm.

Take care akhi,

John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Indeed my dear brother.  The Lord Messiah, Jesus, is indeed the way, the Truth and the Life to the hypocrites from the phariseas and others who were corrupt and needed salvation.  After all, Christ is the King of the Jews, and the Messiah.  Islam doesn't deny that.

Quote
Mathe 7:7,8
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Mathew 5:43-44
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Thank you, dear brother, for the kind and refreshing Commandments from the Prince of Peace and Love.  The Glorious Quran also gives recognition to the exceptional love that the Lord Messiah, Jesus, taught his followers and transformed them into:

[005:082]  Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.

Quote
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

One and Only Son, my dear brother, means the most beloved one, by Allah Almighty, from among all of the Righteous Servants of Allah Almighty.  This is clearly spelled out in the New Testament.  Please visit: www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm for more details.

Please feel free to reply if you have any comments or questions. May Almighty God bless you.

Thank you again for the kind words, dear brother.  You know, when I first established the website back in 1999, I used to have a message on the main page that said: "I love Christians and I have nothing against them."  But then as things got hostile and bitter between us and the anti-Islamics, that message was removed a year or so later.  It is folks like you who always give hope that we can all coexist in peace, to the whole world.  Indeed, Christians like you are full of Geniune Love.  Allah Almighty made it very clear for us, Muslims, in the Glorious Quran.

The Lord Jesus Christ is certainly my Lord and Messiah.  I give my full allegiance to him, if he were to return today, and I would obey him to the death.  But he is most certainly not my Creator.

Take care, and may Allah Almighty bless you.  Ameen.

but ALL the tafsirs say that it means marrying without giving the dawry.

I am not sure about this one, dear brother.  Can you please give us some references or links?

As'salamu Alaikum Everyone,

I often hear criticism about Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and Islam using the following Noble Verse:

[033:050]  O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who fled with you; and a believing woman if she gave herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet desired to marry her -- specially for you, not for the (rest of) believers; We know what We have ordained for them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess in order that no blame may attach to you; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

As you can see, I have crossed "to marry" in the English translation of the Noble Verse, because the Noble Verse doesn't explicitly speak about marriage.  The single women who gives herself to the Prophet, can be taken by him as either a wife or a harem or right hand possession.  The Noble Verse doesn't invalidate any marriage if the Prophet, peace be upon him, chose to marry her.  But the unmarried woman in either case must be the one who approaches the Prophet, by her free will and without any compulsion, and to offer herself to him for either marriage, or become a harem.

So what does the Bible say about this?  Is this practice for the Prophets praised in the Bible?

Answer:  The Bible has almost the same exact practice for the annointed Kings and Priests.  And the preferred women for them are virgins.  Though non-virgins would also suffice, but virgins were the most preferred.  And this practice was praised by GOD Almighty, and not condemned.  Let us examine the following verses: 1 Kings 1:1-3, 2 Kings 19:21, Esther 2:2-3, Psalm 45:14, Song of Songs 1:3, Song of Songs 6:8.

Furthermore, only virgin slave girls were spared for Moses' (peace be upon him) men after the battle was won.  The non-virgin girls and women, and all of the males were put to death.  Visit: www.answering-christianity.com/age3.htm.

Also, Prophets had 100% control over everything: http://www.answering-christianity.com/muhammads_share.htm#preists_share.

Also, men in general are allowed to marry an unlimited amount of women in the Bible's Old and New Testaments: www.answering-christianity.com/ntpoly.htm.

So if Allah Almighty wanted to give special status for Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, to either marry or take as harem any single woman who may offer herself to him, then why should this be something bad?

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

As'salamu Alaikum brothers,

May I step in, please?  Brothers, we can always agree to disagree.  I know that one sometimes feels very strongly about a point, but would passionately defend it.  This is what makes religion very dangerous often.  People get hostile easily with each others when they discuss religion.

Can we please speak with respect with each others?  In the end, even if the person doesn't buy your point, but the readers might.  So even if the person one may argue with doesn't get convinced, but your point was already put forth, and everyone read it, or will read it.  So, if we learn to stop at those boundaries, then insha'Allah, we'll be able to dialogue more successfully whether on this blog or anywhere else.

No need to fight and insult each others, dear brothers.  The dajjal issue and the interpretations of Hadiths regarding the anti-Christ, and whether some of them are to be taken literally or metaphorically isn't a pillar of IslamIslam doesn't rise and fall on it.  It's not like you're arguing on whether Allah Almighty is One or not.  So the at the end of the day, you're both Muslims, and are brothers in Islam.  So let's be kind to each others, and also be kind to non-Muslims as well.  And please, when we enter blogs (whether this one or another one), let's be accepting to the fact that there are people out there who will disagree with us.  So, let's force ourselves to remain in the boundaries of just posting our points for all to see, and not get into personalizing the discussion.

What I want to ask is if I can use parts of your site, print it out on paper and make a little book, not publish it literally obviously, but get loads of print outs and staple them together and give them to the other brother, which will include science in the Qur'an etc.

My dear brother, if I am of any obsticle to you spreading Islam, then either just step over me, or throw me in the garbage.  You have my FULL PERMISSION to use the website however you see BEST FIT to spread Islam.  This goes for all readers, and I made this abdundantly clear on the emailme.htm page as well.

By the way, you don't have to give them "stuff", dear brother, and go through the trouble of back and forth debates, and creating very uncomfortable environment that could cause you to lose your friends.  I've been through it before, and it's not comfortable at all.  ALL YOU NEED after making Dua (Supplication) to Allah Almighty, is to forward them to this article:

www.answering-christianity.com/convert_christians.htm

There is even an "Email this Article to your Friend" button that you can click and email the article to them.  So you don't even have to let them know that it was you.  Just get their emails and email them.  This article has everything they need to convert to Islam, insha'Allah, only if Allah Almighty has the Will for them.

If you still prefer to personally engage them, then I advise you to follow the systematic steps in the article to make it easy on yourself, insha'Allah.

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.  May Allah Almighty greatly bless you akhi.  Ameen.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

But i read in another article you said that adam and eve had sex in paradise.

Of course they had sex, dear brother.  The research here proves that Mankind wasn't just merely created from sex and pregnancy only.  At one point, Allah Almighty took from the existing few People of Adam (Adam's direct children; no incest), and exploded their numbers into the multitudes and nations and tribes and families that humanity is made of today.

That's what Noble Verse 7:172 seems to clearly suggest:

7:172 واذ اخذ ربك من بني ادم من ظهورهم ذريتهم

[007:172]  When thy Lord took (اخذ) from the Children of Adam - from their loins backs (ظهورهم)- their descendants.....

And again, cloning is not a foreign concept in the Glorious Quran.  Satan's final battle with GOD Almighty is to cause mankind to "cut the cattle's ears and alter the creation of Allah Almighty" (4:119), i.e., cloning (as this is how it began today).

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Osama Abdallah

Another thing I just remembered.  After I woke up, and I believe I also said this during the dream (not sure when though), and after I calmed down I had a tear in my eye and said: "Habibi ya Allah.  Ya Habibi ya Allah.  Rahmitak ya Allah", which translates: "My Beloved, O Allah.  O my Beloved, O Allah.  Your Mercy (bestow it upon me), O Allah".  Then my heart calmed.  I always always always always get calm in my heart when I call upon Allah Almighty in humility.  It's called Sakina (Sakeena) sent down on my heart.  There are many Noble Verses in the Glorious Quran that speak about the Sakina.

I also almost always address Allah Almighty with "My Beloved....." and end His Holy Name with a Glorifying term, such as "Almighty", or "Sovereign GOD of the Universe".  But I almost always start with "O my Beloved, O Allah."

Osama Abdallah

I also just remembered something:

While being suspended above the vast roaring sea of Hell lava, and the nearest land was a mountain (maybe two) that was far far far far away, and there was nothing but the vast sea all around me when I looked 360 degrees around myself, I remember me telling myself in the dream (while shivering from fear): "I didn't fall".  Or "You didn't fall".  It was one of the two.  It did dawn on me, and it did occur to me that I actually did not fall.  And then the dream ended.  It wasn't like I was free falling and then woke up.  No!  I did come to a complete sudden stop.  And I wasn't hurt.  I was full of fear and shivering, and my teeth were chattering, but I didn't get hurt.  And I actually stayed long enough to ponder upon what I was above.  I took the 360 degree view all around myself.  I had all of these seconds to do all of this while being fully stopped and fully safely suspended.  That I guarantee you that it did happen in the dream.  Wallahi with all honesty.  By Allah Almighty's Holy Name, this is what happened.

I hope this helps, insha'Allah.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

Tell me more about the dream please?

And are you HONESTLY HONESTLY HONESTLY being truthful?

May Allah Almighty curse me if I lied, akhi.  By Allah Almighty's Holy Name, and by His Holy Quran I had this dream.  I honestly had it, and it was terrifying.  It was a sea of molten lava underneath me.  But like I said, it wasn't hot for being close to it.  But it was a vast sea of volcano lava under me.  So you can imagine how scary that would be.  And while it didn't hurt me with its heat, but I certainly know that it would've vaporized me if I fell into it.  And like I said, I was hearing screams of many people, but yet I didn't see anyone.

I personally think that the more you're into something, the more the possibility that you'll get dreams about it.  In my case, I am sooooo very into the Lifeafter and what it really is like.  I mean, my mind is always thinking about it on daily basis.  I don't think a day would pass by without pondering upon this issue.  And so, it is only normal to get a dream about it.

Now I really don't know what the dream meant.  Dreams are tricky, and we can't just force them to mean certain things.  I had this dream, and I wanted to share it with everyone to get some input.  The events that happened in the dream were 100% beyond my control, except the one where I looked 360 degrees around.  The free fall and the fear and the suspension above the sea of Hell lava were 100% beyond my control.  I had absolutely no control over them in my dream.  They were events that were happening, and I was completely helpless.

I hope this helps, insha'Allah, dear brother.

Take care,
Osama Abdallah

As'salamu Alaikum dear brothers,

As in one of brother's Sama's, Dr. Zakir Naik thoroughly demonstrated many of the Bible's scientific blunders during his debate with Dr. William Campbell.  The videos of the debate can be downloaded at:
