As-Salamu `Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh brother,
In the Glorious Qur'an, Almighty Allah states, "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion." [2:256]
When anybody does something he likes, he does so happily and is relaxed doing so, whereas if somebody is forced to do something, he does so because he is subdued and feels rather irritated doing so. In this verse, Allah, the Most Glorified and Exalted, indirectly states that none should be forced to do anything regarding religion, but should do so out of faith and free-will. In addition, Almighty Allah mentions in Surah Al-Kahf, "And say, "The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills - let him believe; and whoever wills - let him disbelieve." [18:29]

Brother, the Rightly Guided Caliphs did not go against the teachings of Islam, and you could distinguish that from their name. In addition, 'Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: One day Messenger of Allah (may Allah bess him and grant him peace) delivered us a very eloquent sermon on account of which eyes shed tears and hearts were full of tears. A man said, "O Prophet of Allah, this is as if it were a parting advice. So advise us". He (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said, "I admonish you to fear Allah, to listen and obey even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed as your leader. Because whosoever among you shall live after me, will see much discord. So hold fast to my Sunnah and the examples of the Rightly Guided Caliphs who will come after me. Adhere to them and hold to it fast. Beware of new things (in religion) because every innovation is a misguidance". [Abu Dawud and At- Tirmidhi]

The aim of conquest is not to make people convert to Islam against their will, but to open the country for Muslims, as it is even called 'al-Fatūḥāt al-Islāmiyya'. At those times, expanding land was very important. In addition, Muslims are not allowed to kill any innocent people, and you could tell that too as Almighty Allah stated, "O you who have believed, prescribed for you is legal retribution for those murdered - the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But whoever overlooks from his brother anything, then there should be a suitable follow-up and payment to him with good conduct. This is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy. But whoever transgresses after that will have a painful punishment." [2:178]
In addition, Almighty Allah said, "And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right. And whoever is killed unjustly - We have given his heir authority, but let him not exceed limits in [the matter of] taking life. Indeed, he has been supported [by the law]." [17:33]
The Caliphs (may Almighty Allah be pleaed with them) also warned their troops of killing innocent people when going to conquest.

That's why everybody loved the Muslims even after they had carried out many conquests. May Allah forgive me if I made any mistakes in this post... Best regards.
As-Salamu Alaykum.

A Filipino man came today to the mosque and converted to Islam. Thank you Allah! Pray to Almighty Allah to guide him and make all his tasks easier, Allahumma Ameen. Subhan Allah, how Allah guides some whereas if you give others all the proofs on Earth of Islam being the truth they do not believe. "He whom Allah guides, is rightly guided; but he whom He sends astray, for him you will find no Walee (guiding friend) to lead him (to the right Path)." [18:17] ALLAHU AKBAR! \=D/

Prophet Muhammad (Salallâhu `Alayhi Wa 'Âlihî Wa Sallam) is mentioned in Hindu scriptures too. And brother, the Noble Qur'an, too, states that the moon reflects light. See the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWkJtIhBAB4&feature=youtube_gdata_player

By Prof. Pundit Vaid Parkash, Translated by Mir Abdul Majeed

The Last Kalki Autar (Messenger) that the Veda has foretold and who is waited on by Hindus is the Prophet Muhammed ibn Abdullah (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him)

A recently published book in Hindi has raised a lot of hue and cry all over India. In the event of the author being Muslim, he would have been jailed AND a strict ban would have certainly been imposed on the printing and the publishing of the book.

The author of this important research work "Kalki Autar" i.e. "Guide and Prophet of whole universe" comes of a Bengali race and holds an important portfolio at Ilahabad University. Pundit Vaid Parkash is a Brahman Hindu and a well known Sanskrit scholar and research workder.
Pundit Vaid Parkash, after a great deal of toil and hard-work, presented the work to as many as eight great Pundits who are themselves very well known in the field of research in India, and are amongst the learned religious leaders. Their Pundits, after thorough study of the book, have acknowledged this to be true and authentic research work.

Important religious books of India mention the guide and prophet by the specific name of "Kalki Autar" it denotes the great man Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) who was born in Makkah. Hence, all Hindus where-ever they may be, should wait no longer for any other 'kalik autar' but to embrace Islam and follow in the footsteps of the last Messenger of Allah (swt) who was sent in the world about fourteen hundred years ago with a mission from Him and after accomplishing it has long ago departed this world. As an argument to prove the authenticity of his research, Pundit Vaid Parkash quotes from the Veda, a sacred book among Hindus:

1. Veda mentions that 'kalki autar' will be the last Messenger/Prophet of Bhagwan (Allah) to guide the whole world. Afer quoting this reference the Pundit Parkash says that this comes true only in the case of Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him).

2. According to a prophecy of Hinduism, 'kalki autar' will be born in an island and that is the Arab territory which is known as 'jazeeratul Arab'.

3. In the 'sacred' book of Hindus the father's name of 'kalki autar' is mentioned as 'Vishnu Bhagat' and his mother's name as 'somanib'. In sanskrit, 'vishnu' stands for Allah (swt) and the literal meaning of 'bhagat' is slave.

'Vishnu Bhagat' therefore, in the Arabic language will mean Allah's slave (Abdullah). 'Somanib' in Sanskrit means peace and tranquilty which in arabic is denoted by the word 'Amina'. Whereas the last Messenger Muhammed's (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) father and mother's names were Abdullah (Peace be upon him) and Amina (Peace be upon him) respectively.

4. In the big books of Hindus, it is mentioned that 'kalki autar' will live on olive and dates and he will be true to his words and honest. In this regard Pundit Parkash writes, "This is true and established only in the case of Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him)".

5. Veda mentions that 'kalki autar' will be born in the respected and noble dynasty of his land. And this is also true as regards Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) as he was born in the respected tribe of Quraish who enjoyed great respect and high place in Makkah.

6. 'Kalki Autar' will be taught in the cave by Bhagwan through his own messenger. And it is very true in this matter. Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) was the only one person in Makkah who has taught by Allah's Messenger Gabriel in the cave of Hira.

7. It is written in the books which Hindus believe that Bhagwan will provide 'Kalki autar' with the fastest of a horse and with the help of which he will ride around the world and the seven skies/heavens. The riding on 'Buraq' and 'Meraj' by the Prophet Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) proves what?

8. It is also written in the Hindus' books that 'kalki autar' will be strengthened and heavily helped
by Bhagwan. And we know this fact that Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) was aided and reinforced by Allah (swt) through His angels in the battle of Badr.

9. Hindus' books also mention that 'kalki autar' will be an expert in horse riding, arrow shooting, and swordsmanship. What Pundit Vaid Parkash comments in this regard is very important and worth attention and consideration. He writes that the age of horses, swords, and spears is long ago gone and now is the age of modern weapons like tanks, missiles, and guns, and therefore it will be unwise to wait for 'kalki autar' bearing sword and arrows or spears. In reality, the mention in our books of 'kalki autar' is clearly indicative of Muhammed (Peace, Mercy & Blessing of ALLAH be upon him) who was given the heavenly book known as Al-Qur'an.

Times have changed. 50 years ago, almost every person exceeding the age of 12 would have already been married.

Antiapartied, in the future, be cautious regarding the tone you address the Messenger of Allah (may Almighty Allah bless him and grant him peace) and his wife, `Â'isha, the mother of believers (may Almighty Allah be pleased with her), with. :)

You guys are seriously epically failing at trying to disprove Islam and show why it is not true. Brothers Osama Abdallah, Zakir Naik, Yusuf Estes, Abdur Raheem Green, Hussein Yee, Tawfique Choudhary, Zaghloul En-Naggar and all other Islamic preachers never faced any question or statement against Islam without an answer or a statement proving Islam to be untrue. All what you challenge them with, they have came across and even worse. So just stop or at least be logical and see both points of view before commenting against Islam.

Mokko, anybody can easily tell the Noble Qur'an is the Word of God and not man from it's eloquence and flawlessness from the literary aspect. Even the disbelievers of Quraysh, who were the best poets to ever roam the Earth, knew certainly that the Noble Qur'an could not possibly be the word of any man, but the Word of the Almighty Himself.

In addition, God the Almighty gave Islam Prophet Muhammad (may Almighty God bless him and grant him peace) a specific blessing or characteristic; that is to say, they both have the power to guide people of all times, and not just the nations at the time. Hence, God, the Most Glorified and Exalted, showed us His divinity in the Noble Qur'an in scientific and historical miracles, showing that the Noble Qur'an could be of no other origin save from God the Almighty Himself. www.miraclesofthequran.com

Yes, some say Neil Armstrong did not officially become a Muslim whereas others say it was confirmed. Of course, only God knows in the end.

Even if the moon landing was fake, that has nothing to do with the splitting of the moon. They have space telescopes. Secondly, NASA hates Islam. Surely, they would not forge anything that would cause people to embrace Islam. They even refused to show true evidence proving Islam to be true many times, let alone they forge something for the benefit of Islam. :P

Check my post. 'Sâ`ah" does indeed refer to the Hour (Day of Judgement), but it says the Hour has drawn nearer and the moon has already split as it was one of the signs of the Hour. Check the post I have posted. In addition, there are various sayings by the Messenger of Allah's (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) companions indicating that the moon had already split and it was this that the Noble Qur'an mentioned in the 54th Sûrah.

And Allah always knows best.

An Undeniable Miracle of God: The Splitting of the Moon

Many people are talking about this topic. Did the moon really split? If it did really split, is there any non-biased evidence supporting the claim? God willing, all these questions will be answered in this very post, just keep reading on.

Dr. Zaghloul El-Naggar, a Muslim scholar and author, was carrying out a sermon in a university in Britain where he mentioned the splitting of the moon being recently proved.

Before carrying on any further, let us first know exactly what happened approximately 1400 years back with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and what the Noble Qur'an mentions with regards to the splitting of the moon. Abdullah bin Masoud, a companion of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), narrated, "We were along with God's Messenger at Mina, that moon was split up into two. One of its parts was behind the mountain and the other one was on this side of the mountain. God's Messenger said to us, "Bear witness to this."

The Noble Qur'an states in the 54th chapter, "The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder. And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say, "This is continuous magic." They belied and followed their own lusts. And every matter will be settled. And indeed there has come to them news (in this Qur'an) wherein there is (enough warning) to check (them from evil); Perfect wisdom (this Qur'an), but (the preaching of) warners benefit them not, so (O Muhammad) withdraw from them..." [54:1-6]

It is believed that before the emigration to Medina, the people of Mecca asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to show them a miracle. He asked them what miracle they wanted to observe and they replied by saying they wanted him to split the moon. Raising his hand, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated the Almighty and the moon was split into two halves that a mountain was visible between them.

The King of India, Chakrawati Farmas, was a witness to the event. A historical Indian manuscript reports that there is a very old tradition in Malabar, South-West Coast of India, that Chakrawati Farmas, one of their kings had observed the splitting of the moon, the celebrated miracle of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at Mecca, and learning, on inquiry, that there was a prediction of the coming of a messenger of God from Arabia, he appointed his son as regent and set out to meet him. He embraced Islam at the hands of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when returning home, at the direction of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), died at the port of Zafar. This information is in an Indian manuscript kept in the "India Office Library", which houses a number of other details about King Chakrawati Farmas. In addition, he is also mentioned in a number of Hadîths.

Anyway, Dr. Zaghloul El-Naggar, as we have mentioned previously, was carrying out a sermon discussing the splitting of the moon. He mentioned a British Muslim brother, Dawud Musa. While he was searching for a religion, a friend gave him a copy of the Noble Qur'an translated in English. He opened it and came across Sûratul-Qamar and began reading. "The Hour has drawn nearer and the moon has been cleft asunder," he read, then looked at this and said, "The moon has split?!" He then stopped reading the Noble Qur'an and did not open it again.

One day, while watching a program on BBC, the broadcaster was talking with three American scientists, blaming America for spending billions of dollars on space projects when millions are suffering from poverty. The scientists strived to explain why it is vital to go into space exploration. As the conversation developed, the scientists came to discuss the most expensive trip to the moon, which costed approximately 100 billion dollars. The broadcaster criticized them, saying, "So to put the American flag on the moon, you spent this much money?!"

The scientists explained that this much money was spent because they were trying to study the internal structure of the moon to see what similarities it has with the Earth. In addition, they said that they were surprised to find what they referred to as 'a belt of rocks' that goes from the surface of the moon right to the inner depths.

After sharing this information with their geologists, who were also surprised, they concluded that this could not have been possible unless the moon was once split and resealed. The rocks on the belt are but a result of the impact during the time that the two halves of the moon recombined with one another.

Watching this, brother Dawud sprang off his seat, screaming, "This is Muhammad's miracle which occurred more than 1400 years ago, and now the Americans are spending billions of dollars to prove it to the Muslims." He then added, "This must surely be a true religion." And so, where once Sûratul-Qamar was a cause for him disbelieving and turning away from Islam, it was now the reason for his embracing Islam.
