GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Question about Zakir Naik
« on: December 12, 2016, 03:12:37 AM »
Akhi Osama, Assalamo Alaikum,

I got to know Zakir Naik through your website. I read a couple of articles in his website peace. Later, I saw his picture receiving award from Saudi Arabia Ruler Salman.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/03/world/middleeast/saudi-award-goes-to-dr-zakir-naik-a-muslim-televangelist-who-harshly-criticizes-us.html?_r=0
I researched further about Zakir and found on Wikipedia “He is regarded by some as an exponent of the Salafi ideology, and, by some, as a radical Islamic televangelist propagating Wahhabism”

Let me remind you what our beloved Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ) told us:

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever resides in the deserts, he becomes ignorant, whoever follows game, he becomes heedless, and whoever comes to the door of the Sultan, he will suffer a Fitnah (perverted).

Narrated AbuHurayrah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He said: He who sticks to a king is perverted. This version adds: The nearer a servant (of Allah) goes to a king, the farther he keeps away from Allah.

the Prophet , peace be upon him , said: Beware of the doors of the Sultan, it may become difficult downs

Ali ibn Abi Taleb said: if you see the scholars at the doors of the kings, then the kings and the scholars are evil, and if you see the kings at the door of the scholars, then the kings and the scholars are righteous.

I am really confused. Can you please explain to me???

Assalamo Alaykom,

If every human on earth claim that Quran contains errors, don’t believe them.
1)   Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption). (15:9)

The disbelievers recognize Islam very well but they are arrogant. They want to be the leaders (Prophets), not Mohammad.
2)   Then, if they turn away, your duty (O Muhammad) is only to convey (the Message) in a clear way. They recognise the Grace of Allah, yet they deny it (by worshipping others besides Allah) and most of them are disbelievers (deny the Prophethood of Muhammad). (16:82-83)

Allah told Prophet Mohammad ONLY to convey the message in a clear way, part of the message is:
3)   And the (faithful) slaves of the Most Gracious (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. (25:63)

Is it worth it to disobey Allah and earn His anger because of those evil people? There is no reason to expose them, etc. This is what Allah said in Quran:
4)   Say: O disbelievers! I worship not that which ye worship; Nor worship ye that which I worship. And I shall not worship that which ye worship. Nor will ye worship that which I worship. Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion. (109:1-6)

I can assure you that if you tell them these verses, they will become very angry. But, if you fire back into them, they will cheer because they will know that they achieved their goal. Their goal is to provoke Muslims and to mock Quran.

As you see, Islam (Quran) is very simple but we need to understand it and act upon it. Then we will win by the favor of Allah. So, please hold your horses!

My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the devils. And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me. (23: 97-98)

My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority (17:80)

My Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous, And grant me an honourable mention in later generations, And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight.  (26:83-85)

O my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer. (14:40)

Our Lord! Grant unto us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous. (25:74)

My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors. (21:89)

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents and believers on the day when the account is cast. (14:41)

Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed and we follow the messenger, so write us down with those who bear witness. (3:53)

Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower (3:8)

Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers. (7:23)

Our Lord! In Thee we put our trust, and unto Thee we turn repentant, and unto Thee is the journeying. Our Lord! do not make us a trial for those who disbelieve, and forgive us, our Lord! surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise. (60:4-5)

Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful. (59:10)

Our Lord! Therefor forgive us our sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous. Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break (Your) Promise. (3:193-194)

Our Lord, decide between us and our people in truth, and You are the best of those who give decision. (7:89)

Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You]. (7:126)

Our Lord! make us not a trial for those who practise oppression; And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people. (10:85-86)

Our Lord! forgive us for our sins and wasted efforts, make our foothold sure, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk. (3:147)

Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people. (2:286)

My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will). (46:15)

64
Assalamo Alaikum,

This is incorrect.

(49:13) O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.

(68:4) And Verily, you (O Muhammad) are on an exalted (standard of) character.

Wa Alaikum As’alam,

According to Quran, the disbelievers insulted the Prophet (ﷺ), but I don’t see any verse instructing the Prophet or Muslims to kill those who insult the Prophet. If there is one, please advise me.

•   (15:6) And they say: "O you (Muhammad SAW ) to whom the Dhikr (the Quran) has been sent down! Verily, you are a mad man.

•   (38:4) And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar.

The Prophet (ﷺ) didn’t kill those who insulted him, but asked Allah to forgive them.

•   Aisha Narrated that she asked the Prophet (ﷺ), 'Have you encountered a day harder than the day of the battle) of Uhud?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Your tribes have troubled me a lot, and the worse trouble was the trouble on the day of 'Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn `Abd-Yalail bin `Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to my demand. So I departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and proceeded on, and could not relax till I found myself at Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky to see a cloud shading me unexpectedly. I looked up and saw Gabriel in it. He called me saying, 'Allah has heard your people's saying to you, and what they have replied back to you, Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you so that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.' The Angel of the Mountains called and greeted me, and then said, "O Muhammad! Order what you wish. If you like, I will let Al-Akh-Shabain (i.e. two mountains) fall on them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No but I hope that Allah will let them beget children who will worship Allah Alone, and will worship None besides Him."

•   Abu Huraira reported it was said to the Prophet (ﷺ) to invoke curse upon the polytheists, whereupon he said: I have not been sent as the invoker of curse, but I have been sent as mercy."

GENERAL TOPICS | BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS / Question re miracle of 19
« on: November 22, 2016, 11:58:57 AM »
As’alamo Alaikim Brother Osama,

I have read few articles about the miracle of 19 in your website and I have few questions:

What is the reason that he didn’t mention the entire verse as in this example?
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0269.jpg
But the actual verse is:
By the way, this is not the only example. There are other examples that he didn’t mention the whole verse.

Why did he only mention two words only from verse 36?
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0277.jpg
One would claim that he is only using whatever words that are suitable to satisfy and prove his theory!

Quote from your article: “Adding all of the numerical values of the Prophets' and Messengers' names that were mentioned in the Holy Quran also all add up to a number that is a multiple of the number 19 without any remainder:
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0236.jpg
http://www.answering-christianity.com/the_great_miracle_book/Scan0237.jpg
1)   I noticed that he mentioned the name of Prophet Jesus twice, once as Issa and another as Al-maseeh Essa ibn Mariam; and the name of Prophet Mohammad twice, once as Mohammad and another as Ahmed; and the name of Prophet Ibrahim twice, once with I and another without I.
I am only thinking of why he added the names of these Prophets twice? The only meaning I would think of is that he only wants to prove his theory!!!

Please note that those are only my thoughts and I could be wrong. Thus can you please explain this to me.

68
As'salamo Alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

When Jibril asked Prophet (ﷺ) to tell him about the sign of the hour, He said: "when you see the barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings - وَأَنْ تَرَى الْحُفَاةَ الْعُرَاةَ الْعَالَةَ رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ يَتَطَاوَلُونَ فِي الْبُنْيَانِ ‏ "

I am thinking that Muslims misunderstood this Hadeeth, because they only attributed it to the Arab in the Gulf i.e. the Arab of the desert were poor, working as shepherd, and then they became rich and constructed tall buildings. I think that this Hadeeth has different meaning!

1) The Hadeeth began with (when you see the barefoot and naked), Prophet (ﷺ) didn't say (those who were barefoot and naked i.e. in the past). Thus, this means that we MUST see them in our naked eyes. As we see today, mankind (men/women) from all walks of life wear bikini in Egypt, Dubai, Lebanon, Jordan, Europe, China, India, and so on. We also see them in public half naked. If the Prophet (ﷺ) meant with (naked, barefoot, shepherd) as "poor" i.e. couldn't afford the cost of dress, he could have simply said (al-masakeen or al-fokra'a / المساكين او الفقراء).

2) (رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ is translated to shepherds) and in another Hadeeth, it says, (رِعَاءَ الْبَهْمِ which is translated to herdsmen), but if we read this Hadeeth (كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ - All of you are shepherds (guardians) and each of you is responsible for his flock), then (رِعَاءَ الشَّاءِ) could mean "guardians of the beast i.e. those who have no brain).

3) Then, he said (competing in constructing tall buildings), which we see today all over the earth.

Therefore, the meaning of the Hadeeth will be: "you will see the barefoot, the naked, the destitute, the guardians of the beast constructing tall buildings". I think Prophet   (ﷺ) described mankind in this Hadeeth as (beast - الْبَهْمِ). The scary question is, does this include "those who think that they are Muslims because WE ALL think that we are Muslims but Allah alone knows this)?

If my thoughts are correct, then Allah yostar! because the Prophet (ﷺ) also said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.

I decided to share with you my thoughts to solicit your feedback. Please feel free to brainstorm.

Jazakom Allah Khair,

Wa alaykom as-salam,

Jazak Allah khair brother Osama. I am well aware of this verse and I always encourage Muslims to become friends with non-Muslims to tell them about Islam and also to advertise in public media about Islam.

When I suggested not to waste your time in debating certain groups, I didn’t mean every non-Muslim, I meant those who have PhD in Islamic studies and don’t believe in Islam and work hard to misinterpret Quran to mislead Muslims and non-Muslims. When I checked the two websites that were provided by Brother Omar  I made a conclusion that those people are already read your website and many other Islamic websites word by word, and they know Islam as they know their sons, but they are only playing!!! Thus I decided to remind all of us that Allah told us to turn away from those who mock Quran.

(6:68) When you see people mocking Our revelations, turn away from them so that they may change the subject. If Satan causes you to forget this, do not sit with the unjust people when you remember.

(29:46) And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best, except for those who commit injustice among them, and say, "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you. And our God and your God is one; and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him."

As I said in my previous respond “put your trust in Allah and go ahead and debate with them”.

May Allah accept your good deeds and support you,

Wa Alaykom As-salam,

My argument is why you would waste your efforts with those who Allah described them as:

(2:146) Those unto whom We gave the Scripture recognise (this revelation) as they recognise their sons. But lo! a party of them knowingly conceal the truth.

Anyways, may Allah support you when you debate with him, and may Allah guide him to Islam.

As-salamo Alaikum,

When I checked the website you provided in your article below, I found it disgusting. Those people enjoy mocking Quran because they are Satan and their goal is only to damage Islam and mislead others. I don’t recommend dealing with them. I wrote one article of how to call non-Muslims into Islam
http://www.answering-christianity.com/blog/index.php/topic,2383.0.html I want also to add one more verse:

(6:111) Even if We did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and We gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah's plan. But most of them ignore (the truth).

I also replied to an article for those who think that hell fire may not be eternal and it may end at one point
http://www.answering-christianity.com/blog/index.php/topic,1492.0.html and explained the reasons of why Allah wants to punish them in hell fire for eternal. I want also to add two more verses to prove further that hell fire is indeed for eternal (no end):

(6:27-28) If thou couldst see when they are set before the Fire and say: Oh, would that we might return! Then would we not deny the revelations of our Lord but we would be of the believers! Nay, but that hath become clear unto them which before they used to hide. And if they were sent back they would return unto that which they are forbidden. Lo! they are liars.

Please note that I am only telling you of what I understood from Quran. If you know anything that I forgot to mention, please remind me.

As’salamo alaikum dear brothers and sisters,

First of all, the reason for calling to Islam should be based on a win-win solution. We want to win the blessings of Allah, and the person we are inviting into Islam should feel that he/she is welcomed to ask any questions they have in their minds regardless of anything.

Second, we must follow Quran and the way of Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ):

1.   Never insult or confront non-Muslims i.e. don't fire back into those who criticize Islam by criticizing their religion. They do this on purpose to stir Muslims and damage Islam.

(6:108) And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge…

2.   When non-Muslims insult Muslims, we should say word of peace only. We are not allowed to insult them.

(28:55) And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, “For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant.”

3.   We also should remember that Allah ordered us to avoid those who mock Quran.

(6:68) When you see people mocking Our revelations, turn away from them so that they may change the subject. If Satan causes you to forget this, do not sit with the unjust people when you remember.

4.   We must use Quran alone for reference.

(50:45)... So admonish with the Qur'an such as fear My Warning.

5.   Please follow the way of Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ). Always inform them good news and if you become angry, remember to remain silent.

•   Anas reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Make things easy and do not make them difficult, cheer the people up by conveying glad tidings to them and do not repulse (them). “يسروا ولا تعسروا وبشروا ولا تنفروا”

•   Ibn Abbas reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Teach and make things easy and not difficult. When one of you is angry, he should be silent.”
“عَلِّمُوا وَيَسِّرُوا وَلاَ تُعَسِّرُوا، وَإِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَسْكُتْ‏"

6.   If you choose to use other references i.e.;
•   Deuteronomy (18:18) I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

Then, please don’t let them feel that you are confronting them. Otherwise, they will immediately tell you either “Jesus” or “the Prophet didn’t come yet”. Instead, show them that you are enquiring about it. You can say: I am unable to understand of why God told Moses that He will put His words in the mouth of the new Prophet. God already gave His words to Moses “Law”. Why God didn’t tell Moses that “I will send another Prophet to teach the Law that I already gave it to you”? Well, does this mean that God forgot to tell Moses specific things, or made errors and He wants to correct them. Of course not, this is impossible. God doesn’t forget nor makes errors. Therefore, I am guessing that God knew that mankind will alter His Law and want to send another Prophet to correct it.

Well, they may say its “The Bible, New Testimony”. You can tell them, but according to the Bible, Jesus said that he came to fulfill the Law of Moses.
•   Matt (5:17) Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Then, you can say, does this mean that Jesus wants to fulfill a corrupted Law. It doesn’t make sense. So, it seems to me that the Bible is also altered; and so on.

I am sure that you will not be able to convince them except Allah wills. So, I prefer to use only Quran as a reference.

If anyone has a better suggestion, please feel free to share it with us. May Allah guide all of us to the straight path.

Jazakom Allah Khair

Quran Morality and Moral Code, Laws & QA / Re: Is Hell eternal?
« on: November 08, 2016, 10:55:41 AM »
As’salamo Alaikum,

After reading all the articles in this post, I decided to elaborate further.

•   Allah is merciful to those who deserve His mercy:

(7:156) …He said: I smite with My punishment whom I will, and My mercy embraceth all things, therefore I shall ordain it for those who ward off (evil) and pay the poor-due, and those who believe Our revelations

•   How about the evil people:

(2:124) … [Allah] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers”

•   Before Allah created us, He made us testify that He is our Lord (Allah):

(7:172) … and made them testify of themselves, (saying): Am I not your Lord? They said: Yea, verily. We testify. (That was) lest ye should say at the Day of Resurrection: Lo! of this we were unaware

•   Allah also shown mankind the way of evil and good (i.e. His orders in details), and He gave us the option to choose which way to follow. Of course Allah knows what every one of us would choose:

1.   (76:3) Lo! We have shown him the way, whether he be grateful or disbelieving.
2.   (90:10) And shown him the two ways (good and evil)?

•   Allah knows that there is no good in the disbeliever even if He shows them every sign, they will not believe:

1.   (8:23) If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith).

2.   (15:14-15) Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they were to continue (all day) ascending therein, They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery."

•   Allah didn’t allow compulsion into Islam because He made everything clear:

(2:256) There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path…

•   Allah doesn’t need anyone to teach Quran. He alone teaches Quran to those who knew that they are good. As we hear today, there are many non-Muslims converting to Islam while they have never met a Muslim nor knew anything about Islam. All what’s happened, they read few pages about Islam by accident, and they immediately believed in Islam:

1.   (55:1-2) The Most Merciful; It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.

2.   (5:16) Wherewith Allah guideth all who seek His good pleasure to ways of peace and safety, and leadeth them out of darkness, by His will, unto the light,- guideth them to a path that is straight.

•   Also, we all know that there are many non-Muslims who are expert in Quran and they teach it in American Universities but they don’t believe in it. The reason for this is because as I mentioned above, Allah knew that there is no good in them:

(2:6) Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe.

•   Allah knows all things including what we conceal in our hearts. Allah also did not deliver for disbelievers Quran because they are arrogates:

(7:146) I will turn away from My signs those who are arrogant upon the earth without right; and if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. And if they see the way of consciousness, they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. That is because they have denied Our signs and they were heedless of them.

•   How about those who are doing good deeds from among the disbelievers? Allah said about them that they think that they are doing good.

1.   (7:30) … they choose the devils for protecting supporters instead of Allah and deem that they are rightly guided.

2.   What will happen to the deeds that they did? Allah said that He will not accept it. (25:23) And We shall turn unto the work they did and make it scattered motes.

•   Allah said in (6:128) and (11:107) that the disbelievers will dwell in hell fire for ever “except as Allah willeth”. This means “except those who Allah willeth not to enter hell fire i.e. the believers”. In other words, “The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except those who believed”.

1.   (6:128) …He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah willeth."…

2.   (11:107) They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth.

•   Allah also said in (11:108) that the believers will dwell in paradise forever “except as thy Lord willeth”. Again it means that “except those who Allah willeth not to enter paradise i.e. the disbelievers”.

(11:108) And those who are blessed shall be in the Garden: They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: a gift without break.

•   One may think that Allah may make a camel pass through a needle point and end hell fire because He is Merciful, Generous and He alone knows the unseen. I agree, but Allah also informed us in Quran about certain things and thus those things become known for mankind. For instance, the disbelievers knew that Allah said in (36:82) when He intends a thing, He only says "be", and it will happen. They also knew that Allah said in (85:16) He does what He wills. They even acknowledged that they will enter hell fire for a few days as in (3:24). When Allah said “until camel pass through the needle point”, He wants to make it crystal clear for them that it’s impossible to enter Heaven because camel will never be able to enter through the needle point as they see this in their naked eyes. Perhaps, the Arab used to say this idiom to describe “something is impossible to happen” at that time, thus Allah communicated with them in the same language!

•   According to Quran, hell fire and heaven are both eternal (no end), but with different levels of torment and pleasure; and Allah will never change His promise.

(68:35-38) Shall We then treat the People of Faith like the People of Sin? What is the matter with you? How judge ye? Or have ye a book through which ye learn; That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose?

(43:76) And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers.

If you have any suggestions, please feel free to reply.

May Allah guide all of us to the straight path.

As’salamo Alaikum brother Osama,

I read http://www.angelfire.com/bug/answering/hell.htm and then read your post "Will Allah Almighty really make a camel go through a needle's eye in the Life after and end all punishments in Hell?" I just want to comment on it.

Allah gave mankind including Prophet Mohammad little knowledge:
(17:85) They are asking thee concerning the Spirit. Say: The Spirit is by command of my Lord, and of knowledge ye have been vouchsafed but little.

Among the little knowledge that Allah revealed to mankind is that He doesn’t forgive those who associate anything with Him:
(4:48) Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly fabricated a tremendous sin.

How then hell fire is not eternal (no end)?

How about (103:1-3) I swear by the time, Indeed, mankind is in loss,  Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.

Wa Alaikum As'salam,

I have read your article and I have few comments regarding item 3  in www.answering-christianity.com/friends.htm

Please note that Allah said in verse (3:199) “لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ”: those who believe in Allah (God) and what was revealed to you. When anyone from Jews and Christians (believe in what was revealed to Prophet Mohammad “Quran”), they become Muslims and are no longer Jews or Christians. Allah meant in this verse that there will be Muslims from the Jews and Christians people. As we all see today that there are Jews and Christians who are converting to Islam, and therefore they become Muslims and are not Jews or Christians any more.

Allah said in verses (3:113-114) “وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ”: enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong. When Allah said that they enjoy what is right, He meant what is right according to what He sent to Mohammad i.e. 5 daily prayers, fasting Ramadan, etc. Once they do good deeds according to what was sent to Mohammad “Quran”, they become Muslims.

They must believe in Mohammad, honour him and follow what is sent to him “Quran” to enter paradise.
(7:157) Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. He will enjoin on them that which is right and forbid them that which is wrong. He will make lawful for them all good things and prohibit for them only the foul; and he will relieve them of their burden and the fetters that they used to wear. Then those who believe in him, and honour him, and help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him: they are the successful.

Please note that I am not an expert in Islam and I am only expressing my thoughts. If you believe that my thoughts are incorrect, please explain to me. However, I totally agree with you that Muslims must be friends with Jews, Christians, and all other nations who don’t harm us. I am talking here about peaceful citizens, not their governments.

Jazak Allah Khair,
With great respect,
