There was a video in oxford university trying to expose zakir regarding the earth shape in the Quran. Someone please refute it.

It would be greatly appreciated. Hate it when my faith gets shaken.. f.y.i i dont visit these things intentionally they just pop up..

As'salamu Alaikum dear brother,

Not only the Glorious Quran speaks about the earth being spherical, rotating around itself, and is traveling in space, but the Holy Book also demonstrated Its Divine Miracles in much much clearer and Greater way through Its Numerical Miracles.  The biggest one is the number 19 Miracle.  And Allah Almighty called It "One of the Mighty Ones":

[074:035]  This is but one of the MIGHTY ONES (Miracles)  انها لاحدى الكبر.

It saddens me when I hear Muslims say that their faith in Islam is shaken after all of the Miracles that were shown to them.  The doomed-to-Hell infidels and polytheists have nothing but noise and rubbish.  We have the Divine Truth.

Sometimes i dont strongly believe in the "number" miracles as it seems as a coincidence. I mean like the word day occuri g 365 times. But we also use days (6 days) implying a long "time absolute". Wouldn't that be cherry picking?

Also have you seen the video ? It would be much appreciated if you can refute it. Inshallah my faith will strengthen as it has reached it's lowest unfortunately..

The shape of earth were extended at all parts by Creator. Then He let the water gushes out. The mountainious terrain gushes out till all are stable.

And after that He spread the earth.
He extracted from it its water and its pasture, And the mountains He set firmly (79:30-32)

Dahaha means expanded and extended.

When one stands on a huge ball, anywhere he go all parts will appear in extension.

When one stands on a huge rectangularish mass, he will reach some parts that do not appear in extension.

But when Allah Almighty HIMSELF tells us that the Number 19 Miracle is one of the greatest ones, then the matter COULD NOT BE a coincidence:

@Osama I did read your article but the design of the site makes it really hard to understand cause everything is kinda all over the place.

My apologies for (BSing). I already know in proof that Dahaha clearly exists in Muajam al waseet and further ancient proof was the Poet Ibn Al-Rumi who used it in a poem.

I just wanted to know what their claim was and i was too worried to see it in my own not to shake my faith in Almighty الله. I wondered if they used science or what exactly,if nobody minds explaining.. i will contribute to the site inshAllah but it would be hard if my faith were shaken.
